Was getting engaged and didn't want a diamond ring, so we looked up a few gem stores online. Eventually went with MADLY for their wide range of gemstones, creative flair and craftsmanship skills. This was our very first bespoke experience, but Libby (our assigned designer) was very bubbly and patient in showing us their gem range. We ultimately chose something entirely unexpected: an orange teardrop sapphire. It's not a shape I'd considered to make my ring, but my (now) fiance and I fell in love with it and its warm autumny hues that we just went for it. The designing process was a little difficult since I hadn't a clue how I'd want it to look like, but Libby was very patient with us and drew several variations for us. Eventually we had to meet up in person to nail down the design, but it was definitely worthwhile because brainstorming together helped bridge communication gaps which would've been challenging over text. The whole process from confirming the gem to collecting the ring took about 3 months for us, and I really need to say: it's totally worth the wait! I'm not a visual person, so it was difficult for me to imagine how the ring would look like in 3D, from the 2D sketches. Libby assured us that the end product will be 100X better and they did NOT disappoint! Craftsmanship was impeccable. To be honest, the ring didn't look exactly like the sketch, but I'm thinking maybe the craftsman imparted a bit of his artistry into the product, his impression and how he brings the sketch to life. Either way, I like it very much, and knowing that it's something unique that only I have makes it all the more precious. My fiance and I are happily engaged, and would totally go back again one day :)

Having heard that MADLY have the largest range of gemstones, we didn’t hesitate to explore the colored gems with them! Gina introduced us to all the different types of gemstone. Knowing we didn’t have much knowledge on these precious stones, she wasn’t intimidating and instead was very friendly. It has been a warm yet luxurious experience for us! I always love pastel shades, which makes me land my choice to this princess cut Aquamarine! Absolutely love the classic design that Gina sketched out for us too!

What can I say?! My experience at Madly was absolutely wonderful. The ladies were so kind and patient when I was searching for my desired gem , their collection and variety is absolutely astounding! I was indecisive and unsure at times , but they kept me grounded and were supportive the entire way. During the design phase , Emma was so lovely . Her creativity and attention to detail made the entire process fun and she was always present and checking in to keep me updated along my ring’s journey. I was blown away by the final product. This was my first time at Madly Gems and it was such a comfortable and amazing experience. Madly Gems has such beautiful bold cut and coloured gemstones. It Consultant and Designer are all GIA Graduates, which mean they are so well knowledgeable and professional. My appointment at Madly was my virgin experience at a custom jeweller’s, and it was nothing like what I expected (in a good way)! The designer assigned to me was very friendly and patient, explaining the various gemstones and the whole jewellery designing process in detail. I also love the way they assign the designing process - which starts with the budget before the gem selection and design. I also found out that Madly is the only ethically certified gem miner and sourcer in Singapore, so kudos to them!

Long overdue review as my fiance and I had engaged Madly for our engagement ring last year, but waited till seeing the final product before posting this. Let me just start of by saying that Madly has truly gone above and beyond what I had expected. To be very honest, I was initially doubtful whether they were able to come up with a design that fitted me, as I had got to know of their designs through Instagram, but felt that majority were a bit too 'loud' and 'showy' for my liking. Boy was I proven wrong 😅 From the beginning when we first stepped into the store, the team was already able to suggest a gem that matched what I had in mind (it was also ultimately what we had decided on for the ring), and our designer Jia Ling listened patiently to what I would like in a ring design, before coming up with a few for us to choose from. I'd especially like to commend Jia Ling for a really great job on the designs, as I remember we had a lot of trouble picking which design to proceed with, since they were all absolutely gorgeous haha. She also patiently answered our multiple queries, and kept (my then) bf timely updated on the progress. Lastly, and this is something I truly appreciate, was that they kept to the budget that we had asked for when consulting them at the start. Pricing was very transparent - what was quoted is what you'll need to pay eventually. Overall i'm truly thankful that we decided to go with Madly, despite having gone to a few other shops before. Thank you everyone at Madly for creating such a memorable bespoke experience for us!

