My friend had wanted to try the breakfast as she saw that it’s usually packed on weekends. So after purposely arranging for a walk to Coney Island, we headed there for our brunch. There is air con and non air con seating area. We chose the seats nearer to nature with fresh air. The service staff preempt us for a long wait after she took our orders. The place was huge with many seats and it was almost 80% full! They have pretty menus with pictures. We orders their signature breakfast, drinks and desserts. The food was of quality and well worth the price! I also like their presentation. Our food arrived faster than we thought and we were happy. It was worth the experience and the calories. Highly recommended to visit!

Best tasting we tried was Mac & cheese. Smoked salmon had a strange funky aroma. Breadsticks were tough & didn't taste fresh. Overall okay food but pricey.

Even though take away, the food were still nice. The Nachos were still crisp, the Spaghetti not dry and cooked just right. The Artisan Bread were so good that I only manage to grab a small piece before all gobbled down by my son. The only dish that I don't quite like is the Lamb Shank, it's very tender but there's just 1 particular herb taste that is too over powdering for me, otherwise it's all perfect.

We live pretty close to this place, so it comes as no surprise we frequent it, especially over the weekends. The ambience matches the food, albeit the price, which is my only gripe. They serve great food, and their service is impeccable. Some of the best pastas the family’s had comes from this place:)

Nice place to hangout, chill and have Quality time with family and friends. Tried their fried calamari, which is not too oily, and waffle which also not too sweet, but soft and crispy around the edges. We arrived 3 mins to 9pm, but they kind enough to take our order and get it ready within 15 mins, so we can finish it quite leisurely.

Great food as always. I am a fan of the waffles and French toast. However, it is very pricey and the food waiting times can be very long. Great if u just want to chillax and wait. They do take pride in their food in their presentation as well. They can be more generous with their butter serving.

Been here a couple of times and food does not disappoint. Always order the nachos as starter. Seafood pan is a always go to dishes, tried the pizza this round and it’s good! Pasta was great as well. Directly facing the park connector so it’s very nice to chill. Just that it’s abit far in. Definitely recommended!

Alfresco dining there is quite relaxing at night. Service was also impressive, there were many times they were proactive in simple acts such as offering water. The food on the other hand is quite average (not terrible). I tried their steak ($32). I’d say I definitely had better pieces for the same price. The steak, while well seasoned, was considerably tough for a medium rare piece. Most of the other dishes are good if the price isn’t factored in.

Nice spot for a relaxing day! Outdoor or glass window seats are preferable as we can enjoy the greenery scene outside while having a meal. The staff is helpful. The food is not outstanding but not bad at all. Will definitely go back!

This cafe/brunch spot almost needs no intro. This brunch item usually comes with bacon. This selection of food seems simple but each is made just nice, especially the French toast. The thing that’s not simple is the eggplant dish, the one in red and it is not something you see often at a brunch cafe, priced at $10.

Love the idea to be able to dine along the reservoir. Love the nature. Personally, i feel that the food taste good. Just that it doesn't justify the high price tag to it. $23 or $24 for the breakfast in a pan as per photo. $17 or $18 for bacon french toast as per photo. Coffee is great! Would be back for the coffee and the view. Not the food due to the cost.

Brought to this place that’s pretty far from everything else on someone’s request to try the Mac & Cheese. And I wasn’t disappointed by the dish, and was surprised by the friend’s ability to finish the big, cheesy pan although the friend had a minute appetite. Staff was attentive and friendly and ambience was great, except that air-conditioning could have been a bit stronger. And now the nots. The menu items were limited, and overpriced? My pasta could have been more cooked. There wasn’t anything else I could order for the night.

Chicken wings and cocktails are amazing. Sourdough bread takeaway was freshly baked and amazing too. Will definitely come back to try other items.

Visited before and tried the Lamb and Prawn Rose this time around. The Lamb was super soft but a little bland, while the Prawn Rose was nice. There is a playpen for kids at the outdoor tables, hence we weren't able to enjoy much of the nature ambience. However, those with kids would enjoy it.

Food will always be subjective but for us, it's good! Especially the shrimp aglio olio, calamari and the mini burger. Their breakfast is not bad as well, love the sandwich. Their milk shakes are tasty, must try the baileys espresso shake.

High ceiling with warm lights created an inviting ambience. Seafood pan @&28 was full of clams, prawns and mussels. Bread was crusty, prefect for dipping into the sauce. The butter waffles was crispy and light. Definitely good place to dine!

Nice and relaxing ambience albeit slightly inaccessible location We had 1 main with a vegetable side dish + a pizza. Kurobuta serving portion is quite small and the grilled vegetable side dish is pathetic portion 3 slices of corn, 4 broccoli and 3 mushroom. Pizza would be perfect if it’s crispy thin crust If you are there on Friday or Saturday, outdoor seating is recommended if the evening temperature is cooling and windy because you will get free live (chinese) singing!

