Food was good in general. Would recommend the mushroom risotto & calamari. We went on a weekday afternoon, so seats were a plenty. Service staff can be happier. The cashier girl seemed like she hated her job/life.

Great food but even greater ambience dining at Coastes!! It is an experience dining by the beach on a great sunny weather(don’t have to worry you are under the sun because they have big umbrellas to shelter you). Crab and scallop risotto had a tomato base. Every spoon full of this risotto guarantees either scallop or crab in it. It was nicely seasoned with herbs as well. Fried calamari was crispy, lightly battered, flavorful. In the inside, the squid was juicy and firm.

Consistently horrible service by all the service crews in our recent visit to Coastes. We used to frequent here in 2020 and the service was fine. Coastes should not charge service charge with such appalling service. When we first enter coastes, we were placed in the indoor dining area and the service staff told us that we can move out later when the sun isn't so hot. In the evening, when we requested for a change, another staff got annoyed and just brushed us off by saying that many people queuing outside so they can't change our table and they were expecting dinner crowd. After some time, we realised that many tables outside were still unoccupied and there were literally no queue outside of the beach bar, my wife observed that 2 or 3 tables of customers had even changed their table! My wife went and questioned the staff and they finally relented unwillingly. But this time, they came up with a different reason after being questioned about their pack of lies. They mentioned that due to Covid, they do not encourage the change in table. First of all, they could have said it from the start instead of lying about the crowd outside which does not EXIST. When we were leaving at 8pm, many tables were actually empty. So the service crew had obviously been lying. The next worrying part is that are they telling us that they do not sterilise and clean the tables, hence we shouldn't change to other tables?? Coastes definitely has a distinctive service standard in Singapore. Have you ever seen service crew literally smashing your cup of drink on your table and walked off? Come to Coastes to experience! Ever wondered how sulking looking service staff are like? Here's a place to experience it! Such unique service standard definitely set Coastes apart from all other beach bars!!!

I like that it is by the beach and have shower booths provided. It is always crowded, probably because it is the first beachside bar from the Monorail Station. Food is ok. What i love is that the iced tea is freshly brewed upon ordering by the bottle. The tea in the bottle comes piping hot to your table. Service was ok, although we had to wait quite long for our waffles. It did not come until we asked the server another 5 mins…. Wonder if they had served the wrong table or kitchen missed the order…

Went there for lunch, food was very authentic Thai of Thai taste . Just wondering why some reviewer gave such a low rating. The green curry is the right standard of Thai dishes with option of chicken or pork which was tender. Ordered the Lemongrass drink, not too sweet, just right for the taste. Price is a bit pricey, but quality of food is great. Understand that most raw material is brought in from abroad, to prepare, especially from Thailand.

It was nice to in a dining place out of the norm. Coincidence or not, we noticed that local families with young children were all assigned tables on the deck at the back of the restaurant, missing the beach atmosphere. Staff service some were nice and attentive, some just going through the motion to get their job done. Like our food were just dropped off on our table and the server left. We were given a rather dirty extra bowl. Price is average. Taste is ok no wow factor. Didn't like the min spend of $100 though.

Nice ambiance, bit pricey for the food quality but it’s a given! It’s easy to order from start to finish. Overall still recommend this place.

Coastes used to be our go-to place since 2020 and we’ve been here at least 8 times but from our recent visits we’ve noticed that the food quality has dropped severely. The atmosphere is always 💯 but today’s visit has ultimately been the worst one and I don’t think we’ll be back. Firstly, we were very disappointed with the margherita pizza that had a very strong sour alcoholic taste. Upon clarification with the staff, we were told that it is how “italian pizza tastes like” and it is from the fermented yeast. That’s fair, but based on our past visits, the pizzas definitely did not taste like that. Secondly, we also ordered a waffle with ice cream and caramelised banana as the toppings ($25). As seen in the picture, we too were appalled at the sight of what was supposed to be caramelised bananas. It also had a weird powdery taste to it and it definitely did not taste like caramelised banana. The waffle also had a burnt aftertaste which we were then told, that it was normal. We were honestly the most disappointed with the customer service when we seeked for a clarification and a refund. We felt like the staff kept talking down to us when we were explaining to them how the bananas and waffles tasted funny. One example would be when the staff said “that’s the banana seeds you are tasting, you don’t know meh”. They also mentioned that “not all caramelised bananas look the same”, but honestly i’ve never seen any other restaurants that serve caramelised bananas looking like that. Even when we talked to who we assumed to be the manager, he was very dismissive and questioned our taste and preference, even though we just wanted to give him our feedback. Overall, the food greatly deteriorated but their customer service was an even bigger factor as to why we will not return in the future. Highly disappointed with what used to be one of our favourite places to go to.

