Frankly was kinda disappointed with my last dining experience, ordered iced black, iced white, Thai spaghetti and prawn paste fried chicken sando. The coffee tasted diluted, pasta was an oversell with “tiger prawns” (look at the size), and the sando was way too expensive given the portions. You can find better options along that stretch.

It's a pity, I would have given 5 stars for my soba bowl - delicious roasted pumpkin, cajun chicken and roasted mushrooms in sesame sauce. But a few things marred the experience. The olive fried rice was way too salty. It was the saltiest dish we have eaten in an eatery. I had to give my husband some of my soba to balance out the saltiness of his rice. When ordering, we were told they ran out of iced chamomile, and there was only "longan" or "honey lemon". As I don't take caffeine, I ordered honey lemon. But it was actually honey lemon tea. When the tea was served, the server was apologetic and offered to replace with another drink, but none of the available iced teas were caffeine free. Hope management can take note and make the necessary changes. We will be more than willing to come back and try the food and drinks again.

Really enjoyed the food! Great coffee too! They are currently working on getting a dine-in permit, so best to know about this in advance. For now, there are takeaways and deliveries options available

I ordered their all day breakfast which was nice since it is customisable to what I wanted to eat, really liked the chicken sausage. You can manage the portion by deciding how much to add-on, which is good. Also ordered the carrot cake which I had tried before via grabfood and it is still as tasty and moist as I remembered. My sister ordered their monthly dessert special - chocolate peanut butter molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream - which was really good as there was a good amount of molten. Portion size for this would be good for 2 pax unless you really love chocolate and don't mind the calories. 😄

We ordered the yam and yuzu cake and it tastes good! Not too sweet! The price of coffee and tea are very affordable unlike other coffee shops. Ambiance is also nice.

First tried their food about 2 years ago when they were still in Potong Pasir. I really enjoyed the food but since they shifted to Joo chiat, they only did takeaways. I'm so happy that they now have dine in service. The staff shared that they had recently changed their coffee beans and honestly, it tasted better. Smooth and fragrant, not too acidic. Ordered their Tom yum creamy pasta. The pasta is tangy and had the right punch for me (some may find it too spicy). My friends and I also shared the tater tots that came with a garlic aioli sauce. The sauce pairs so well with it, we polished everything.

Amazing Tom yum pasta.. the sauce was creamy and tangy, prawn was so fresh and springy. Loved the corn fritters. Cant wait to be back for laksa pasta/ soft shell crab salted egg pasta and the classics as well😍 also did not take a photo but had their huge madeleine that was so moist, dense, fluffy and buttery. Love it!!

I love this place. Came here on 9th May, Tues to celebrate my boyfriend birthday yes day. so we are doinf cafe hopping at Joo Chiat and this was our 4th stop. The service staff Yi ting was amazing and truly exceptional as she goes above and beyond to create a memorable 1st visit experience for us here. Firstly, she would recommend me us popular food and drink dishes and during our meal, she would also asked if everything was fine and checked in on how we find the food etc.. At the end of meal, when we requested if we could shoot a MTV style latin music video, she helped us video the whole process so well, while being our DJ too. Thumbs up for Yi ting highly exceptional service excellence. Rare to find SG now. On a side note, we order the basil pesto and black coffee to share and it was amazing with tobasco. Just nice for 2 pax sharing, wouldnt be able to finish If i have it alone. The have clean toilet here too and very spacious place. With Good air con and music too. Lighting is great too. but internet here is horrible as of now. They have ordered wifo router to resolve this coming in 2 weeks. so lucky folks who come after us 👍🏻 Parking here is mostly parallell. hard to find lot tho.

Newly renovated, bright and spacious. Great place to hang out with friends over delicious food. Portions were super generous too. The spaghetti was good but their laksa is AMAZING! Love the rich laksa broth and crispy soft shell crabs.

Wanted to go Wooly’s Bagels (non aircon) but weather was too hot & ToMo cafe got a waiting time of 45 mins. So opted for this place since it was not crowded at all. Ordered the big breakfast at $22 & was totally disappointing cos there were only bread, 2 eggs, tater tots & salad. That’s it. The jar cheong chicken sando was slightly better at $17. Had better sandwich at Cafe Natsu. Coffee was the saving grace, as it was much better than Common man’s coffee.

