This is another Taoist association in Singapore and the temple is over 1.5 CENTURY old and is a gazetted historical monument. For both male and female visitors, please observe a proper dress code, including children. Direct entry is not permitted if you dress singlet, tank top, shorts and bermuda. You will be askes to put on a taoist apron and a shawl before you entering the premise if you come in the above mentioned attire. This temple's patron diety is the Jade Emperor so strict observation and attire is required as a form of respect to the dieties.

Although it's a historical temple but the mgmt make it so unfriendly with lots of rules and restrictions..need to dress up before going in and cannot offer Joss stick in the inner hall etc..it's make us feels distance.. why would a sincere devotee be rejected from offering Joss stick to deities.. if my three Joss stick can cause fire or accident to the historical Temple then it's fate I personally think...well, deities aren't wrong it just the mgmt/people making all this feeling... nonetheless the deities there are mighty...there are still alot of temples in Singapore..

For praying Tai Sui, for ladies must wear long pants or long dress than can enter the temple. If forgot is fine, they will provide you with wrap around skirt to put on before you enter. Prior to that, you need to book for a time slot for praying of Tai Sui 2023 before 31 Jan 2022.

(Translated by Google) Not to go in, just have specific dress code (If you wear shorts or expose your calves and ankles, you need to enclose the "Chinese apron" provided by the palace, this is to show respect and dignity to the gods) and the opening hours (sometimes inconvenient for the event) Let the tourists enter).
