Had the most wonderful weekend at Towerlodge. All the staff were professional and friendly and the the buildings were stunning and immaculate . We stayed under the all inclusive package which was perfect as all our meals for the day were delicious and of high standard. My partner was in communication with the staff to organise a secret proposal to happen on site. The staff were incredibly helpful and willing to accommodate many requests. Highlights of the stay include the in suite hot tub and breakfast in the beautifully maintained courtyard. Overall would reccomend!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms (ours included a hot tub), amazing service, incredible food and great activities. We enjoyed archery, a cocktail masterclass, chess by the fire. We extended our 2 nights stay by another night as we enjoyed it so much. Those 4 days felt as if we were on a two weeks vacation. Thanks!

We just spent 2 nights here with a couple of friends and it was superb! A very special luxury, boutique adults only & all inclusive (including the mini bar in your room) destination for a special occasion or just to get away and relax. From the moment you arrive through the big wrought iron gates at the front of the property until you leave, you are very well taken care of. You were made to feel very welcome and very special. We were met as we got out of our car, escorted inside where we were welcomed with a glass of bubbly & then taken to our beautiful rooms which had a real fireplace. All the rooms are different and with huge timber doors. They are filled with some beautiful antiques too. The rooms were with or without fireplace, with or without a spa or hot tub. Our room was stunning with a real fireplace and a huge & luxurious bathroom. The rooms are all built around a courtyard and is of a Hacienda style building. Top shelf drinks before dinner, with dinner, after dinner. You name it and it's there. The meals throughout were superb and if you wanted something and they didn't have it, they eventually got it for you. The beauty here is they listened when you spoke & made things happen. We commented how much fun it would be if they had marshmallows to roast around the large fireplace in the lounge. By that evening, they had the marshmallows and long twigs to roast them with. Espresso martinis were an added bonus. Spicers Tower Lodge also offered specialty wine tours. These are designed for the hotel guests only. Having been to the Hunter several times in the past, we chose a couple we hadn't heard of and they didn't disappoint. Definitely go to Glandore and First Creek. You will get the behind the scenes tour from the barrelling to the bottle production. It was fabulous and their wines were also amazing. Forget the big name wineries. When you go, be sure to spend plenty of time at Spicers Tower Lodge itself. It was worth every cent & simply amazing!

We felt very pampered in the Spanish inspired sanctuary. Lovely breakfast vista overlooking the courtyard/plaza. All meals we consumed and attention from staff was outstanding.

It was a complimentary two nights stay in November 2022 at the Tower Suite. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food and wine were exceptional and the service was warm and welcoming. The property has a wonderful Spanish villa feel to it and makes you feel like your are holidaying outside Australia until you are greeted by Wallabies, Kangaroos and Kookaburras. It is a place most suited for a romantic escape.

Beautiful retreat. We enjoyed the all-inclusive option for this stunning Hunter Valley property. The staff at Spicer's Tower Lodge went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. We were very impressed with Sara (Guest Services Manager) and her team. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing experience! Everything was top notch, food, service, rooms and location. We enjoyed the Indulgence package which included lunch and selected drinks. The Hunter Valley offers so much and there's no better place to stay than Tower Lodge! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thanks to all the wonderful staff that made it such a pleasure. Our fabulous experience began the moment we were greeted by the vivacious Chelsea at the front door and continued for our entire stay. We were made to feel so welcome by all the staff but special mention must be made of Kveta , who served us at breakfast & lunch and Brent who waited on our table at dinner. He certainly knew everything we asked both about the food & wine. Compliments must also be given to the chef & kitchen staff who produced the most delicious, well presented meals. I highly recommend this for an indulgent stay in the Hunter Valley.

The reception never answered any of our calls, had to google their phone number and call them to get anything. . They charged us for birthday candles They charged us for body wash and shampoo There was hardly any reception staff and they were all unhelpful borderline condescending. The food is good when the head chefs on really good BUT it’s noticeably different when he’s away. Admittedly it’s challenging to retain a level when the boss is not in but for the price you’re being charged perhaps he should be in all the time. The food wasn’t worth putting up with the ego of some reception staff. If you go you’ll understand. There’s potential but the bowling club style of staff is really evident and there’s NO hospitality. ZERO kindness and ZERO RESPECT for customers..Jodie is more like a T.V prison warden and the girl that checked us out was not pleasant and seemed to dislike us perhaps via Jodie. This is the problem with the hirer and it’s why they only had 3 bookings over 3 days.