The portions are generous and very filling. Loved the ambience and the setting. Great place to grab lunch and have a chat with you friends. The corn fritters is a great finger food and really tasty. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Great service too. Would definitely come again in the future

Was there last weekend on the 23rd of July for a big family gathering to celebrate my birthday:) The atmosphere was great and the staff were very kind to accomodate to my big family of 13 with one excited toddler and a baby:) Food was mostly great but the portion of fries could be a little more. Breakfast sets were tasty and we especially loved the fusion pastas:) Cake was on the more slightly disappointing side but overall ok. Will be back again next time to try other pastas!

Minimalistic, clean, and aesthetic place (the only downside is probably the location itself, which is a bit of a walk from any nearby MRT stops). Ordered the fusion pasta - Tom Yum & Salted Egg - and the mala chicken drumlets. Other than being super tasty (and the flavours weren't too strong so it's not jelak), the servings were very generous - my friend & I thought we should have shared 1 pasta between us. Chicken was fresh, crispy, and flavourful. The coffee was good as well! Staff were really nice & helpful too - they helped my friend surprise me with a chocolate cake. Would def come back (if it weren't so hard to get to LOL)!

Very flavorful truffle fries!! Sadly we forgot to take a picture. They give you free water too. Super cute tableware and the taste compliments it :)

Nice latte for $5+! Would drop by for coffee again soon! Pasta was not bad but i couldnt try the signature laksa pasta as i had a sorethroat. Carbonara with mushroom was nice but would have like the option to say add sausage or smth. Overall nice experience and inexpensive!

Tried their sambal and laksa pasta, both dishes were delicious. I particularly love the laksa dish as I m a laksa fan. The dish is packed full with flavour and every bite is mouth-watering. The soft-shell crab in the dish was a cherry on top. The ice latte was great. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and the ambience. The service staff were friendly and very attentive, would rate their service and food 5/5. Would be happy to recommend and dine again.

If you’re the type of diner who can never decide what cuisine you want for dinner, there’s a solution: Staple. Its menu is categorised into five different flavours: fresh, familiar, spicy, umami and sweet.

Nasi Lemak is ok but the sauce is authentic and nice. The teriyaki beef poached egg brunch is yummmmmy. Portion is just nice. Flat white coffee is strong and smooth

Tried the place for brunch. It's not at all as it was in the pictures. Only take out options available. Ordering&paying is done via qr code but there's no wifi. So not suitable for tourists without a local SIM card. Food is not at all what's in the promo pictures, place is also much smaller than in the pictures. Sandwich served with raw chicken. But at least it was replaced thanks to the manager

Breakfast Sandwich: 5 stars Their ciabatta bread is to die for Quinoa Bowl: 3 stars Quinoa bowl was pretty standard. We added the seasonal veggies for $2 and I can’t imagine how plain it would have been with the add on . Balsamic vinaigrette was far too salty.

Kids pasta was a big hit for my kids. I loved the healthy bowl. Ingredients were all very healthy and fresh. They offer freshly juiced apple juice for kids meal but our kids did not like the juice at all. It didn’t even taste good to me. Next time, we chose Babyccino instead. It looked great but taste was bad. It’s just steamed tasteless milk.

Ordered a grain bowl (13.80) and beef teriyaki poached eggs (14.80). Food was good and healthy! Very well-balanced meals and flavours were on point. Their drinks are also really good! Got the lavender chocolate and speculoos latte, which were both true to the flavours mentioned! Would definitely come back again. Loved that the waitress also takes the initiative to recommend things on the menu.

The terriyaki beef sandwich ($14.80) was very good. Came with caramelised onions and sweet potato crisps. I topped up $1 for the sunny side up, which I recommend. I swopped out the multi-grain toast for the brioche which was fluffy and nicely toasted. The marinade for the beef is a little salty / too flavourful (for the health conscious, which I am not) but goes well with everything else. 4 stars mainly for this which I recommend. Only available for all day weekend brunch. My family ordered the seasonal veg pasta - it’s not very flavourful and the crust is nothing to shout about. The bolognese spaghetti is a little watery (we like ours thicker but watery is common outside) and lacking a bit of punch. Spaghetti was also a little overdone (we prefer ours al dente). House smoothie bowl - we got the greek yoghurt ($10). Cane with blueberries, house granola, a whole banana with dessicated coconut. Not bad but small portion.