Great experience dining by the beach in the sunset. Family enjoyed the experience a lot. Food is great, Long Island I had was enjoyable as well. Look forward to going back for a lounge chair by the beach and a few pints the next round!

Ambience- gr8 Food - gd burgers! Steak burger was awesome. Melted in mouth. Cocktails - gr8 Beer - limited options. If only somersby was served with lime slices or estab could carry other variations of somersby. Good experience overall whn visited on 1st Jan 2022. Drawback- beach was closed by reason of possible rain/lightning. Some staff could be friendlier when assigning seats! Some hostile was observed. Thanks!

The food is reasonably priced and the location is great. However, some tables are poorly located (at the back, where it’s very noisy and hot) and as they stopped taking reservations on weekends, you get to queue to be seated there. The food is so so (a pineapple salad with canned pineapple, really?) and the experience wasn’t really enjoyable. I came during weekdays and it was much better - maybe the noisy weekend crowd isn’t making the place justice.

Beach vibe much? This is the place to go. Interesting setup but a great view of the coast. It was packed! There are minimum orders here for all tables, so be aware. They do not accept cash. Ordering is through a QR code (they do have wifi available). You order yourself online, then go pay at the cashier and only after that will your order be brought out. Just FYI. They have restrooms and showers there, I guess they own a small strip of beach? The restrooms were covered in sand 😆. You can strip down to the swimsuit and go chill. They have a bar with a decent selection. Food prices are slightly elevated . I tried the fish and chips- the fish was acceptable. The fries are pretty meh. Grab an island drink and enjoy the breeze, boardwalk style.

Staff and location are fantastic. It's casual but well maintained and the crew there are observant and prompt. Our food arrived quickly and it's great to have a cold beer overlooking the sea. The food is reasonable quality, but very much in the pizza and chips style. It's done well, but don't go here for more than casual dining. Prices reflect the location and it's not cheap, but it's not exorbitant for the location, service, and atmosphere.

Had a wonderful time at coastes. The food is exceptionally good and we didn't regret trying it out. Normally I don't really like fish and chip but their batter is really good. The porchini pizza is also remarkable. Hope they add tempura porchini to their menu. Really love it haha.. And we are planning to go for another family gathering soon again. I would also like to commend one of the staffs: Jason. We encountered a small issue as one of our dishes wasn't served. He made swift rectification and offered us free ice cream as an apology. Overall, the experience and food is really good. Give it a try if you are at Sentosa 😉

A place that immediate gives you that beach holiday vibe. Lovely place even though it was pouring when we were there. We had the deep fried calamari which was yummy - love the dip! The fish and chips was ok (great that it’s Atlantic cod)and the salad was generous.

Looking for a decent brunch spot with ample seating and overhead fans? A clean and accessible beach area to spend the day or evening? Planning to spend a day with kids under the sun? Want to hang out with friends over beers or cocktail? This place packs it all. It's good to come with a change of clothes - you have a good changing room to settle in for a meal after a swim. I've frequented a few visits over weekends and mornings are my personal preference. Rainy days will push you into the shelter, but good to know there's an option to side table your fun without having to pack up and return home.

A nice beach front al fresco dining restaurant to chill with your buddies. Also great to bring along your kids to have some fun at the beach. The food was pretty good, but i could not appreciate the taste of the bbq chicken wings. During the first time i went, i thought that their breakfast was really nice though. The customer service was good as well. Try visiting in the evening, you might get to see the sun set while enjoying your beer by the beach.

The food here is ok but you come here for the view and atmosphere. With borders still closed, I guess this is like little Bali to some of us. Will you walk along siloso beach leading up to Coastes, you'll feel like you are not in Singapore for a moment. Staff are super friendly and helpful. But this place is not 100% kids friendly. No kids cutlery provided. Food is priced above average but I guess you have to take into account of the view.

Quite nice environment. We just finished our sand play outside. Otherwise it will be a good private area to play sand. Pizza is ok. Unfortunately it rain, we cut short our stay.

This place has so much wow factor potential, but it lacked. Great location on the beach service is below par of what you would expect. I dined alone for a quick bite. Cocktail was well made I had the Singapore sling! I had the calamari to nibble on and it was okay too. Staff were polite but gave you little to no attention. You got served and fed and that was it.

