A brilliant way to see a lot of Singapore’s culture and history - especially on your first day. Being on a bike means you cruise effortlessly between points of interest, but can also hear and smell the spices and foods of different precincts as you pass through them. Jeff is the perfect guide, extremely knowledgeable about Singapore’s long history - I felt our questions were only scratching the surface of his knowledge. Jeff was also an amazing shepherd and ‘traffic cop’ taking us down back laneways and areas you couldn’t reach on any other tour. We also stopped for refreshments, sampling unique Singaporean drinks as part of the tour. At the finish Jeff gives an excellent summary of where we went and how to go back to each area for a more in-depth visit. Extremely worthwhile!!

Truly a great tour of Singapore. From the booking process, to the guide, to the sites - this is the best tour! Very knowledgeable and get to see things you may not find on your own. Highly, highly recommend this tour of Singapore! Do it the day you arrive, or the day after, so you know where you want to go back to afterwards!

I did this tour twice. It is the best way to know history and diversity of Singapore and know the city well. Tourists should do this on the first day so they can utilise the information in future trips.

Make this activity one of the first things that you do in Singapore. It's very informative and you get a great sense of the city and what to do (or not) when you are here. Our guide Derrick, a local, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend Lion City Bike tour, and be prepared to get sweaty!

We did the Pulau Ubin tour while we were in Singapore and it was awesome, the guys Jeff and Holden (😋) friendly, chatty and so informative. We got to experience a little bush tucker 👍🏼 and for the first time taste Durian 🤔 let’s say it was different but found out the better quality Durian does not smell as much 😋. We took this tour as the last time we were in Singapore we did the local tour with them checking out Singapore we loved that one and so we thought let’s try something different 👍🏼😎 Thanks Jeff and Holden.

Amazing bike tour with a comfy bike and a very energetic and knowledgeable tour guide (Fred). We have enjoyed the ride and the tour as we have learned a lot about Singapore history and culture. I would strongly recommend this tour at your 1st or 2nd day in Singapore, as it will help you to know the whereabouts in the city.

Fun morning tour biking around a neighborhood I normally wouldn’t have explored! It was great getting to know Fred and the local area and the food tour was amazing! Can’t wait to return to try the Lion City Tour!

We had signed on for the Ubin Island bike tour. Our guide, Jeff is friendly and patient. Had it not for him, we wouldn’t haven known so much about the ecosystem on the island and gather new knowledge about the fauna and flora on the island. Interesting tour!

the tour was soooo perfect. you could go to many tourist spots with explanation in just 4hrs. Wyman was the perfect guide. it was tiring and hot but fulfilling. afterwards he gave us complete information about places we should definetely visit in Singapore thru our Whatsapp with no extra charge and whenever we have a question even after the tour was done, he would happily reply to our messages. more power to you guys.

Fantastic bike tour at Pulau Ubin. So glad that we went with it. Jeff is our guide and he is able to share his knowledge of the ecosystem and plant biology with us. It was also really enjoyable as we discover the history and the recent developments of Ubin. 4 hours of bike tour is just nice for us. Anything longer will be quite exhausting. Will definitely recommend friends and family to go for the bike tour!

Mr. Jeff, the guide is very courteous to receive us, safety concerned, knowing the history of the places shown, good guide. do recommend to go for this Lion City Bike Tour. Took exactly 4 hours biking to all icons of Singapore in the city.

Fred was an amazing and patient tour guide. The tour was very well organised, ran according to schedule even though the weather was unpredictable. There were a few kids in our group and Fred was extremely patient in answering all their curious questions and also ensured their safety while riding the bike. We also had enough time to click photos at every stop and was wonderful learning about Singapore through Fred. We highly recommend this tour.. thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had a great time on our Bike Around Tour, Zac was a great guide and showed us all the top spots in Singapore. I feel like we got to see all areas of the city which was especially good as we only had two days in the city.

Excellent 4hr easy pace tour. Ten people on our tour. Mostly back streets and carefree areas. Fred was our awesome guide, great communicator with interesting stories.

Fred was our guide and he was the best! So friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had such a great day with him. He also takes the best photos- and took over 100 photos of our group in action and at famous landmarks without us asking! We had 3 teenagers with us- the boys usually being hard to impress, but they really enjoyed the day. We also got some delicious local snacks and a refreshing local drink. Easy flat ride, and learnt so much about the history of Singapore. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our tour with Fred! He taught us a lot about Singapore and he recommended us very good places to eat! It was easy to communicate with him, he was helpful and kind! The tour itself was in a good tempo with not too many people

Lion City Bike Tour was awesome. We had a great guide, Holden. He was so knowledgeable about Singapore with many interesting details. He would discuss his own experiences as well especially good places to visit such as places to eat. The trip was very pleasant with such a great experienced guide. I highly recommend this trip and guide for any visitors to Singapore.

Lion City Bike tour is excellent. Our guide Holden was very friendly, knowledgeable, and shared his love of the city - that makes a difference. If making a first time visit perfect for early in the visit as it covers so many key spots to return to and explore deeper.

Holdens unique style of touring which made it such a fun way to spend the morning seeing Singapore, having done the bus tour the day before and felt like we didn’t see enough. We decided to take the bike tour and were lucky enough to have Holden as our guide, his excellent fun filled tour which gave great local tips and ideas. Holden is a proud Singaporean which makes it even more special. Will recommend this tour to all our friends that visit Singapore.

