Built in 1870, this is the 3rd oldest Catholic Church in Singapore and it is preserved as one of the national monument. I love the beautiful gothic architectural design of church and its central location which is also very near the Bras Basah Mrt. There is a nice religious bookshop just beside the church too. After church service, I used to go for a nice meal at the food court located at Lazada Centre just across the church.

Great preaching and prayerful atmosphere! If you will be going around SG throughout the day, and you wish to attend morning mass, there's a 7:20 am mass (preceded by morning prayer at 7 am) in this church. The next mass is in the afternoon. Saturday anticipated mass at 5:30 pm. Sunday masses at 11 am and 4 pm. The priests are available for confessions after the weekday morning mass.

Old Catholic Church found in centre Singapore. You can still see and feel the traditional aura of the Building. Enter and exit via Waterloo street. Try to avoid the queens street entrance as it seems to be closed. There are strict rules to adhere and is very much upheld by the churches caretakers.

One of my favourite Catholic Churchs in Singapore. The homilies are always very meaningful. Adoration Room is a wonderful and quiet place to spend some time with God on weekdays during lunch time or evening mass as the church is in the Central Business District. Weekend mass is always full, so go early. Next to the church is Catholic Welfare Services and a lot of eateries and coffee shops.

[EASTER EGG for Advent 2016> On the wall at the back of the altar, they've stuck pictures of candles to mimic the advent candle lit at each advent mass. How many show a flame? Check it out- need to be there!] REVIEW: Peaceful inside the church, and at the columbarium. INSIDE, the stained glass scenes on the windows on opposing walls are stunning! No pix, because, well, its a church; also, the colours don't come out very well. Go eyeball it! Recommended! OUTSIDE, its messy, with roadworks and diversions due to construction of the mrt station. [ANSWER- Advent 2016- the # of flames mirror the number of lit candles during the advent season.]

Old and beautiful architecture without a heart. Very bad experience with office staff / customer service. My father is also rested within the columbarium but it's been so hard just to request for my mother's baptism certificate that I decided not to proceed with seeking a chapel of repose in a Catholic church.

One of the best Catholic church in city area. If you love iconic old-style architectures, this is a place for you. Great place for worship as it was very soothing and authentic. The confession queue was always long so you may need to come way earlier to get one. Latin masses were held here every Sunday but you can always refer to the website for more information. Definitely a good place for mass for Catholics in Singapore!

DO NOT VISIT OR PRAY HERE. This is not the TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST! Spirit of Christ doesn’t reside here! YOU ARE BEING PREJUDICIALLY JUDGED AND PROFILED BY THE STAFFS AND MANAGER (she clearly has anger management issues) THE MOMENT YOU STEPPED IN! This Church is operated by the most vindictive and vile management staffs. If you are not appeasing in their sights then Elysee(if that’s how the manager spells her name) will fault you in whatever you do or wherever you sit in the church! She shouted at me to get out and slammed the door on my face. This manager clearly has anger management issues. I tried to reason with her politely; about what did I wrong, but all she did was kept ranting at me for sitting quietly and praying on the 4th floor. I am not particularly fond of crowds when I pray wholeheartedly to God. Sometimes we treasure quiet time. I was just sitting quietly saying my prayers and she shouted at me, gave me the most contemptuous glare like I just took something from her! Her shrill and condescending tone including slamming of doors in Church was definitely appalling and uncalled for. She seriously needs to seek professional help on her anger management issues! This manager has just proven me correct about Singaporean Catholics/ Christians as being the most conceitedly self-righteous, selfish, self-centred and double standards people!

Church of Saints Peter & Paul was constructed in 1870 and was the pillar of the catholic community back then as it was located in central Singapore. It is almost at the heart of the city. You can walk, take a bus or MRT to its location. This is the first time I'm back at night after the renovation as I was attending the Creatus Chamber concert. The church has this old, majestic charm that doesn't go away. It's powerful yet calming when you are in the midst of it. Once the Creatus Chamber starts singing, you will be reminded how beautifully the voices resonate through the high roof and echo it beautifully back to you. It's a beautiful church, do take time to visit and walk around it's premises. My pics hardly does justice to the view that will be greeting you.