We had a fantastic dinner experience at Coastes. My kids (5yr & 3yr) and wife enjoyed the food and service was excellent. We ordered Pizza, Chicken wings, Risotto, Fish&Chips. Good Food, Good Service and nice ambience to complete our dinner experience 😊

We have been here many times with kids. Kids get to enjoy beach after our brunch. The new plant-based TiNDLE chicken bagel is quite good! Coastes breakfast ($22) doesn’t include any coffee / latte like it used to. Latte costs another $6. Rosti is also not crispy unlike before . Hope they will improve on food quality/ price.

Attentive service staff. Great place to bring kids as it is right by the beach. The establishment is also conveniently located by the carpark. As it was my first time here, I can’t say much about the food other than what I’ve ordered today (which was the smoked salmon rosti, I found it a little too salty). Iced flat white was decent.

  • 3/5 Ivan L. 1 year ago on Google
It was very expensive for a mediocre menu, BUT it has a great beach vibe, which is what you're really paying for. You can get a table on the beach, which would be excellent in great weather. The service crew was very friendly and attentive as well. If you are using a Klook voucher, you might want to know that it cannot be used on any promotional items and that the voucher has to be used in a single order. The kitchen wouldn't be able to hold any item on the order to be served later either. Overall, great vibe, perfect spot for nice beach pictures, good service, but mediocre food.

Coastes has been our favourite for years and continues to be the best cafe in sentosa beach. Not sure what’s up with the bad reviews. We came for brunch and the food has been consistently good for the past 5 years. The brunch prices are also reasonable for Singapore, much less Sentosa! They also have the most expensive extensive day time offerings compared to the other beach cafes here. The staff were so kind, they shifted the umbrellas to shield us and when I said thank you, they said don’t be shy to ask help from us. It has direct access to the beach and our kids can play with the sand in peace while parents sip on some drinks. There are often promos! We got 2 sangrias for $18. Yes the drinks are expensive $5 and up but it’s sentosa and even bubble tea is $4 nowadays. So give them a break, be kind and objective. There were people of all personalities- Singaporeans, foreigner Chinese, Caucasians etc. everyone was happy. Be chill and be merry and appreciate our long-time coastes more!

Nice place to have a beer and some bites at the beach. The food is on the pricey side for what you get. Mostly unhealthy (pizza, pasta, burger…) and 30$ minimum consumption per person on a Wednesday night. Drinks were delicious and served in pre-cooled glasses.

  • 4/5 Hazel N. 5 months ago on Google
Food were all generally not bad. Beef melts in the mouth, wings very crispy and nice, pizza was well flavoured and wood baked, salad was also great! fried seafood were well battered, but would be better if fish and chip use better quality fish. Coconut was quite sweet and nice! Aperol spritz orange taste was overly strong. Atmosphere quite nice by the beach. However, don’t expect much service. Order, water and payment are all self service.

  • 1/5 Paul S. 7 months ago on Google
Location is good, nice beach vibes. Food was alright but rather mediocre - portions are good size. Service was really poor with the wait staff being very standoffish esp the Ah beng with full arm and leg tattoo. Maybe he was having a bad day

  • 4/5 Jonathan S. 8 months ago on Google
Just right at the beach, quality food. would be great if they have meatball but not impossible meat… Note min spend per adult $30 and $10 per child.

  • 3/5 Jennifer Y. 1 year ago on Google
We used to really love visiting this place but think standards have dropped. The atmosphere still fun and beachy, and wait staff as friendly as before. However, the beef was over-cooked, pasta not as flavourful and the rosti was super thin.

  • 4/5 C A. 2 years ago on Google
Staffs were very friendly, food was okay. Ordered the risotto and spicy pasta. Was a little salty for the pasta but it was tasty. Water is self service and prolly the only bar restaurant that doesn't have a long queue.

Love the beach vibe. Price for food was on the higher side. Mains were almost $30, drinks almost $20 or more. Fish & chip was not good, Hawaiian pizza and beef cubes is normal. Pull pork pizza is better. Service was normal. Will return again!

The food was better than expected and worth for a 5 star, fries was crispy and overall the food quality is great. It was a bit rainy on that day and people queue up in front of the restaurants, waited around 15-20mins to get in. Seafood stew was average

  • 5/5 Sam S V. 9 months ago on Google
We visited Sentosa Island and wanted to be on a beach with cover since it was so hot. Found this place for breakfast plus we found that it has its own beach area with food and drink service. We rented chairs and umbrellas for the day, very reasonable price! Small beach area but clean and not busy. Right next to rental place (bikes plus water rentals like stand up boards, etc). I saw 2 crabs swimming, so cute. Good service. Western food so you won't find local food here, FYI (was only drawback for us)

  • 3/5 T W. 1 year ago on Google
Food are average, great atmosphere and service is good. Seafood stew: very salty even after go it with the bread, not worth the price. Coastes garden salad: Nice salad, with the pineapple dressing making it taste refreshing. Liked the roasted tomatoes as well. Can give it a try. Salmon gravlax: My friends love it, however to me still alright cant taste much different. Its like raw salmon with some sauces. Forest mushroom & porcini pizza: vegan option, love this pizza. :) Coastes chicken wings: Still alright, not very fanciful. The hot sauce go well with the wings.

