Bad location, over priced, unclean and run down. Also read that they have had bed bugs and you can tell based upon the stains on the mattress, immediately packed up and left as soon as I read about the previous bedbugs. The bed sheets were stained and had hair on them, the chair in the room was stained and everything was either broken, chipped or gross. The staff was rude when we brought up these issues. Cherry on top is the room smelled like urine 0/10

Needs a lot of renovation. Broken window, broken toilet seat, leaking shower... It's clear that it's located in a shady area but it shouldn't be a reason for that - there are other very decent hotels in the same area. Dirty and too noisy; you can hear anything happening on the same floor. The room included a few flies and some insects crawling around. Not so friendly cleaning staff. Not recommended!

Um ehrlich zu sein, zahlt man 60 € pro Nacht, also mussen Sie keine hohe Qualität erwarten! Die Lage ist sehr zentral und das ist sehr gut! aber trotzdem war es ein großer Schock für uns. Das Personal sind freundlich👍, die Zimmer sind aber sehr schlecht und es gibt überhaupt keine Sauberkeit! Ekelhaft 😷 Die Verwaltung des Ortes muss die Badezimmer, Räume, Farbe, Dekor, Beleuchtung, Flure und alles renovieren! Nur der Eingang sieht schön aus aber den Rest ist ganz schlecht. Und das Lustige ist: Sie bekommen nur einen Umschlag Duschshampoo und eine Schachtel Toilettenpapier, und es ist, als wären wir in einer Militärunterkunft 😅! Wenn ich wieder nach Brüssel komme, werde ich diese Unterkunft nicht buchen. Schade Marmelade

Not exactly the safest place to stay. Other than the smiling and friendly staff, everything else felt uneasy. It is a walk a away from the train station but walking around the area doesn't feel safe nor does the place itself feel safe. Lots of shouting snd fighting on different occasions.

I give it two stars, because it wasn't horrible. As you can see from the photos they don't keep it very clean. There was a nail on the floor, wax?! all over the room. The outlet was broken and it's scary to put your phone to charge like this. There was no possibility to lock your door from inside. The bathroom wasn't cleaned in long time for sure. The toilet seat had pee stains all over it. No sound proof to ANYTHING (you can imagine). The staff overall was very polite and kind. I think we were lucky with our room. No bed bugs and weird stains on our sheets. There were cleaners every morning, who for sure do their job, but not as good as they should. No possibility of opening a window to get fresh air.

For somewhere so cheap, this hotel was decent. The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but there were a few major issues. Firstly, there were no blinds/curtains in the room, so it was hard to get to sleep. The shower was also extremely leaky. The ‘double bed’ was actually two single beds pushed together and every time we moved they came apart. The corridor also smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke. Overall, not a bad night, but probably wouldn’t stay here again and would rather go for somewhere a bit more expensive.

position 4: the hotel is sited in a key location and close to the centre. rooms 2: sheets, pillows and towels are clean but not for the rest of the room. bathroom was awful, the light was low, in particular in front of the mirror didn't just exist. the shower and the walls are dirt. the evaluation is based also on the poor quality/price ratio.

DO NOT stay here. Zero stars. I am covered in bed bug bites after one night. The management didn’t apologise and said they would issue a refund. I’m sure that room is being hired out again night after night and further guests will be affected. Appalling. There were also cigarette butts under the bed and general uncleanliness, dirty walls, missing curtains.

Please don't go there. TERRIBLE experience. Entered my room and was overwhelmed by a smell of smoking. Normally you get used to a smell after a while but this one bothered me all night & even when I left. Room was old, dirty, unpleasant.... In the morning I wanted to take a shower but COULDN'T as he drain was clogged, but even if I could have the hairdryer was not working. Highly unpleasant, this hotel is an abomination, don't be fooled by the pictures. Save yourself, pay 10 euros more and go somewhere else. I am appalled that I paid money for this.

BED BUGS Wish I'd read the reviews before booking here. Stayed the night two nights ago (August 2023) on my way through Brussels and I've paid the price with some hefty bed bug bites. I'm covered in them. I don't mind basic and run down as long as it's clean and that you won't get eaten by bed bugs. I've not even had that at hostels before.

It’s ok at best. It’s cheap but could be better. Door missing for shower, cracked mirrors, you can hear everything in the halls and next room. It’s close to the train station and metro, the area isn’t great and feels very shady at night. If I could redo my trip I’d stay elsewhere in the city if it cost me more.