“Best way to explore Singapore “ Well organized and easily paced. Entertaining, informative and educational. You can learn and experience the colorful diversity of Singapore in half day. (Translated by Google) Very nice tour through Singapore! Jeff is doing very well, speaks English well and really knows a lot about Singapore. You stop quite often to get some info. You start at 9 am and it ends at half past one, there are 2 stops. To make it even better, I would insert a food stop and omit a few less interesting things. We had breakfast at 8 o'clock and only ate again at 2 o'clock, it was super hot and it still costs energy, almost fell of hunger. So that's the only tip! Furthermore, completely great! I would do this tour on the first or second day in Singapore.

The trip is easy, suitable for both young and old, it is recommended to arrange the first morning of the trip to help with the arrangement of the follow-up itinerary. Our guide is Mr. Wee (Mr. Wang), very intimate and intimate, and the explanations are detailed and interesting, which makes our journey a lot more! I did the Live bike tour from Bike Around Tour and it was great to be able to "tour" the must-see sights of the city! The guides are amazing and if you are thinking of one activity to do today, this would be it.

If you're visiting Singapore for the first time, there's no better way than to go on a bicycle tour as you'll get to see a lot of the city in a short amount of time. Don't let Singapore's hot and humid weather deter you. There's always a cup of refreshing sugarcane juice waiting to boost up your energy level! You'll also get to discover more on a bicycle as you weave through back lanes and alleys that are not accessible to large tour buses. The best part is, you'll get a workout by the end of the tour so you won't have to feel guilty about eating all the good food that Singapore has to offer!

Our tour leader was Zach and he did a great job personalizing the tour with insights from his own family history. We enjoyed the riding and the information and mostly just soaking in the many amazing things about this incredible city. Well done, Lion City Bike Tours!

If you like bike tours, look no further. Jeff's bike tour is the absolute best in the city!

  • 4/5 JRB B. 4 years ago on Google
I took the tour with Zack as the guide and he was excellent. We covered a major part of downtown Singapore and saw interesting areas of the city I had overlooked in the past. The food stops were terrific! We started with traditional Kopi coffee and toast, then Indian curry and warm roti, followed by a traditional Chinese egg-roll, and finally chicken and rice. And I could have had more had I the room for it! Zack offered to Durian and various other ethic delicacies and deserts. The tour was definitely a value for the time, sites covered, and food. However, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the riding was quite tricky through mostly crowded pedestrian sidewalks. Zack was cautious and always tried to warn me of traffic and upcoming turns, but I would skip biking in Singapore unless you’re an experienced and regular rider. Also, the bike helmets advertised were never offered. Granted, it was hot, so riding without a helmet was more comfortable. But I would have preferred having the option at least. All in all, if you are experienced bike rider, and enjoy food, this is a fun tour.

Did the tour on the first day in Singapore and it was fabulous. Jeff is a knowledgeable guide with lots of stories in how the city has become today. We visited many attractions in the 4.5 tour and got a great workout at the end. This is a must for any visitor to Singapore.

Best decision ever to sign up a tour instead of exploring ourselves. It is very efficient. Jervin is very knowledgeable and patience. Must do activity for everyone! Have been living in Singapore for 3 years and quite familiar with the country but sign up for tour is still best value for money and decision ever.

Jeff is very friendly and effective, very informative and knowledgeable of the nations history. Would definitely recommend the tour. He helps take many pictures and is very approachable! It's definitely a very fun tour! Worth every penny and every time, did not feel like 4 hours at all.

Attended the pulau ubin cycling tour (4/4/21) & got to learn a lot more about the history, & biodiversity to this little island. Jeff, guide for the tour, was a very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable person. He shared with enthusiasm about the landscape, flora & fauna we see along the journey. Was supposed to attend the session on March, but my partner fell sick the night before. Upon knowledge, of that after we missed the march session, he offered to reschedule us for a subsequent session even though he didn’t had to (since he wasn’t notified in advance).

I HIGHLY recommend that someone who expects to explore Singapore join in the Lion City Bike Tour! The tour guide Jeff Wee is super nice and knowledgeable of the history and culture of the city. Also, he is a foodie expert if you wanna explore authentic local food at the best price. I'm sure Bike Tour should definitely be your first stop if you come to Singapore first time. The entire city is also biker-friendly. Everything is organized and clean. So you don't worry about the safety issue. Hope you will enjoy the Bike Tour like me!

Holden was very accommodating, patient and friendly :) He prepared really well and went above and beyond for us despite the rain, as well as provided good travelling tips. Really liked the samosa, sugar cane juice, and kaya toast. Best tour we have ever been on! Would go again :)

Jeff was a great tour guide. He made sure that we were comfortable with our bikes from the start. He did not delay our tour despite others were late (didn’t turn up in the end). He was also very informative during the tour. I learnt a lot which I think would be fantastic for all families with children. Children can learn a lot about nature. I would also recommend anyone who is adventurous and wanna know more about pulau ubin. It is a very easy trail for all cyclist. Jeff would also help us to take pictures along the way and will send it to us at the end of the tour. The tour was enjoyable and it was a great experience even though we cannot travel anymore. It brings back a little traveling atmosphere.