This place used to have promos on burpple and entertainer but not anymore. Food is quite expensive and tastes very normal. Having said that portions are quite big. The only reason I was ok with having dinner here is because you have a good angle to catch the daily night fireworks.

  • 5/5 Dkpoon 1 year ago on Google
The relax ambience feels similar to the likes of seaside clubs in Bali or Phuket. (*thumbs up.) The menu is incline towards Western and Italian. Good and tasty. I have been here several times, and one thing that stood out is the friendly and good service. (Of course, we have to be nice customers too) I would recommend for families or anyone who love to have a beer and chill...

I think it's best place to chill on this beach. The food is quite good, nice drink offers. If you're lucky, you can get a comfy sunbed with a beautiful view of the sea. Very kids-friendly, too. They open early at 9 am which makes it perfect for a breakfast with your toes in the sand.

We chose this place because they're on PathFinder. They have great service and good food. You don't have to wait long for your order to arrive. It's a great place to chill. Should you want to use the sun bed, there's a one-time payment of SGD 30 and you can use it until 7pm. Too bad we inquired about this around 6pm so it was already impractical to do so. Maybe next time! :)

This is a casual restaurant with plenty of seating on the beach. Staff were friendly and this place had a cosy vibe. Food, especially the tenderloin cubes and seafood stew, were delicious. Prices were reasonable for a touristy place like Sentosa. However, do note that there is 10% service charge even though customers have to order online and then pay at the counter.

Possibly the best “by-the-beach” dining experience in Singapore! I expected it to be a typical beach bar with mediocre food and loud music but this place far exceeded my expectations. We got ourselves the Coastes breakfast ($23), slipper lobster pasta ($23), fish and chips ($22) and Hawaiian pizza ($22). Apparently all their sausages come from Huber’s butchery?? We really liked the first two dishes - super loaded with umami flavors and just the right portion!! The staff were really on point too, shifting the umbrellas every so often as the sun moved and clearing empty dishes + pieces of trash swiftly! Plus there’s entertainer 1 for 1 for all the mains which is REALLY worth it!!

Been here for around 5+ times. Visited it everytime we went to sentosa. Great service unfortunately didnt have a good time last night. I ordered 2 beef burgers including a a lot more items. Got charged for 4 beef burgers, went back to rechange the receipt immediately. The lady there told me they repeated the order when i ordered it. I did not hear the final order count at the end which means it was 'repeated' while i was STILL ordering and looking at the menu. Didnt hear a single apology and all i saw were frustated faces while one guy talked to the lady in their language and then told me that she repeated the order and that the burgers were already cooking. Disappointed because i expected a little customer service or a little apology as i was being polite the whole time until i had to raise my voice a little due to being frustated that the guy there repeated what the lady said. Anyways got my refund handed without making eyecontact or apology. Nevermind. White Stepdad ordered another 2 beers but recieved a jug instead. He went to complain thinking he was being charged more. Turns out they didnt explain him there was a promotion going on and just gave him the jug anyways without any explaination at first. They were all smiles and nicer to him apologising more than how i was treated... Isit because im looking young or local? Who knows... other than that... I really had good service many previous times other than tonight. Great view and atmosphere and good food even though some dishes tasted bland and tough sometimes. Mostly come for the drinks.

It's a shame to feel the need to leave a review as the setting was lovely and the staff were really fantastic, however, the beef burgers we got today were way below average. Considering we paid $22/burger, it was extremely bland and had no sauce.

(Translated by Google) This is the shop I use every time I travel to Singapore. The dishes such as laksa and pizza are also delicious with seasonings that suit Japanese, and the location is also a place where you can relax while looking at the sea. (Original) シンガポール旅行の際は毎回利用しているお店です。ラクサやピザなど料理も日本人に合う味付けで美味しく、ロケーションも海を見ながらゆったりとくつろげる場所です。

Booked 10 days in advance, arrived 15min late: table given away. No effort to find alternative table for us and 2 kids. Thanks, this is the last time you see us. No shortage of good eateries on Sentosa.

👍👍 Everything about my experience at Panamericana was great! The food was excellent, and it’s portion was much bigger than expected (which is a plus for me!). Atmosphere was great, especially having that sunset view over the hill top. It was truly a great way to end the night for a weekend family outin...