Anything is better then this place, worst hotel stay ever and we only stayed 30 minutes, we had to leave and find another hotel at midnight! They promised a refund of the room, it was that bad and we are still waiting for this refund ! So dirty and unclean, infested with bedbugs too, we even took photos of the bedbugs to show them! The same time as we was leaving there even was another person leaving for it being so unclean too, he asked them for a refund and they told him no and to contact the police! So he did! And the police agreed to give him a written bill stating refund which I’m sure he has not received yet too! Whatever you do, don’t stay here!

When I reached there and i checked in , I asked to contact the owners or anyone responsible to explain the situation I found no support at all, Owners refused to contact me at all. - Cheating on Photos provided in booking, I found totally different department , Furniture, apartment Size, facilities . I show my booking Photos and facilities to the house manager and refused to provide any comments. - In Booking you can find AC condition part of apartment facilities, This is fraud! Apartment has no AC available and when i insist they brought me one useless water base portable AC. -You will the noise of each step on neighbor apartment ( as if they are staying with you in the same room!!!!) - I have contacted Booking and explain the situation i faced in this property and asked for my money back but according to them owner refused to support. - I booked for two night and I checked out after one I could not handle any more night to stay on this miserable location. - And I saw mouse

We were at the hotel from February 10 to 11, the room was on the 2nd floor. There is a pungent smell of cigarettes all over the floor, as if they were smoking in the corridor itself. The room is small, it's not scary, there is no drinking water or a kettle in it. the bed was dirty, there were stains, and the bathroom, although washed, was poorly cleaned, there was a sewer smell. No sound insulation, you can hear every step, very loud conversations in the corridor in the morning. we didn't get enough sleep. The lamps above the bed were broken, one of the 2 lamps worked. The renovation is old and needs updating. Will we come back a second time, of course not.

From the moment I checked in, it became apparent that something was wrong. The receptionist's behaviour was shockingly aggressive without any apparent cause. I wonder if his attitude was driven by prejudice, as there seemed to be no other explanation for his hostility. Upon entering my room, I was further disappointed. There was only one towel provided, and there were no hooks or shelves to hang my shorts or store my clothes. The room was painted in a sombre dark grey colour, devoid of any decorations or artwork, giving it an overall gloomy ambiance that resembled a prison cell.

Das Hotel ist sehr dicht am Bahnhof Brüssel Süd gelegen. 6 min zu Fuß. Alles andere ist in direkter Linie. Wer e-scouter mag ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben und kann sich viele Dinge ansehen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist preislich günstig für Brüssel obwohl ich das Preisleistungsverhäktnis in dieser Stadt generell fragwürdig finde. Das Zimmer an sich ist funktionell aber hat sogar deutsche TV Sender für diejenigen die es benötigen. Wir waren wirklich nur zum Schlafen dort. Sauber war es nicht. Dicke Kalkränder zeugen von seltenen putzen. Die Bettwäsche war sauber aber es spiegelt für mich den Gesamtzustand der Stadt wieder. Schmudlig und unorganisiert.

Wir haben zwei Zimmer zum Preis von je 65€ für eine Nacht gebucht. Das Hotel liegt günstig Nähe Midi. Die Lobby macht einen guten Eindruck. Entsprechend der Bewertungen war ich skeptisch. Eins der Zimmer war völlig in Ordnung, sauber, ordentlich und zweckmäßig für die Nacht. Völlig durchgelegene Matratzen und alte Möbel, aber absolut ausreichend. Das zweite Zimmer war unbenutzbar, ein starker Geruch von Urin und zerstörte Möbel. Wir konnten das Zimmer jedoch sofort umtauschen und dafür ein sehr schönes beziehen, insofern glaube ich, dass einfach seitens der Rezeption kaum Kenntnis über den einzelnen Zustand der Zimmer besteht? Leider wurde der Eindruck eines mittelmäßigen, aber durchaus brauchbaren Hotels dadurch getrübt, dass ich VÖLLIG ÜBERSÄT VON BETTWANZENBISSEN BIN!!!

