Most underwhelming experience. Took them close to 30mins to deliver our 2 scoops ice cream, claiming that their service delay was due to their order fulfillment system, whatever that is. The ice cream didn’t look like what’s displayed on the menu, and when it arrived, it’s already half melted and you’ve gotta be quick to wolf it down before it becomes a sweet puddle of insipid ex-ice cream. The spoon given was a cheap small plastic ones that’s unsuitable for eating off a unsuitable bowl as so they say their usual container ran out, which smacks of bad management. The taste of ice cream is meh and you’re better off with the ice creams sold in Indomart which is better value and way tastier. The entire place is too warm without proper ventilation, toilet is so dirty (yucks!) and no words on how this brand could even survive this long. Don’t bother coming here, save yourself the hassle and tummy space.

My all-time favorite is the Tutti Frutty flavor. The building itself is charming and antique, and I appreciate how Solo has managed to maintain traditional restaurants like this. What sticks in my memory every time I come here is the cassette store next door.

Iconic place to get some ice cream. With hot weather its so nice to get some cold beverages. Its so refreshing. I try some lumpia but i kinda not liking it. Yet the ice from my sister said is so nostalgic flavor.

Right now the store is under maintenance, there is no Wheelchair access, no QR payment here, debit acceptable for payment above IDR 250K, car parking is very limited, the store located next to traffic light so parking in the road aide would be big problem. there are only few menu that you allow to mix and match flavor. Overall the ice cream taste very authentic, I tried rum raisin and mentos, taste refreshing.

This place is the legendary ice cream shop of Surakarta. We visited this place on a weekday and afternoon; the place was not very crowded on our visitation. The place itself gives you a traditional feeling. We ordered Banana Split (32 K excl. tax, 35.2 K incl. tax). It tasted just okay, not so special for us. We expected a more homey, traditional, old-style texture of the ice cream. They said (in a text in the menu) that the characteristic of the shop itself is a traditional ice cream that evolved with the era, but we thought that the innovation was not suitable nor novel enough. Based on the experience that we had, we concluded that it was not worth the price, leading to our conclusion that this place feels somewhat overrated. There was also a signage that prohibited you from bringing beverages/food outside the shop.

Tried the sandwich ice cream, very good. The portion are proper, worth the price. The service is a bit slow, it is understandable because it was crowded when i was there around after lunch, but they're friendly. Atmosphere is okay, they have plenty of seats so when its busy hours, dont have to worry, outdoor seats are provided. They accept QR payment. A lot of ice cream options.

I'm so sorry i gave 3/5 stars because i think it's just not worth it. There's a lot of ice cream house that tastes better with less price. Well, i think it's okay if you are in Solo and want to taste the ice cream here once because it's legendary. The Tutty Fruity was delicious (the most recommend menu i guess), in fact among the ice cream we've ordered. But i think i won't come back here if i wanna have an ice cream.

Idk just try it for the hype while traveling to Solo, for me nothing special with the ice cream the taste just basic for me, the place and staff was ok.

While visiting Solo, my friend took me to this place. I was told this is a legendary ice cream place since 1952 and we tried three different ice cream. The night stand (rum raisins), tutty fruity and family pack (6 flavours consist of 2 rum raisins, guava, melon, kopyor). When we ordered, we told the server that since we got the family pack, we would cancel the one night stand but she still brought it. As you can see from the menu and display, their ice cream is full of artifical color and flavouring. Nothing natural about this ice cream.

Food taste is so common, nothing special, kinda expensive with the price. Not recommended for international tourist. But if you’re searching for a bustling road view of surakarta, then this might be your choice.

Another underrated yet forgotten eat destination in Solo. It has same taste since my childhood! It is likely sorbet, less milk contain, less creamy but satisfying melting sensation. The taste, the texture, the color, even the decoration of the shop remind me of good old days. Very strategic, located in the downtown, easy access, easy to find. Near many shopping destination too! Cozy oldish and busy street ambience at the same time.

Amazing legendary yet underrated restaurant. In love with the place especially the food. I have no choice but to give it 5 stars! Totally reccomend visiting here when you're in Solo, Indonesia(or others) I would say the strawberry circus is my favorite!

The location of the place is so nice, the service also good when i ordered somethings that out of their SOP. But the taste is not special, they just had best seller ice cream with rum (non halal for moslem) and cocktail flavour they said ( but for me its no special taste too ) no special for ice cream taste.. but the cone and the wafel taste good.. i can say they need to learn of various flavour of ice cream walls, walls is better than here 😅 sorry for the owner or manager, try to dig more deeper ur taste please.. hope this place could be iconic of solo food refrence.. with good quality of taste..

This ice cream is really famous in solo, like old-fashioned ice cream, classic taste but still taste good. I ordered Mango Boom, taste is good but little bit flat, not sweet not sour. But everything is good. Located on Jalan Slamet Riyadi, be careful if you want to come here. This store located on the corner. Have a parking lot, but it's not proper. Because the parking area are pedestrian way.
