Alhamdulillah for this mosque. Mainly cater to those working nearby. Parking is a tough one though. The surrounding buildings' carparks are only accessible for season parking holders. There seems to be a handful of parking lots in the mosque compound but when I was there, the gate was closed. They allowed me to park right outside the gate though, since it was at night. The mosque, while on the smaller side, is clean and well mantained. There's a couple of vending machines near the entrance. Plenty of wudhu area. The main prayer hall is quite large and the floor is padded.

Masya Allah. This mosque which is located in the middle of the Boat/Clarke Quay precinct is a piece of haven amidst the bustle of the world. The prayer hall is so unique - I’ve not seen it before in Singapore where it has a high dome-like ceiling with comfortable spaces outdoors fitted. I performed my Tarawih prayers and hats off to the Imam (an Indian gentlemen) who was amazing in his reading. I will not hesitate to visit this mosque again and again and again in the future.

Conveniently located near to NEL & DT MRT. (Clarke Quay & Chinatown) The oldest mosque in SG. Celebrating 200 years of existance in 2020! The National Heritage Board in 2001 gazetted the mosque as a historical building. Constant upgrading has kept the mosque serene & beautiful with well kept facilities. Situated near to MOM, State Courts, hotels & malls its easy for muslims to perform their daily prayers when in the vicinity either working or passing through. Ladies section are available. Parking is a little hassle. Nearest HDB parking are situated opposite the State Courts building which is about 10mins walk. The mosque needs constant upgrading, please donate generously. Some trivia info. In the vicinity of the mosque specifically near its minaret tower laid the graves of the Aljunied decendants including Syed Omar himself who established this mosque in 1820!

If you need divine intervention, some advice from heaven, please come here. It can help you analyse your current situation very well and predict your personal future accurately. Just be sincere when you pray and do donate generously to help the poor (many of them sell tissues outside the temple. Not scam. Quite a number of them are really sick with no money).

Located near Hotel Park Royal is the oldest masjid in Singapore. Built in 1820 and renovated 1855 and 1982, this mosque still has its old feel. Beautiful interior and majestic exterior. Also hosts iftar. Should be an antique of Singapore. Overall this masjid is worth a visit at least once in your lifetime

A place with a lot of colourful characters. And there is only that much prayer hall. 5 stars as praying here does give me a sense of inner discovery. But that’s only for me

  • 5/5 Len L. 3 years ago on Google
Visited this temple for prayer and to offer my gratitude. Currently, there is crowd control and all visitors have to join the queue to enter. Can be super long queue on auspicious or specific prayer days. 3 joss sticks are provided after one entered the sheltered queue area. If you happen to purchase a pack of joss sticks, you can also consider leaving the pack on the trolley provided. Prayers inside the temple has to be done standing, no kneeling is allowed due to crowd control. If you happen to bring flowers or any other offerings to pray, there is no table or place to leave the offerings, you will need to bring along with you after the prayer or you can dispose it just before the exit. For family, love and well being, I pray.