The only nice thing about the room was the bed it was a clean and nice bed but the tv wasn't working(was but half of it was broken so you could only see half of the screen) and most channels were just black only 3 channels available. And most importantly the shower didn't have hot water the hottest it was getting was just slight warmer then cold definitely not hot enough to take a shower. But if your looking for a bed to sleep on for the night it's pretty cheap I guess

nicht zu empfehlen. Sehr heruntergekommens Hotel. Kapputte Möbel, dreckige Matratzen, zu kleine schimmelige Duschen. Frühstück bereich eklig und schmutzig, sehr beschränkte Auswahl, geringe Qualität. Nur Toastbrot, wenn mann Glück hat bekommt man einige miniatur Brötchen. Keine Milch alternativen, kein Obst oder Joghurt, Kein Müsli. War ehrlich gesagt eine Zumutung. Gefährliche Gegend

Liked: My stay at hotel aviation was decent. Before arriving, I was a bit worried because of all the reviews about bed bugs, but I thoroughly checked the bed and I did not see anything. The sheets were clean and ironed. The bathroom was clean and had some shampoo and shower gel. Disliked: One of the lights in the room wasn't working so it was a bit dark. The lock on the door seemed quite flimsy, and I'm not exactly sure if it was actually working. If you are worried about this I would recommend taking your own lock. The walls of the room were a bit unkept, they had holes in them and could use some fixing up but this didn't really affect my stay. The location is close to Brussels midi station, but relatively far from the centre, about 20 minutes walking. Check-in was easy but the guy at the desk wasn't very friendly.

not an expensive hotel with a poor location But it didn't bother me, the reception and the room were flawless. The downside was the people who slept there were loud, the smell of marijuana in the corridor. I didn't feel comfortable.

Extremely poor service at check-in, unfriendly and rude. Clean room, but needs renovation. No air condition, so poor air quality. Inefficient check-out. I'm definitivly not coming back. Stay away from this hotel is my advice

Enjoyed our stay perfect for somewhere close to the city within walking distance quiet area, it did the job for a place to sleep but that's all, room not in great condition, no daily room cleaning and no extra towels or clean ones but value for money and was safe with nice staff

Keycard did not function - down to reception - second try: worked. No towels - again back to reception - should wait half an hour to get one - extremely stubborn receptionist, shouting at guest for his critical comment ( " you have no right to tell such opinion in front of other guests") - after time technician? Brings towel, only one ... Cream on the cake: left hotel with some bug bites.....

Hasn't seemed to be a review posted about this hotel recently so here's my January 2023 experience. Located in a very dirty, dodgy area of the city but that can't be helped by staff I suppose. Reception is the highlight, brochures, maps, vending machines, clean but my room was awful. Corridors are narrow, I'd highly doubt 2 adults would be able to walk past each other The socket fittings are literally hanging off! Somebody is going to be electrocuted! No tea/coffee facility in the room Bed was like something we sleep in when we're 7 years old. Tiny, not stable and while I seem to have escaped the bed bugs, it's plain to see why they flourish here. No a/c, clammy, damp feeling to the room. Walls are so thin, I could hear almost everything the guests on my floor were doing. Plus side: Shampoo/shower gel satchets and soap replaced on both of my 2 days there, but isn't that what cleaning staff at hotels are supposed to do anyway? It's really sad to see that in this day and age, the management continually neglect the basic needs of guests for YEARS! Some of the reviews I'm now reading go back 5 years. I'll give a bonus star just for Tonia at reception. She was very friendly and offered help with train times etc. Go shopping elsewhere guys, your money deserves more and this place needs a severe shake up.

the price is cheap only because of the position, there's nothing wrong with this hotel. It was clean and the stuff was super nice. The services in the room are essential but okay. The neighbourhood is really scary and quite dangerous, but it is not fault of the hotel.

Great place to stay in Brussels short walk from Midi Eurostar. Two stops on tram to Grand Place or 12 minute walk. Cantillon brewery 5 mins. Comfortable bed and good shower. Highly Recommended.

Do not go here I repeat DO NOT GO HERE. This is the worst place I have ever seen in my life. First of all the neigbourhood is very dangerous, they’re very sketchy people in and around this ‘hotel’, not safe at all. The staff was friendly but the place itself H O R R I B L E!!! l kid you not EVERYTHING was broken and dirty. In our first room our window door did not close, we asked for another room which we got and again everything was broken and dirty we saw BLOOD in the shower! We woke up at 3 am in the morning because we had such a bad feeling and left and went to another hotel ( Hotel de France ) which is around the corner and I do recommend!!! Finally the worst of all my friend got bitten by bedbugs!!! She now had to be on medicines for 2 weeks! So please if you want to be safe and healthy DO NOT GO HERE

Place looks nothing like on booking photos. There are missing shower courtains in bathroom, after 3 minut shower water almost coming inside room (no floor decrease under shower also). Basicly place to come back late just go sleep and leave in the morning. Nice reception staff

Location is very good, everything else is very bad, when you compare the photo in Booking with real, you will be really shocked. Brocken freezer, lamps are not working, walls dirty, screw of the water Dusch is brocken too. Entrance is like dirty train station lot of weird people are sitting everywhere, (smoking is not allowed) but the entrance and elevators smells smoking and cigarettes. Please AVOID.

