We randomly stopped by here for some bread as a snack but we were pleasantly surprised by the huge selection. When the popular garlic freshly came out of the oven, we decided to enjoy a bit of it with a matcha latte before continuing our road trip. The breads are amazing here and I wish I could buy more. The egg tart I bought was also really delicious. The custard was thick, smooth and creamy. Wish I bought more!!

Awesome place to visit for morning or early brunch before you head to Silent Morning Garden (고요한 아침 수목원) and Zoo.

This bakery cafe is located at the entrance to the Garden of Morning Calm in Gapyeong. It is a tiled house with a beautiful exterior, so it automatically catches your eye. This place is run by a master baker and has a wide variety of breads that are delicious and reasonably priced. Some are so large that it would be difficult to eat them as dessert. The coffee tastes good too. It's dark, but has a savory and subtle finish that goes well with bread. I bought several loaves of bread recommended by the master as a gift.

It is located on the way to Gapyeong Garden of Morning Calm. We visited in the evening and I remember the old-fashioned atmosphere and the good lighting, and the bread was also delicious.