I absolutely love how my family ring turned out that is unique and special to me, initially I had doubts and worried about the final product whether I will like it after spending so much. From choosing the birth stones and colours and able to customise the design to my want and liking (replaced tiny diamonds with 2 gold hearts to represent my 2 kids), it is indeed a piece that only madly gems can provide. When I saw the final product, the whole ring is so sparkly, pink and pretty, something I can never find in stores. I am willing to pay for it! No regrets! Happy with my ring. I helped design my engagement ring along with my fiancee. I didn't want a typical diamond but something unique. So we came to Madly Gems. I love the entire experience! Love love love the end product! Team MADLY is also super honest and stand true to their quality when they informed me candidly that the very first gem stone I selected was not 100% natural. They could have hidden this from me since I’m not gemologist and won’t be able to tell but of course they did the right thing by calling to inform me and allowing me the option to re-select my gem! Finally found the ONE and collected it recently in absolute perfection ❤️ I find myself staring at it throughout the day admiring it! After, I was shown a bunch of different gems as my "main" stone, and the designers were so flexible and speedy in showing me new designs. A gem of a place is Madly; wanted 2 rings. A unique piece in the birthstone of my only child. The brief was for a classic, wearable piece was met with much thought and patience. The other a "just because" ring in a deep, complex blue tourmaline. The brief was also classic and elegant not overly tai tai. I could not be more pleased with today's unboxing. Hi Madly, Ed proposed and I'm still super mesmerised by the final product! I still fondly recall how Maddy reserved this special gem to be shown last, and she didn't even need to convince us why this peacock blue stone is special. While we didn't shop at too many places, we both knew this is the one that we wanted. I love how the gem turns from dark turquoise green to sapphire blue when it catches the light, and how the gem sparkle off its own. Just like moments in a relationship when there are tough and dark times, the gem reminded me to be giving and calm, like the deep ocean. And i truly echo the statement, make Madly your last stop! When I first entertained the idea of bespoke jewellery I was afraid it might be very expensive and out of reach. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it can cater to your budget and with Madly, the gems you get regardless of price range. are still of high quality. The whole experience was comfortable and fun in creating the piece of jewellery. The whole process will take a few months and I must say the wait is worth it. Love my first bespoke earrings. ❤️

Such a wonderful experience from start to finish! I saw an Instagram story of some very lovely yellow sapphires, and when I visited, I was shown a lovely range of various cuts and sizes. And just to put my mind at ease that the yellow gem I’ve selected was the right choice, I was shown other styles and colours too. Renee was the designer that created my ring. With the main stone selected, she asked about what my budget is and we started from there. A couple days later, a very pretty illustration of the ring appeared in my inbox! Even though I knew how the placement of the stones were going to be, the drawing really brought it to life. Collection day was the best! We did a little unboxing video, the ring is so pretty! I can’t stop looking at it. Everyone at Madly was so friendly, and I loved the enthusiasm and how they shared my joy when viewing the ring.

The design is feminine without being girly, it is a statement ring without being too loud or OTT. And that tourmaline stone! It is like a little chameleon. Indoor is a darkish tone. Outdoor under the sunlight, it is dual coloured. My ring really exudes all kinds of wonderful feels! We chose MADLY after looking around at a few places. After viewing their Instagram and website/ portfolio, was a little worried that our styles would be tak-match. But boooooyyyy did they prove otherwise! We were also clueless about the process, but Libby and Hae Min, our designers, were sooooo good at reading us, coaxing out our preferences, and bringing out gems that surprised us with their beauty. Before we knew it, we had selected 2 sapphires, and in colours and cuts that never knew would speak to me! It’s almost like the gems chose us, not the other way around. Next up, the wedding/engagement ring design brief we gave was admitted contradictory 😅 it had to be an open ring (who does this for the symbol of “eternal love” amiright??) organic and earthy textures, but having clean lines and overall aesthetics. Bauhaus architecture/ art style was the overarching inspiration (like Tiong Bahru where the shop is!). Here’s where we also found out Libby has Architecture background. The stars were truly aligned 🤣 After some honest back and forth feedback, Libby and Hae min delivered a design that kept us on our tippy toes waiting so excitedly and expectantly for the final product to be sent over- 3 months later (good things must wait). While on my journey to get my ring (is this starting to sound a little LOTR), it was only at Madly did I finally find the gem I liked, and in the design I wanted, down to the last detail. A bespoke ring is not something you can get immediately, but good things come to those who wait. Excellent service, beautiful ring. Truly a 5 star experience! ♡

It was my first time making bespoke jewellery and I decided to go with Madly after browsing their many beautiful designs on Instagram. I didn’t have much idea except that I wanted a birthday gemstone in grey spinel. Gina & Pauline were very patient with me and went through the whole process of understanding my budget and style, and also shared with me the different types of gemstones. I’m glad I went to Madly for my first bespoke ring and even as my first stop for bespoke jewellery. They have exceeded my expectation and I’m definitely going back again for my next bespoke jewellery. :)