I've been a regular at Whisk and Paddle for quite some time now, visiting with my family almost twice a month. One dish that has consistently blown me away is their Vongole - it's easily the best I've had in Singapore. However, I've noticed a decline in the quality and quantity of clams in the dish over the past couple of years, which is a bit disappointing. Their truffle fries are another highlight and are downright addictive. The aroma and flavor are spot on, making them a must-have every time I visit. On the flip side, some of the other dishes on the menu don't live up to the standards set by my favorites. They lack the same level of taste and satisfaction, which is a bit of a letdown. The service at Whisk and Paddle is decent, though not exceptional. While it's not the best I've experienced, it's sufficient to make the overall dining experience enjoyable. Despite the ups and downs, I remain satisfied with my visits to Whisk and Paddle, mainly due to the consistently great Vongole and truffle fries. If they can maintain the standards for these dishes and perhaps work on improving the quality of their other offerings, it would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience.

Quite a nice place to chill after cycling. There’s a lot of place to park your bikes just outside the cafe. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. We were told to wait for 45 mins for food, but I think it came in less than 30 mins. Brunch tasted good, but iced flat white was a let down. The double espresso ice cubes were too small…. So coffee wasn’t as strong. Other than that, food and ambience were good, hence the 4 stars.

Food wise is okay but the time taken to prepare is slightly long. We tried the Mochi Pancake which is crunchy but it’s cool when served, which is a minus point. Try the Wagyu Beef Burger and exchange the fries for salad, they have a generous portion. Ambience is the selling point here with all the greenery around.

Food was very overpriced for quite average tasting dishes. Sorry to be harsh but I'm very disappointed after this place has been hyped up so much online. Cabonara was served in a soup-like sauce, taste was ok but you could get better for cheaper at a hawker centre. kurobuta pork was ok but it really didn't taste like the premium we were paying for - plating up unflavoured starch to create the illusion of a fine-dining experience made it ironically a lot worse. Nice scenery brought by the sunset but that didn't redeem the experience.

Mushroom soup and sauteed mushrooms were the best among the food we tried. The puked pork sliders were good too. Not that the other food and drinks weren't good, they were fine, just nothing to shout about. Service was good and while we were told waiting time for food would be 45 min, only the carbonara you that long - everything else came quickly.

Spacious dining area good atmosphere. Feels great with high ceiling. Enough staff running around. My wife love the pizza very thin crust. I personally like the cream sauce with the Macaroni. Very rich in taste. The nachos beef was great, crispy thin tortilla. Food portion were great with lots of filling on the pizza. Keep it up! Thumbs up

Wanted to visit this place for a long time after seeing it listed constantly on those must go cafes in singapore. I must say I wasn't disappointed. Went to this cafe after a nice long walk around punggol and coney Island. It was afternoon but the indoor seating is cool and cosy. Order this chicken thigh dish. Wow the baguette goes very well with the sauce. The chicken is really tender. The nachos were not too bad. But will want to try other dishes again next time.

Hubby and me ordered the vongole marinara, vongole linguine and calamari as well as a lychee mint cooler. Pasta was cooked al dente. The vongole linguine was light and flavourful with a generous dose of garlic and succulent clams. I enjoyed it! Hubby’s marinara had a lovely tomato base with no hint of sourness which was a nice change from those we have tried elsewhere. Equally generous dose of clams and garlic. The calamari serving was generous with nice chunks of squid in a lovely flavourful and crunchy batter that was still crunchy at the end of the meal. The lychee cooler was refreshing. I left out the syrup option but the drink was still sweet probably from the lychee fruit but was just nice for my palate. Nice and spacious with a chill ambience. Would love to come back again. Fish and chips crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Chicken wings were tangy and tasty with a sweetness just nice. Pizza half-half honey cheese and lychee duck combo. Lychee duck portion was too sweet for our liking.

Nice place to hang out, along park connectors. Fish & Chip could be better, hope the fish pieces could be bigger portion otherwise fish is fresh. The prawn bisque & duck lychee pizza were reali good. Ample parkin nearby.

It's a nice place to chill and service is great. Servers are attentive and agile. They let you know in advance on food waiting time so you aren't left hanging there. The ice flavored coffee is great except the serving size is a little small. Waffle and ice cream is great. Oriental fried chicken suit our taste. Only thing is be prepared price is on a high side (not exorbitant yet).

Went on a weekday lunch. No queue and ample seats. Pulled pork slider and seafood pan was good. Bread was served warm. Pizza was somehow disappointing as the middle portion was soggy. Ambience and service was ok.

I think this was our second visit, perhaps after a very very long while! Wife decided to hop by for an afternoon cuppa after dropping off the kids at our in laws. As we already had lunch prior, we ordered light. A nice pasta to share with coffee. The prawn Bisque was decent. Loved the atmosphere, very relaxing environment coupled with really nice food. Coffee was great too.

Good cafe to check out in Punggol with a river view and bustling ambiance. We just sat down for couple of drinks and enjoyed the Xmas milkshake and coffee a lot. The riverside trees create a nice ambiance of surrounding nature, which is not very easy to find for cafes in Singapore. The huge outdoor space is definitely impressive in size, and together with nearby eateries, it may make you feel like you're in Thailand. The riverside path is an ideal spot for some sunset walk before/ after the meal - drink. The service is good, staff are attentive and fast, considering the crowd. The only down side is it's quite crowded and can get noisy with a lot of children around - because this is a good spot for family outing. Overall a nice trip to make to the cafe and surrounding area.

