Visited this fort recently. Nice fort with all the history mentioned on its walls. The entrance is ₹50 and a mask is mandatory. Parking is free. We have to walk a little as the fort is at the top. The view is beautiful. Do visit early Eve to enjoy the view and the walk.

A very nice fort. Though small but lovely and well maintained with a beautiful view of the sea from top. Few of the canon stands have collapsed as it was bing supported by some weak wood. This needs some help to be out back in shape. The exit stairs are a little steep so be a little careful while getting down. They open at 9.30 sharp and tickets cost Rs.50 per person. Parking is provided opposite the fort. Cool drinks and small eats available at the small kiosks opposite the fort. A lovely church near the fort so that too can be on your visit plan. Spend some time reading and going through the museum for some insight on the freedom struggle of Goa. Stay safe and have a nice time. Keep Goa clean 🇮🇳

Loved the spiritual feel on seeing the church. Though couldn't enter the church as it was closed by the time we reached we would feel positive vibes. Really a perfect picture place for instagram. The exit from the fort passes through the main stairs of the church,so in case you want to take the entrance ticket you have to take the lower pathway. Place is kept clean so please DON'T LITTER and also motivate others to keep the place nearby. Tour operators will approach you with their boat packages once they see you. Overall good experience

Nice fort. Free parking. Entrance 50₹ even for foreigners the same. 25₹ for students. Very nice view from the fort. 3 halls of history and art + a nice small walk around the fort. You can see everything with reading about the history within 1-1.5 hours. Definitely worth the money. It‘s a small walk up the hill which we took in the hot sun. I would suggest coming early morning or early eve to avoid the hot sun since it’s a walk up the hill.

Impressive ancient monument. Go through the documents placed on the walls and you will get to know the history and importance of this place Worth the time spent here. Breath taking 360° view from the top of the fort. It does no justice in describing in words, how beautiful this place is, make sure to visit and spend some time. Visit the church next to this fort. Parking on road side is free. There are few stalls for food and coconut water which is really needed after exploring the fort.

Don’t miss it. This fort is a must addition for your Goa trip. Renovated and well maintained, this fort is standing from 1700s which was once used as a jail. The fort is right next to the coast giving breathless views. You have to walk up a couple hundred metres inclination to reach it. And there is a church right next to it.

It's a small for with a beautiful location. It houses information on the freedom movement against Portuguese. A lovely place to take your kid too. The view it offers is breathtaking, one side is Mandovi rive and the sea on the otherside. You would just want to sit and watch the views

Reis Magos Fort in Goa is a charming historical gem. Restored to its former glory, it showcases Portuguese architectural finesse and a maritime museum within its walls. The fort offers captivating views of the Mandovi River and Panaji cityscape. Its tranquil ambience makes it perfect for a peaceful stroll through history. However, its compact size and limited exhibits may leave history enthusiasts craving for more details. Yet, it's an excellent spot for those seeking a quieter and less crowded alternative to other forts in Goa. Reis Magos Fort combines history, culture, and scenic beauty, making it a delightful stop for tourists exploring Goa's heritage.

It was a nice place to explore and visit. The beach view from the top is amazing. Many doors are closed for restricted entries. There are steps and concrete platforms to walk. Many juice fruits vendors are there in path. If you visit around its opening time crowd will be less and you can rome freely. The photography through DSLR and Mobile is allowed ✅️ Paid parking is there.

The Reis Magos fort in Nerul, North Goa is less visited fort compared to Aguada or Chapora forts. I should honestly say that the fort and it's location are awesome. The fort was renovated or restored from the ruins and it has been detailed about the process of restoration with pictures. The entry will cost Rs 50 for everyone above 10 years of age and camera with stands is additional cost of Rs 500. There is a parking at the reception which is free. The view of the sea from the fort is absolutely magnificent and very picturesque. There are still some cannons placed which seem to be in good condition.

Small fort but well maintained. Good view of sea and historical accounts displayed inside. Its situated at a height so you will need to walk uphill. There is a church nearby.

Beautiful views from the Fort and a nice sea breeze. The Fort is kept clean and in good shape. It's a steep hill to go up or lots of stairs on the other side. Either way... It might be difficult for people with walking disabilities. We enjoyed a few hours strolling around and reading about the history. Well displayed. On the bottom of the Fort there are a few stalls selling food & drinks.

Beautiful tiny fort with wonderful views and design. Slightly less crowded . They have an entry fee and need to climb quite a bit from parking but worth the effort for the views. Alot of information is provided in the freedom struggle which is a must read at the fort.

Reis Magos Fort is one of the best forts in Goa. It has picturesque views and the lush greenery is very attractive during the monsoons. It is a 20 minute walk uphill to view the fort completely. It is near Candolim, North Goa. We have to pay an entrance fee of Rs. 50 per person to enter the fort. The only drawback is that the sea shore near the parking area is not that clean. Apart from that, it is a must visit place during your time in North Goa.