Thank you MadlyGems, Renae and Sabrina for helping my beloved husband to plan one of his best anniversary presents for me! It was a very memorable session with Renae who carefully put the beautiful gems together to design such elegant and pretty pair of earrings which I couldn’t take my eyes off till today. I was incredibly impressed by the professionalism, knowledge and service of the Madly Gems staff. The gem selection process was very thorough, transparent and informative. I was shown a wide selection of gemstones within my price range and colour choice and also told about the origin of each stone and how they were priced according to clarity and rarity. I never felt pushed or rushed into any decision. After selecting my stone, we then launched into the design consultation process where my designer, Hae Min, paid close attention to what I was looking for and drew inspiration from a few pictures I had shown her. I made a few changes to the design along the way and I found the process incredibly fun, creative and consultative. I am delighted with the final product and can’t wait to find another excuse to go back to Madly again. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I had a customised ring made at Madly Gems and I’m really happy with the results! Renee was my ring designer, and she was great to work with. She listened to my preferences and suggested a design which I fell in love with. After I collected and paid for my ring, I also got a message from Renee the next day telling me that they had mistakenly charged me $100 more than what they should have, and I received a refund right away. I was really impressed with her honesty because I wouldn’t have known any better, and I had already paid for it and was happy with the ring. Thank you for the wonderful service!

A great experience from start to finish! The team at MADLY were extremely patient with me and very professional as I picked out a stone. They showed me a range of different stones and we went through a process of elimination which really helped me to make the perfect choice! The team were very knowledgable and friendly and quick to understand what I was looking for. Gina was amazing when it came to the design - she was very open to my ideas while also guiding me on what she felt would work best with the stone. The finished item is beautiful and exactly what I had been hoping for. I can’t recommend MADLY highly enough! Thanks to everyone there for a fantastic experience.

Have been an Insta fan of Madly Gems for awhile and so decided to make an appointment with them when the opportunity arose. The visit did not disappoint at all as the team was extremely welcoming and warm from start to finish. Hae Min, the designer, was super patient and efficient throughout, offering suggestions and delivering on all the timelines that she promised. I am deeply appreciative to the team for helping to rush through my request whilst still ensuring the quality of the end result. I just collected my ring today and can’t stop staring at it! I’m sure I’ll be looking for any reason whatsoever to make another visit back! ;)

After six months of eager anticipation, I finally received my first MADLY pinky ring yesterday! :’) Taking into consideration the tedious design and crafting process and all the logistics in between, six month is a really short timeframe!! The entire bespoke process has been enjoyable from start to finish. Libby and Emma and the rest of the MADLY team have always been friendly and helpful, listening to my input on what styles I prefer and coming back to me with design sketches even better than I could have ever imagined. They also updated me on the crafting process regularly. Yesterday when I finally unboxed the ring and saw the final product, I think I audibly gasped because it was absolutely stunning!!! Thank you Libby and Emma for this beautiful work of art ☺️💕

Absolutely love the ring! So many people have complimented us on how beautiful the ring is. When my fiancé and I stepped into Madly, we knew for sure that we wanted our engagement ring to be made by the talented staff here. Hae Min was extremely accommodating throughout the process and exercised great patience and flexibility. Pauline also took the time to share her knowledge with us about the different stones, and ultimately, showed us a teal sapphire that we instantly fell in love with. The ring turned out to be so unique and meaningful with birthstones incorporated into it. We would definitely return to add to our collection more beautiful pieces to celebrate milestones in future. When I was researching for wedding bands/rings- I decided halfway that I didn’t want just a standard diamond ring- but something that tells the love story of my Partner and I. And what better way to do so by adding some coloured gems too! I start looking at places to customize rings and when MADLY came up- I just LOVEEE all the rings they have designed- its speaks to me!! I didn’t even consult other places as I know it has to be MADLY. I enjoyed the whole process of creating my first bespoke jewellery. Hae Min assisted us and helped with the gem selection and design. I shared our proposal story and how I wanted to incorporate that in the ring- it was at Lake District UK, and we managed to do that with a mix of diamonds and Aquamarine, reflecting the water waves, little swans, and the 4 years we have been together. These subtle designs makes the ring so special to us. Thank you for bringing my vision to life- when we first received it, it looks exactly like the design but so much nicer IRL!! Stacked so perfectly with my existing engagement ring too (which was important to me). Love love love and I cant wait to go back to create my second bespoke ring soon- always a memorable way to celebrate any millstones in life.
