Close to 9k reviews averaging 4.8 stars, that’s amazing. But …… I didn’t experience that during my visit. I’m not a fan of giving 1 star reviews unless the standard is way below what I expected. “Greeted” by a lady asking “got reservation?” not even a smile, or any sort of welcome gesture. A few flies in the restaurant, not very hygienic. I would conclude that the food is pricy when comparing with its quality and portion size. Pasta was mushy, seafood was fishy, beef/mutton patty had a sticky consistency doesn’t feel like 100% ground meat. Food could been served while it’s hot, we got it when it was warm. Store manager came and ask about our experience (assuming from the fact that our food was only half finished). He proceed with a service recovery, which we appreciated. His genuine conversation and actions were heart warming to us. But unfortunately his actions were not possible in turning it to a 5 star experience. His actions gave this experience a star, I would give 0 stars if possible. I would say, go at your own risk. Maybe we went on a wrong day where the chef was half asleep….

The place is not very crowded and has a nice ambiance. It is also not very noisy and has lots of food choices to choose from. They have lots of pasta, burger, and main dishes to choose from. The drinks looks nice but I didn't try. The waffles is nice, all my friends love it. The vegetables in the salmon dish is tasty. But I don't like the sweet corn taste. Just my own preference. Salmon is good too.

My husband and I enjoyed the food and ambiance. Staff are all helpful, friendly and accommodating. They make sure their customers are doing okay. Food is served fast. We love the decor. If you’re looking for a place to eat while you chill, we will definitely recommend Citrus by the Pool. 🤩 The staff named “Bell” is so excellent in taking photos. The 5 Stars are for the Service! A great place to grab some late night food or snacks and even dessert. They close at 2am. The food isn't amazing or anything like that. It's okay with a lot of heart from the people operating the restaurant. What do I mean by that? The service is next level and I am very impressed. I have not had this level of service from any other restaurant in Singapore including all the expensive restaurants I have been too. They are hard working and very diligent with the service. That alone I will give them 6 stars for excellent service. However, the food is just okay. Could be better and prices are a little dearer than most HDB restaurants or my expectations. The menu is rather huge and extensive. Perhaps reviewing and removing some items and consecrate on the quality. I can definitely help you guys in that area if you're interested. Keep up the good work 😀

Nice food, good ambience. The food we ordered are flavourful and the portion is huge, with the lunch time deals. Mango salad is sweet and spicy, just the authentic thai taste. Tom yam seafood pasta is on the spicy side and tasty! Staff is very friendly too, with good service. A gem in the neighbourhood.

I came across this place when I was searching for places to hangout past midnight especially during this pandemic with my friends. Staff are very friendly and the place is very lively(with all the creative LED) creating the perfect ambience to chill with my friends. Food and drinks were uniquely presented and promo deals make it reasonably priced.

Came back after 2 years and still very satisfied with their food and services. Their menu is wide and have many choices like pasta, western and waffles and also have some Thai food like Thai green curry, basil rice and basil pasta and still many others. Brought my family for lunch here as it’s my mum’s birthday. The food was AMAZING! We did not expect the food to be this delicious with affordable price. The chicken steak and da bomb burger 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The chicken is very tender! Even the prawn fried rice is tasty! The kids love the beverages and desserts. Too sinful but once a while is fine! 🤣 The service is tip top too! The staff are very friendly and serve us well! 👍🏻 Will come for more next time!

Wonderful service, very nice ambience inside, and really high quality delicious food! We tried the grilled chicken and chicken steak-out - they were absolutely delicious and made to perfection. The staff were very attentive and friendly too. Very kid friendly and healthy-friendly with tons of menu options. Highly recommended and we will come again with the rest of the family :)

Heard raving reviews about this place. First time had our dinner here and it was such an awesome and pleasant experience! The service was really good. Staffs were very friendly. Food came shortly after we ordered. And the food! It’s so delish! Clear Tom yum soup was so good. And most importantly our 3 kids enjoyed and finished their food and even requested for second round of their wings, fries and desserts. Already planning to make reservations to bring our parents here for the weekends. Since many raving reviews, weekend will definitely be packed hence it’s great that they have reservation option! super generous with the sizes, had the green curry pasta and it was really filling and spicy too! golden platter was really good and hot! can feed like 4-6 people lava cake was sooo yummy hehe really warm and chocolatey the service was great, people there are really nice and welcoming :) atmosphere overall was really pretty! just a little bit hot inside

Great ambience for dining. A word of caution, their serving is pretty large, so do calibrate on your ordering. The spaghetti texture was just nice, the tomato base we ordered had a tad of sweetness with good balance of beef flavour. Have a good look at the drinks and dessert, plenty of good choices!

Great lunch with the set lunch menu. My kids and I enjoyed the food very much. The lady at the counter is friendly and asked for our feedback for the food. The Thai mango salad is a bit spicy and sour. Other dishes are nice.