A historic Catholic church in Bras Basah Bugis area Singapore. I am not an expert, but the design and architecture is amazing! Preserving most of the original properties, time seems to be frozen here. Reading the history of it, I wished they still kept the original altar and pipe organ. Alas previous modernisation actually destroyed the characters of the building. But still, its function as a worship place and the cool ambience are worth visiting to pray. It is one of few places where I think best to can listen to Him and embrace His blessings. From their website, the schedule is as follow: Weekday Masses: 720 am and 530 pm. Sunday Masses: 830 am Mandarin, 1100 am English, 200 pm Cantonese and 400 pm English.

Newly renovated church from a very old era. Mass can get crowded at popular timings, so come early if you want a seat. Personal favourite is the 4pm Mass on Sunday. Good if you wanna snooze more on the weekend, but don’t wanna drag your day till 5/6pm to attend mass.

Wonderful church run by the Carmelite Priests! Once again its high altar is splendid and the side altars on the right with all the relics are something I’ve never encountered in other churches in SG! Would recommend visiting

A beautiful Catholic church built in 1870 and recently renovated and refurbished, now with air-conditioning. It is easily accessible with the Bras Basah MRT station just a stone's throw away. The altar is amazing to behold and a such a holy place to celebrate the Eucharist. The Priests and Altar boys celebrated the Mass reverently and the choir sang with angelic voices, both in English and Latin hymns. Abundant use of myrrh and frankincense helped to create a most serene and holistic ambience as we worshipped and lifted our prayers & petitions up to heaven. Highly recommended to anyone who seeks peace, serenity and calm in their lives. Come and let Jesus share in your burdens and offer you rest, for his yoke is light.

It's a church, for goodness sakes! The God worshipped here is the same Trinitarian God as: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit worshipped in other Catholic churches. In God's love!

Exquisite glass stain windows and beautifully designed modern Church with a feel of the old times. You get a very peaceful and calm feeling once inside. Nice arrangements are made for prayer. The Church is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible from any of the main hotels in the city centre. A must visit for any Catholic visiting Singapore.

Love the traditional Pre-Vatican 2 architecture and interior design that was restored with the recent restoration a few years ago. If only more Catholic Churches looked like this. Also beautiful Traditional Latin Mass celebrated here. Wish more churches would have this.

Quiet space for prayer; when we came after Sunday Mass had started, we found the wardens friendly and helpful; they found us a seat without drawing too much attention to ourselves. We enjoyed the priest's homily - it was short yet clear and hit the message home.

The place is quiet, clean and organized. The Church is well and kept maintain the cleanliness. The only challenges is you cannot go inside the perimeter for it needs and approval for appointment. It would be much better to reach out the parish hotline if you intend to go for mass or visit for adoration. For Church mass, please go to my catholic.sg for advance booking.

Beautiful impeccable modern Gothic architecture that has witnessed Singapore’s birth and era of renaissance. More importantly, a vibrant faith community of packed Sunday masses. Prayerful and tranquil. Presently, this church is under the care of the Carmelite Friars who preach the Gospel with great fervour. We love coming to this church for its rich tradition and listening to the Word of God. Hallelujah. Posted on the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

I have been here 3 times in the last 3 months, twice for solemnity masses & once for a choir concert. I will be here again this coming Friday for another choir concert. This church has a nice building with a nice setting & a very nice altar. However, I find the seatings are slightly narrow and not as comfortable when it is crowded. There are 2 huge statues at the church entrance, ie the statues of St Peter & St Paul. I also notice the design motif of the pendant lights incorporating the keys & swords, which are the symbols of the two saints respectively.
