This path is much closer if you want to go to Mcritchie Tree Top. But the path is quite muddy especially after rain. Quite flat throughout. You will pass by a small stream with rocks so it is kind of interesting. Try to wear good hiking shoes for this track. Parking is quite limited outside.

This nature reserve trail connects from the end of Rifle Range Road to the Central Catchment Nature Reserve (MacRitchie). There are different trails for various difficulty levels and the exit points would be across Singapore at Thomson, MacRitchie Reservoir or Bukit Timah.

Erosion is making the trail harder to traverse. Do be careful.

Rifle Range Link connect Rifle Range Rd to MacRitchie Reservoir Sime Track. The track is rugged as it is mostly natural. Do wear proper hiking shoes when trekking along this track cos sometimes it can be muddy. There is no toilet on this Trail.

First off all the place is a nature trail, no bicycle or other vehicular access possible, so don't bother if you are on wheelchair. You can access the place by the end of Rifle Range Road. It is a place where Singapore's primary forest still exist. Wear good comfortable walking shoes, and insect repellant. You can find many insects especially butterflies in the late morning, monkeys, small birds, lizards commonly seen. Moths and bats and spiders are common sight at night, lucky enough you will see the rare slow loris, the civet cat, the flying squirrel and mousedeer. Visiting at night is not recommended with no street lighting in the area. Walk to the end you will reach the intersection to Jelutong Tower or to Sime Road (Treetop Walk).

Nice nature hiking trail, but be well prepared for muddy and slippery terrain because of heavy downpour..