The location is very close to the train station and close to the main attractions (a bit of a walk but doable). The Hotel lobby is nice and clean but once you get out of the elevator to go to your room, it looks like it is in mid-renovation. I wouldn't recommend per se but if you can't find anything else or you want something cheap and well situated, this will do.

This place is horrible, tiny rooms with less than 3 channels. Imposssible to sleep with sirens whirring all hours of the night and in on of the highest crime parts of the city... AVOID

terrible place ! on booking have nice photos but in real everything in room is broken, bed from 3 pieces , no funiture, no AC, WiFi not working, all room have scent from cigarette and toilet, and its not recomanded go outside hotel in night i got almost robbed by 3 araben, hotel is situatet nearby Arabic ghetto, on streets is trash everywhere and strong smell, my car was damaged on street while parked overnight .... better avoid this place.

I liked the location close to Brussels midi. The rooms need to be better lot. It was too dark to read or work on the laptop. They need to add a light stand beside the bed or change the lighting system.

The worst hotel ever I have seen in my life, the reception was very very rude , even didn't reply hello when I got there, and when I got my room, no curtains so I asked to change the room and I said the service here is not that good, the guy on the reception said what did u say ok we will cancel you booking , and he starts shouting and saying bad words to me. I WANTED to call police because he came from the reception to fight me I said oh god what's this hotel is not a hotel really, I don't know how booking.com still keeping it on their site. I give -1000000 for this building, the worst the worst hotel ever, be careful guys don't book on this hotel it doest worth it at allllllllll

· 1- room furniture too old and spoiled, dirt on the tables and sofa. 2- found the duvet cover sheet teared!! 3- toilet is in bad condition, found some dirt in the sink and the shower head. 4- house keeping staff are lacked of experience, the room was not cleaned properly until it was reported to duty manager.

· The wifi does not work at all. The room keys often would stop working, which entailed going down to the reception to get new keys. The rooms are tiny and feel quite dated.

TERRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. I arrived to find that my booking had not gone through (the transaction had failed for some reason). I can't blame the hotel for that, but I can blame the hotel for what happened next: the receptionist was very rude to me and tried to get me to pay for a double room that was much more expensive, claiming a single room was not available. I checked online and found a single room that was cheaper. So I booked that one. The receptionist then said he actually had a single room cheaper than that. This was after I had paid for the room. I was so angry, I wanted to walk away but I decided to stay anyway because I was tired and this was after work. I feared I couldn't get another room for the same price. As for the hotel itself, the room I stayed in was grim and austere - the bed was 'okay', but the fabric was not soft. It was the bare minimum and I was paying for more than it was worth. The bathroom sink filled up with water over night. One star is too much for this place.

Bed had a couple of hairs on it when we arrived (let’s just hope it was the cleaner’s and not the previous guests)… Chair and walls were stained. • Shower was damaged so you had to hold the shower the whole time. • Walls we’re damaged with holes, scratches and looked bashed in. • Dodgy looking men hanging around and in the hotel reception, wouldn’t have enjoyed staying there alone as a girl. • Blinds did not fully cover the window so there was light in the morning. • Pillows we’re awful, square shaped and uncomfortable. • Walls must have been thin as we could hear people outside and doors slamming, showers, etc. • Door didn’t appear to lock from the inside as you just had to open it, although we checked outside and it was locked, we definitely didn’t trust it very much so not great to sleep with that fear or leave any belongings in the room. We didn’t like much… • The bed was comfortable • Staff we’re friendly • Vending machines in the reception were practical • Restaurant beside it (Brasserie Saint Nicolas) was good • check in/check out was quick and easy We only stayed one night so it was fine.

I cannot say that the room was terrible. Corridors looks like from horror films, receptionists were ok. The room was clean, bathroom could have been cleaned better... I expected worth 😅

Dirty and disgusting rooms that look nothing like the pictures online. Rude staff at both check-in and checkout and they simply do not pick up the phone at all. Anyone reading this please spend 10 euros more per night and stay somewhere else.

Save your money. Looks NOTHING like the photos. Left after night 2 of my 5 night stay. ...with NO refund. Dirty - all around. TV/WiFi didn't work. Smelled like cigarettes. Sketchy area. Loud at all hours. Hallways were under construction. Did not want to walk around in my room without my socks on - dirty. Random people lurking in the lobby at very late hours. The only positive was the staff as they were very nice and responsive.
