Very
old
hotel.
Bedside
table
has
broken
glass.
The
washbasin
in
the
bathroom
has
a
very
big
hole.
Only
two
pillows
were
provided,
one
for
each
of
us.
Despite
asking
the
receptionist,
he
only
stated
that
no
extra
pillows
were
available.
The
pillows
are
square,
more
like
sofa
cushions
than
suitable
for
sleeping.
The
staff
struggled
with
English,
requiring
us
to
translate
to
French.
There
is
no
heater
knob,
making
the
room
excessively
hot.
When
the
staff
entered,
they
didn't
bother
to
remove
their
shoes,
displaying
a
lack
of
cleanliness.
The
broken
AC,
heater,
and
absence
of
a
tissue
box
and
room
slippers
were
disappointing.
Basic
amenities
were
lacking,
especially
considering
the
price,
which
is
the
second
most
expensive
among
the
nine
cities
we're
visiting.
In
comparison,
the
hotel
in
Amsterdam
for
the
same
price
was
significantly
better.
Even
hotels
in
Paris
and
Zurich,
which
were
cheaper,
offered
more
than
this
old
hotel
in
Brussels.
