My experience was not favorable. The night front desk agent told me I can not have guest in a hotel room that was paid for. He took my passport and never returned it to me at check in. I went back up to the front desk in the morning before check out to retrieve my passport prior to me leaving the hotel. They tried to steal my passport... I will never stay at this hotel ever again. It is not safe for women solo travelers. I had a interpretor to help me at the hotel and he got onto the front desk agent for telling me no guests in my room. I could only have guest come to the lobby only per hotel personnel. It was alot going on in a one night stay. Foreigners beware... You can stay here at your own risk...

I have never ever seen worst hotel. Disgusting, old looking, dark, noisy! I’ve tried to stay nice with the reception guy. He didn’t want to reimburse me I stayed there 20 min and booked another hotel. I had a window toward inside , could hear a noisy family.

The worst hotel I have stayed in. THE PHOTOS DO NOT MATCH REALITY. - The elevator does not work, we have to go up very narrow stairs to the fourth floor ( one person who can go down or up) I had a hard time getting to the room with my suitcase. - The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the sheets weren't cleaned well, there were drops of blood on the sheets. - The pillows were strong and it hurt your neck when you slept. - The room was in the center of dust, dust had settled everywhere and even after we wiped it down with baby wipes it would settle back. Under the bed there was dirt and dust as if it had been forgotten by the cleaner. - A view from the balcony towards a construction site, the metro and traffic jams in the roads above the balcony, a noise that you cannot imagine. - No ventilation in the bathroom (no window or extractor fan) leaving the bathroom foggy after taking a shower and leaving it smelly after using the toilet. And at the end of it all finally the drops of blood on the sheets were traces of bedbugs, right after leaving the hotel we noticed we had some weird pimples on our bodies and itchy rashes and we start to itch.

Very old hotel. Bedside table has broken glass. The washbasin in the bathroom has a very big hole. Only two pillows were provided, one for each of us. Despite asking the receptionist, he only stated that no extra pillows were available. The pillows are square, more like sofa cushions than suitable for sleeping. The staff struggled with English, requiring us to translate to French. There is no heater knob, making the room excessively hot. When the staff entered, they didn't bother to remove their shoes, displaying a lack of cleanliness. The broken AC, heater, and absence of a tissue box and room slippers were disappointing. Basic amenities were lacking, especially considering the price, which is the second most expensive among the nine cities we're visiting. In comparison, the hotel in Amsterdam for the same price was significantly better. Even hotels in Paris and Zurich, which were cheaper, offered more than this old hotel in Brussels.

Lovely location very close to the train station but also into central brussels. Staff were nice and explained things, decent size for a couple days stopby, decent amenities provided also. Bed was comfy and little fridge and desk area provided. Would visit again - easily accessible!

Room 202 of this hotel is worst ever room that I ever booked. Overall, I would strongly suggest to find you to a better hotel.

I'm gonna give you an advice : If you want enjoy Brussels ,don't stay in this hotel!!! Probably the worst hotel ever. The pictures show air con, when we arrived at room ,they said it wasn't working, temperatures above 35 degrees and they send to the room one small fan. 2 horrible nights and the location is terrible, the street smels like urine. Never again, never!!

Room was exactly the same as website photo... Clean and warm -under floor heating in bathroom was ideal for drying wet shoes... Staff friendly and helpful... 10 minute walk to Eurostar and generally decent location....

Not so bad small hotel very close to Brussels midi station. Rather quiet. Friendly personnel, good breakfast. NOT for families as a very special so called 'sauna' is next door... just for inexpensive staying for some days in the "capital of Europe".

Good value for money and good service. Rooms were clean and modern. Small small fixes required but overall a good experience. Near the railway station. Not in the city center but walking distance from shops and restaurants.

It’s a ok choice if your only spending the night, as I did. The room is small and the walls are very thin, I could hear everything my neighbours did. On the plus side the staff is friendly and it is very close to the Midi-Zuid station, which is perfect for catching an early train.