One of the most underrated tourist spots in Goa. Generally not crowded like other forts, has lot of history which you can read in the walls within the fort buildings. Try to be here in the morning. There are snack places just before the entrance. Fort is on a hill so expect a slightly steep climb. But it is all worth it. Absolutely must visit.

Beautiful fort and has a lot of history. Vehicles aren't allowed to the entry in the top, so it's a lot of climbing to do. Please carry water bottles and sun glasses. The backside passage from the top is blocked and we couldn't enjoy the route to the beach from the top. Heard that it was closed recently , not sure though. Definitely must visit and kept pretty clean.

Small but beautiful 😍. Please note this place is not advisable for senior citizens or people who have issues with their knees or walking. The walking upto the fort is very steep and fairly long. In fact the very kind ticket lady herself saw my Mom and advised her to think 2ice before buying a ticket. And she was right it took a fair bit of energy to reach up. But the fort is very well maintained and sprawling with flowers and greenery. The view from the top is wonderful as well. It's one of the lesser known Forts in Goa.

The view from the top of the fort is Beautiful! The buildings on the fort are also very well restored and seeing the walls covered with the history of the fort itself is a great touch.

One of the best forts you can see in Goa. It's really great and we will love it. It's very less crowded, neat that we will love. We can see the Nearby beach from the fort and it looks awesome. The two long steps look great and very nice. You can take a lot of photos here, the views and steps are really good for photo addicts. The history of the fort is mentioned in one of the rooms which is great and we will get knowledge. The staff is friendly and we can keep our bags at the ticket counter, which is very helpful.

You would "feel the history" if you knew the story of the fort and got up to its watch tower. This fort feels special, especially considering the vantage view when we reach up the tower. There is a climb up some steep paths but not strenuous. The adjacent display area talks about the history of Goa's independence.

Very beautiful fort with a great natural sight. You will get to a very nice view with beach, Mandovi river and the nature you are in. All of this at a fee of 50INR. Good enough parking space and the way to fort is like awesome when the weather is pleasant. Choose a pleasant day and kick start your visit.

A beautiful Portuguese fortress perched on a small hill overlooking the Mandovi River. It offers beautiful views of the river and the sea below. The fort has been recently renovated and now has a small museum in it as well. It is not as crowded as the other popular forts in Goa. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited the fort in May 2023, I must say this fort is worth visiting! Another important Portuguese Fort, with its history properly described on placards. The view of the ocean is mesmerizing and the architecture is marvelous. There is a INR 50 entry ticket per person, and the parking is free. I would definitely recommend to put this fort in the 'Goa beyond beaches' list. It is less crowded than Aguada Fort, so one can properly roam around, read the history and also click some amazing photographs.

Explored a historic fort situated on a hill, overlooking the seaside, built in the 17th century as a center for Portuguese army troops. The uphill climb leads to a transformed museum where remnants of the army, including used canons, are preserved. The panoramic view from the top offers a breathtaking glimpse of Goa and the Arabian Sea.

What a gem of a fort! If you wonder why it was more than 10k reviews...yes! It's worth it! My daughter and I paid 20rs to access this place and 250rs to bring in the action cam or DSLR. I am glad we did, as we took beautiful photos and videos with the GoPro. We felt like we were in a scene of the Lord of the Rings, as it was the month of August and everything was covered in bright, beautiful green moss. There is a museum on top where you can learn lots of interesting facts about the fort. Views of the sea are incredible. We really enjoyed going there and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Reis Magos Fort offers the most captivating vistas of Panaji, making it a must-visit attraction. Although it requires an admission ticket and a steep climb to reach the entrance, the effort is entirely worth it. Once inside, you'll be treated to panoramic viewpoints that afford breathtaking views in every direction. Inside the fort, there are art galleries showcasing the mesmerizing works of Mario Miranda. His art beautifully captures the essence of Goan culture with a distinctive Portuguese influence, adding depth and richness to his creations. These artworks provide valuable insights into the cultural tapestry of Goa and its historical ties to Portugal. Reis Magos Fort is not only historically significant but also a picturesque spot where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of Goa. Whether you're interested in history, art, or simply enjoying splendid views, this fort has something to offer every visitor.

Beautiful fort with beautiful views of the Mandovi from a height. You can spend a couple hours walking around. You can see a bit of ancient architecture and learn history from plaques and drawings. Went on a Friday it wasn't very crowded. Entry is 50 INR/person. To use a professional camera (phone photography is okay), you need to pay 250 INR

This fort traces its history all the way back to the 15th century and you can read about it when you visit the fort. Surrounded by beautiful trees and overlooking the sea, the fort offers a nice refuge to visitors even on hot afternoons due to its green cover. It's maintained well and still houses cannons that were used to protect its walls. I would definitely visit this fort again when I visit Goa next time.

One of the oldest forts in Portuguese rule in Goa. This fort was used for sea territorial security. Later it was used as a jail for those who protested against Portuguese oppressive rule in Goa. The Indian defence forces won back this fort during Operation Vijay in 1961. A place with rich history and mind-blowing sea views. A must go place!