Came here for a few times already and the service is always the best with good staff attitude and very nice environment. We're actually didn't know at all about this restaurant until we're decided to try it out. The foods quite okay but no doubt for all the desserts as it is very delicious! This was taken on August, last year. My fiance brought me here for my birthday and I forget what he ordered but his burger is better than mine (in terms of my taste bud) but nevertheless my burger taste so good as well (worth the price of the food). I love their service! Even though was 12 midnight, the service was good! They still come and talk to us and even asked how's the food. Highly recommend if you want to celebrate your love ones birthday or have brunch!

Everything is good... We had a great time.. Maybe can improve on the lamb rack.. it seems to be lamb chop? Other than that, it's good..

The serving was decent and reasonably priced . Service is just normal , Atmosphere was ok for a neighbourhood setting . Pasta was nice but disappointed with the burger , the cheese didn’t even melt from the start to the end … as it was served cold … sauce inside was miserably presented. They even require us to pay $1.50 to top up the sauce . I wouldn’t recommend to order da bomb burger …

Rainy night and was in Woodlands. So googled and found this place. A nice set up, place is halal. Parking was easy, price was a little pricey for such a place, didn't really reflect the standard of the service n food. Sambal kangkong was alright. The French beans with chilli was good.

Came here for dessert. Loving the ambiance. Nice and cosy place perfect for family to dine in. The dessert was delicious. Special shout out to Ms June and also to the rest of the staff serving our table for the great service rendered. 👍👍

Came here for a birthday dinner! The interior is very pretty and aesthetic. Good music, not so loud. Food was good and portions were good too. Requested to them to write the Happy Birthday on the cake and they also played birthday song as requested hehe. Good experience in overall!

We came by for lunch on a weekday. We ordered the green curry chicken pasta (upsized) and the thai basil chicken with rice. The portions of both meals were really generous, we felt really full from just one dish each. The green curry was great, although after a while, you kinda get sick of the flavour (jelak in Malay). The Thai basil dish was a little too salty for my liking, but it wasn’t too overpowering and when paired with plain white rice. l personally would have preferred the egg to be fried a little longer so it would get the crispy edges. Otherwise, great atmosphere, and easily accessible via public transport.

The ambience and service of this place is good. The staff is very helpful. Food is above average. Overall is a good experience and will come back again.

I revisited Citrus by the Pool, and once again, it didn't disappoint. The lively atmosphere, ample portions, and must-try milkshakes make it a top choice. Citrus by the Pool continues to be a go to dining spot for me in the north!

Enjoyed the atmosphere, 2nd time here! 🙂 Staff was very attentive and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The Passionfruit sparking americano was a much needed refresher after a long morning. Come here for the chicken and waffles too! The food we had were all really good as well :)

Aesthetically pleasing restaurant which opens till very late. Was here for a farewell party and the vibes were great. Friendly staff and service was quite fast. Ample choices for food, drinks and dessert. But some tasted abit off than others, although the food were quite good. Recommended for a late night hang.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere/environment for a hearty meal. I ordered a green curry chicken pasta and also a glass of homemade lemongrass tea. The menu had plenty of choice for different style of food (thai, western) and also a variety of desserts Service was very fast too. I got my drink less than 5 min after i ordered. I was also quite shocked when my pasta arrived. The serving is quite big. Despite the big serving, the green curry was very flavourful together with the pasta. Very generous serving of smaller pieces of chicken thigh meat in the pasta too. I will definitely come back to try other food items too.

First time trying this place on a wkday dinner time. No Q but the place is about 70% crowded. Simple renovation however can see that some of the furniture is abit wear n tear. Good customer service, on n off checking if all things are good and well. Decent menu of western / burger / pasta / thai. Price is reasonable and portion is good. I strongly recommend the free range chicken. It is tender and soft. Tasty. I do not recommend the thai honey garlic chicken, it is abit tough n dry to my liking. Overall a nice experience in a neighbourhood cafe. Worth the try.

Nice place with cool signboards. Food wise, it’s just above average. The Tom yam pasta was a little too sweet, mushroom aglio olio was good and waffles were sweet. The mint green tea was way too sweet. However staff were accommodating to helping to dilute it as well as accommodated to my request to change the squid to prawns instead - good service overall. They had to a lot of milkshakes in the menu. Didn’t tried it out this time but looked good based on other’s orders

Attentive and friendly chaps here in Citrus by the Pool. The food was good and came fairly quick. They close late by the way. Suggest to make bookings before coming down during peak hours.

The BBQ Squid with Thai Spicy Chili is yummy. Once you eat can't stop. Signature coffee is special. Overall food is nice. But for the Aglio Olio & Carbonara Pasta not nice. If you want to go advise to make reservations so no need to wait.

Great service by Bel, shes so warm and we were all well entertained by her 😄 Thank you for the compliment birthday lava cake too.. and the song sang by her.. super energetic and i love it! We all had a wonderful dinner and experience with Citrus By The Pool today. Thumbs Up !!! Definitely will return.