For the price (i think we got it at high season), it was okay but I expected better. Location is okay, around 20 minute walk to the city. I know it cant be helped, but huge roadworks in front of the hotel so was a pain getting to and from the hotel walking directly. Okay to spend the night if you are staying next to the station.

Ignore the old postings-considering the challenging location a good value base providing all the essentials for a late arrival/early departure

Location wise it’s close to the station for the train and bus but there’s heavy construction and the walls are paper thin but you get what you pay for and it is considerably cheaper than a lot of other places around here

You get what you pay for. My room was fine, the bed was comfortable and staff pleasant. The rest of the hotel isn’t much but pay more for a better place if that’s what you want.

I liked it, stayed at the top (sixth) floor and is was quiet and clean and location is short walk from the Brussels Midi station. My room had a fridge and had it had an electric kettle and glasses (instead of plastic cups) then I would have given it five stars based on value for money. I would be happy to stay here again.

Reasonably clean for the price, but ruined by the lack of basic amenities. No shampoo for the shower, the pillows and bed are incredibly uncomfortable, no A/C (which is advertised, it's not working) so the hotel is very hot (radiator doesn't actually shut off), and when you open your window to cool down, the street is very noisy and has sirens going off all night. Friendly staff, but not worth the horrible sleep.

The room looked clean at first sight, but when looking for something that fell on the floor, we noticed there hadn't been cleaned under the beds in quite some time. Otherwise, room was okay. Beds were clean. The bathroom looked very new, and was quite big. Corridors and stairs are very narrow, and the ancient elevator is an attraction of its own! Right next to a big gay sauna, which can be a pro or con :) In any case, the night was fairly quiet (very little street noise). Overall, decent price/quality ratio.

Terrible, worst two nights ever, I PAID the room with air conditioning and the A/C wasn't working, the temperature was 35 degrees and the send a tiny fan to cool the room. The area is like a guetto, smells like urine all over. If you wanna enjoy the city, definitely don't stay at this hotel. NEVER AGAIN.

I don't even know where to start. The location of this hotel is good and bad - good in the sense that it is close to the train/airport bus, but bad because it is in a very shady neighborhood. I had a single room and I felt like I was in prison. Everything was so old, ugly, and the window I was supposed to have was actually a window facing another room's bathroom window. Looking out the window, it looks like you're looking into a chimney. For the money I paid, I expected a slightly better room.

The room was clean for the price. Although the location was close to the center (15 minutes walk), the area was rough with all the construction and noise going on put us a bit in shock at first.

Not even recommended to spend 4 hours there. Yes they have rooms available but : no aircon, noisy rooms, cigarette smoke, not disinfected toilets. Unpleasant environment. Unpleasant guests.

The location was easy to find and near the train station midi-zuid. I had booked a room with Aircon but it was not working and jnstead I only had a small fan. It was really hot and I kept the windows open at all times to get a bit of that sweet cool night air but it didn't really reach the room. Instead I heard everything the neighbours did. The walls were very thin and one could hear everything. It woke me up a few times during the night. But the linens were clean, as was the bathroom and the toilet. The small shower could not be closes properly and water splashed into the wood.

The hotel's location is really convenient since its next to the major train station, metro station and bus stations. But at the same time, there is major construction going on in front of the hotel, making the entire area look dirty, stingy and miserable with all dust and mud. Because of the construction, the only walkable road is a narrow uneven pavement which is occupied with cycles and often crowded. The rooms are about average with very basic needs. There is no mirror in the room which was a big disappointment and the only mirror in the room was in the bathroom, so we as a couple had a big discomfort for the entire 2 days we stayed there. We didn't opt for the breakfast, so can't comment on that. The lift is too small for even 2 people with luggage but we were aware of that from the reviews. I will consider this as an average no frills budget hotel with not much expectations in Brussels, easy to consider for a short stay. The neighborhood is good with lots of stores and restaurants for the tourists.
