This might be the best beach restaurant in Lovina. I went a couple of times this week (lunch and dinner) and very much enjoyed it. The location is beautiful, on the water (you can use the kayaks for free). The staff is great, helpful and speaks English. The food is very good (maybe a bit slow when it gets busy). I had the grilled prawn which were really amazing. An extra piece or two at the same price would go a long way in making it perfect I also had a steak which was to my expectation, including the cooking. The price was decent considering the quality and location. I will absolutely go back.

The food is great! Especially the tuna taki taki when they have it! Best food on Bali! Special king prawn is also so tasty! When you eat here you can also use the kyak for free to go down in the sea and enjoy the sunset on the water! Owner Su is a great person! If you want to swim with dolphines or any other activitys he will help you for a good price.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Mentari. The venue has some really fun amenities like free use of canoes for exploring the reef. There are also swings to relax on as well. The staff are friendly and efficient, we had a few drinks, one member of our party had the sotu which was said to be good. Thank you for a relaxing evening.

Mentari is an amazing restaurant with exceptional food and just-right portions. I got a burger and my brother got a pizza. There is a lot of variety here including western food, indonesian food and Italian food + a wide range of desserts. This restaurant has vegan and vegetarian options and it is also kid friendly. There are some activities there such as free canoeing and egg shaped swings which is always nice when waiting for food. The service is great and fairly quick. Not to mention the cherry on top, the atmosphere! 😍 The calm ocean waters paired with the gorgeous sunset over the mountains (if you go there at about 5PM) is amazing. This is definitely a great place and you won't leave hungry!

Cosy place by the beach but the food wasn't that great. We ordered classic western food which may not be their speciality but we still expected better. The pizza was soggy and tasteless and the steak was pretty good but half of it was stringy and dry. Also the white wine was served warm, which is not ideal on a hot day.

Good food, good drinks, good vibes. Directly to the beach. Live music & fire in the evening. Owner friendly guy, gave us a tip to do snorkeling. Saw a lot of coral, fish and beautiful nature of Lovina.

Nice staff, nice atmosphere. And some nice dishes. But I made the mistake to order a Burger. And it was the worst Burger ever. And I felt sick all night and all next day. The meat was old and taste bad. Please don't do the same mistake and refuse your burger if its the same like the one I eat.

I had dinner here and had a really good experience. The setting on the beach with fire pits burning is really nice. The staff are really nice and helpful. There is an entire seperate menu dedicated to vegan food ranging from starters, mains and dessert. The food was really good quality and good value for money. The restaurant had a really good atmosphere and the owner is really nice ensuring everyone is having a good time. I would definitely recommend this place for food or even just for drinks.

Best valued restaurant in the immediate area and boasts uninterrupted beach and sunset views. Excellent service, large variety of food at good prices. Restaurant has 2 dining areas. 1st is a large section elevated about 1m above the beach with the structure built around a couple of large trees. The 2nd is the beautifully manicured black sand beach area in front of the restaurant. At night they light a couple of fires on the shoreline. Very nice place to relax, enjoy dinner and watch the sunset.

This place is an absolute rustic authentic gem. The staff is fantastic and the food is really good. The live band and the beach setting are simply wonderful. When we arrived the staff asked us our names and still called us by our names the next time they saw us.

Great experience at this beachside restaurant!! The carbonara was creamy and delicious and reasonably priced. Drinks were also good and reasonably priced, the view of sunset from the tables in the sand was perfect. The staff was attentive and friendly, and food came out quick. At the end, we paid with a credit card. They seemed to have some problems with their card machine at first which were fixed quickly (maybe they don't prefer credit card because it is more inconvenient) but overall got it working just fine.

We have been here a few times now and absolutely love it. I have tried a few different dishes and never disappointed. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Do yourself a favour and visit when you are in Lovina.

Great place to rest after dolphins watching. You can take a shower but bring your own soap. Shower is free if you have your lunch here, otherwise chargeable at 5k rb each. Food is great. Tuna & yellow fin tuna were fresh. Ask the staff what fresh fish is available on the day.

The taste of food is not great, rather bland. The sambal/sauce is not fresh and not the best either compared to all places ive been in north bali. I couldnt finish it so i asked for a takeaway for the leftovers, the least they could have done was including the sambal/sauce in the takeaway, but they did not put the sambal matah (traditional balinese sambal that was on the plate) i mean thats the only good thing about the dish😌😌😌😌. Price is ridiculous for the taste (one tuna with sambal matah for 120.000 rupiah including tax). Also staff could not cooperate with me asking for a non-swine halal pasta (replacing bacon with beef) and didnt bother even to just ask the chef beforehand, im even their regular guest (have been here for 5-7times in 6months that the waitress recognize me and asks for my friend that was present in the previous visit. They cud have serve their regulars best but they did not, i couldve given them 5 stars for everything but this last visit didnt do the justice). Not really recommended but this is oke of the best ambience u can get in north bali so its 50:50. I only love the vibe, the beach side, and the canoe they offer.

We were just chasing a sunset from our villa and we came across this restaurant. It's a cute restaurant the food and price definitely worth it. Lovely staff. Nice swing and bon fire at night. The sunset view to die for!

This is one of the place which supposed to have 3.8-3.9 raiting and fall out of my list. 4.5 is way too high and I know what Im talking about. Visited thousands of restaurants in the last few years in 3 different continents. Tuna was mediocre and too expensive. Instead of 95 suggested price would be 65. Very bad quality food. Service is terrible. No smile or friendly approach. Is it so hard to be more alive? Mixed juice. They brought mixed juice from the bottle( that full of sugar chemical drink) and and few other fruits. End up paying 150.000 They also added service fee and government tax( thanks for the service ,but would prefer to serve myself in this case). Overpriced, tourist hook. However you wish to call

Classic beach bungalow restaurant. We stopped by a few times during our stay in Lovina. The food was always good, beers were cold and staff were friendly. Also a lovely spot to watch sunset.

Fresh fish is recommended here. Pizza on the other hand, not so much. It takes a while for the food to get to you after you order. Maybe it was because there’s quite a few customers. The resto is beachfront, so the view is nice.

Great little family run seafood restaurant directly on the beach. The manager was such a friendly guy and was really passionate when talking about his specials. The place has a lot of vintage decor (classic bikes and typewriters) as well as maintaining its nature as a balinese building. The food was great, wish the portions were a little bigger, but was reasonably priced. Came as part of a big group and were served nuts and breads whilst we waited for our food.

only place up north that has bintang on tap. pizza above average. perfect view; one of best locations in all of lovina. can walk up From the beach. good quick service. deals on beers during the day. must try.

It was lovely sitting at a table on the beach listening to the gentle sounds of the colourful fishing boats rocking with the waves. We had their freshly caught tuna and a vegetable and tofu curry cooked in coconut milk. Very nice.

Don't miss it if you are in Singaraja to enjoy the sunset here. a very beautiful location to enjoy the sunset accompanied by good food. affordable prices. calm atmosphere, friendly staff.

The prices are typical beach side prices (so kinda high), but the view is nice, the musicians are singing, and the food is enjoyable. I recommend going here to see the sunset!

Great place for morning vibes, and to watching sunset with drinks ( enjoy for bintang bucket 😉👍🏽) and recommend also for dinner ❤️

Very nice place! We came here two days in a row, because we liked it so much 🧡 We had Mahi-Mahi, Cocktails, fried banana and more. Everything delicious and ob top a beautiful place to watch the sea when sun goes down. We can only reconmend this place so much! Thanks for hosting us dear Mentari team.
