My
husband
and
I
brought
his
nieces
(6
&
7
year
olds)
for
Dolphin
Discovery
over
the
school
holidays.
I
don’t
recommend
bringing
children
here,
read
on
for
my
thoughts
and
experience..
Pros:
We
got
to
interact,
touch
and
mimic
some
hand
gestures
for
the
dolphins
to
follow.
Dolphins
were
very
well
trained
and
my
nieces
had
a
great
time
looking
and
touching
them
up
close,
as
well
as
learning
all
the
facts.
Wet
suits
provided
helped
with
the
super
cold
water
(i
reckon
water
would
be
much
colder
without
the
wet
suits)
Cons:
There
seems
to
be
a
lack
of
structure
between
trainers
and
the
overall
programme.
We
actually
came
with
4
adults,
2
children
and
1
infant.
So
we
got
2
adult
+
2
children
doing
Dolphin
Discovery
and
2
adult
+
1
infant
doing
Dolphin
Encounter.
I
was
told
over
an
email
that
both
programmes
will
be
conducted
at
separate
areas
so
we
had
to
split.
On
that
day,
our
trainer
told
the
other
trainer
that
“she
could
have
done
a
combo”
with
our
entire
family.
Ended
up
had
to
do
the
programme
separately
due
to
the
miscomm
between
trainers.
The
trainer
we
were
assigned
to
was,
no
doubt,
knowledgeable
(about
Dolphins
only)
but
terribly
rude
and
impatient
towards
us.
Prior
to
going
down
the
water,
during
the
briefing,
we
were
told
that
“our
trainer
will
inform
us
if
we
need
the
life
jacket
for
the
kids”
so
we
didn’t
ask.
Before
we
went
down
the
water,
i
asked
our
trainer
if
we
could
get
life
jackets
for
the
girls
and
she
said
“you
could
have
asked
earlier
after
the
briefing”
to
which
i
repeated
what
the
briefing
instructor
told
us
and
she
said
“oh
nvm
we
go
into
the
water
first
and
see
how
it
goes”
Our
girls
were
shivering
cold
in
the
water
and
our
trainer
kept
rushing
them
to
stand
properly
and
repeatedly
said
“against
the
water,
feet
on
the
floor”;
as
if
we
were
deaf
and
seemed
very
impatient
and
didn’t
want
to
wait
for
the
girls
to
get
adapted
to
the
water.
One
conversation
we
had
was
very
unpleasant,
when
I
asked
her
if
they
intervened
when
the
dolphins
fight,
she
said
no
and
threw
the
question
back
to
me,
asking
if
I
intervene
when
the
girls
fought.
I
replied
“sometimes”,
to
which
she
responded
“oh
we
don’t
intervene
when
the
dolphins
fight
because
it’s
a
natural
occurrence.
Like
when
children
fight
and
adults
intervene,
they
think
they
get
care
and
attention
when
they
fight
and
that’s
why
they
will
fight
more”
i
was
appalled
by
her
response
as
i
did
not
expect
a
parenting
101
guidance
during
my
Dolphin
session.
To
which
i
said
“oh
girls,
i
need
to
treat
the
both
of
you
like
dolphins
next
time,
so
when
you
fight,
i
am
not
going
to
stop
it
ok”
Through
this
exchange,
i
experienced
the
sheer
lack
of
professionalism
and
respect
and
i
would
never
recommend
anyone
to
have
this
instructor
ever.
After
the
experience,
we
were
told
to
return
our
wet
suits,
and
we
did
so,
the
photographer
then
ushered
us
to
see
the
photos
for
us
to
purchase,
while
a
dolphin
staff
came
to
tell
us
to
go
back
for
debrief.
We
were
terribly
confused
on
how
we
could
be
in
two
places
at
once.
Feedback
on
improvement:
train
the
staff
to
uphold
some
basic
communication
skills
(possibly
parenting
courses
on
what
NOT
to
say
in
inappropriate
circumstances),
have
a
structure
on
where
the
guests
are
actually
supposed
to
go.
Concluding
my
very
long
feedback,
i
will
NOT
go
back
again.
Not
worth
the
money.
Ps,
photo
quality
was
terrible
with
their
“bulky”
cameras,
a
smartphone
could
take
better
photos.
Couldn’t
see
faces
when
you
zoom
in
the
picture
.