Really nice place to have a meal and chill. I like the food and the ambience here. Previously my friends and i had the Salmon, Pork Ribs and seafood stew, fantastic! This time there were only two of us, and we had the Lamb Shank again coz it’s really nice and tender. Tried the Chicken on Onion sauce and it was good!👍🏼And shared the Burrata pizza which was also great! All so good.😋 Definitely recommended!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Best latte ever! Creamy and sourish, not bitter, just the way I like it. Had 2 cups. Ordered butter waffles and they are delicious! Crispy on the outside and soft on the insides. Since it’s sweet enough, I didn’t drizzle the maple syrup. The sea salt whipped butter is a perfect pairing for the waffles. As usual, nice ambience with gorgeous greenery view for the outside seating and not too hot, thanks to the ceiling fan. Highly recommended!

Children’s set prices are at around $12 onwards. Comes with choice of milk/apply juice or orange juice. The fish and chips children set had a good portion of fries and fish were crispy but the insides were still soft. The French toast set with scrambled eggs and sausages were not too sweet for the kids which was good. The eggs were a good portion too. I ordered crab linguine. The presentation was below average but everything else about it was great- like the taste and amount of crab meat I found tossed within the chewy linguine was happiness for me.

Came here for dinner on a Friday evening. The place has a nice setting. Service is ok until the crowd comes in. I had the mushroom soup which was good, but not mind blowing. I feel like it is missing some cream and oil to enhance its flavour. Lamb shank was tender, delicious and goes well with the mash potatoes and vegetables. I wished there was more. 😋 I tried the beef stroganoff pasta which was also delightful, but felt a bit sick of eating towards the end. Star of the day was the apple tart with ice cream. Absolutely loved it, albeit I wished for a bigger portion. ❤️

Went for Sunday brunch. There was a queue (probably 10-15min wait) but we were lucky to get a table indoor as the temperature was scotching outside. Overall experience was good, food is not bad especially the waffles, deep fried cauliflower and Mac & Cheese... scrambled egg and sauteed mushroom so-so.

Interesting variety of options available, went during a weekend evening and it wasn't crowded, managed to get a seat very quickly. Ordered a couple of sides to share, and also a main. Not a big fan of the the nanban chicken as it was a little overwhelming, but the side dishes are good. Recommended to give it a try!

Wonderful spot to hangout in the late afternoon till evening. Overlooking the canal and PCN next to it while sitted at the outdoor area, enjoy the sunset. The food is nice, served large variety of fusion cuisine, from eastern to western. Price is reasonable, good ambience. Overall is a pleasant experience.

Came here for dinner. The food was okok. The salmon was nice. But the accompanying vegetables can be better. The rest of the dishes was good. On the side line, I see the waiter and waitress cleaning the baby chair for the other customers, which I feel is commendable.

Went on a Saturday for brunch and it was a lovely place to be. The place was really spacious with high ceilings. The staffs were really nice too. The french toast was really soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The scrambled eggs were done well too. Definitely will come back again!

Standard has dropped since last visit. Atmosphere is off. You sat in a western cafe with Cantonese pop songs as background music. Western menu food served in Chinese style. Had prawn aglio olio (forgot to take photo) and the prawn is not shelled. Cashier watched u like a hawk. The bill is placed in front of you even before you reached the counter. We sat outdoor and it’s some distance away. $80 for two person breakfast is not value for money. Cutlery and cups have a weird detergent smell, like it’s not rinsed thoroughly. Hope they brought back the old standard for the least . Won’t visit for a while unless it has improved

Cozy place with nice food. Price wise is on the high side but I won't consider it overpriced. Love the seafood pan but sadly it seems that the ingredients are lesser now.

  • 5/5 Peline O. 9 months ago on Google
First time here. Ordered seafood pan. I must say I was impressed, portion was good, delicious, all ingredients were fresh and baguette looked more than I could finished but I ended up eating non stop till the last drop of sauce. Very satisfying. They open at 12 and I was there few minutes after. No crowd and it’s peaceful. Parking was easy. Definitely will return again.

There were literally more staff than customers, and our food were forgotten. Dining at around 3pm. I could spot at least 12 staffs and there were only 8-9 customers. To make the story interesting, all the others food were served except ours. Spaghetti was very dry cheese taste is too strong. Some may like it, but not for me. Waffle taste like it was undercook.

Wide variety Western menu. Usually most items were nice the past few times I was here. Today's Smoked Salmon Eggs Ben was off the mark. Eggs had significantly shrunk, hollandaise sauce was tasting bland. Smoked Salmon had big parts that's brown and stale looking.

Tried the new outlet at Bukit Gombak Park. Average food if you just want to fill up the stomach at premium prices. Decent coffee and friendly service though but more a basic cafe. Not missing anything with so many other available options
