The view from the hotel is nice and from higher floor you can have better view although much of it depends from the weather. The room furniture shows signs of usage quiet a lot. Some sofa cushion cover did not look they have been washed, neither table or carpet. Hotel has a very small gym. Maybe for the number of rooms I would expect a bit bigger gym with at least a squat rack or bench with a barbell. Credit for offering water and apple for quick carbs at the gym. Breakfast restaurant has soothing view, which I really really liked and selection of food was better than in some similar hotels, including various nut butters, pastry and cereals. At the reception you have to wait way too long to get served although stuff is nice.

My partner was there and the staff did not accompany him to his room. He got the wrong room number and had to go back to the lobby where the receptionist did not welcome him with respect and demanded to see his ID again (probably because he looks younger than he is?). We do not appreciate this kind of belittlement. He got the right room number this time. The room was clean and large with a good view, however there were no toothbrush and no toothpaste.

We had a nothing short of fantastic experience. We had the misfortune to get robbed on our way from Midi Station to the hotel. When we arrived at the reception, shocked and distressed, the employees did an amazing job taking care of us and making us feel safe and welcome. They did everything they could to make our visit as pleasant as possible, and several times reached out to us to make sure we were okey. Even except for all of this, it's an amazing hotel that surpassed our every expectation. We'll come back for sure, and we'd recommend it to anyone.

Could not fault it. Good location, friendly staff, good room and great view. I can usually find something not to like but not on this occasion!

I recently stayed at THE HOTEL in Brussels and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was generally clean, though I did notice a small amount of mold in the bathroom. However, the highlight of my stay was the spectacular view from my room. I would recommend future guests to ensure they book a room on a higher floor with a view, as it truly enhances the experience.

This place is great if you want to see Brussels from a different point of view (if you get a room with a view). The deluxe room is nice and make good use of the smaller area. Though also worth mentioning is that the shower and the toilet have their own corner area but both share the same door. Meaning when one is closed the other is open. I gave this place a 4/5 stars because the main selling point for this hotel is the view you get but when I arrived the windows weren't clean from the outside. So that is not the best when taking photos of the landscape while sunrise/sunset.

It is a very high building in perspective I think it is one of the tallest here. Truly a spectacular sight. Hotel is well situated near bars restaurants cafes and lots more. The hotel is very very nice and the staff are very accommodating and friendly throughout my stay. The spa sauna area is truly remarkable and highly relaxing located on the 23rd floor it offers beautiful views of surrounding areas. Food and drinks also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely delightful.

Great location and super comfy room. I got a room on the 9th floor at the corner which was awesome. The bed was so incredibly comfortable; I could have stayed a week!! My only gripe was breakfast seating. It was a busy morning and I know everyone arrives at the same time, but there were no tables available. It was chaos. The staff were no help and I ended up having to share a table with a stranger.

This place was designed exceptionally well. Rooms are comfortable, the building is secure, the views phenomenal. If you are traveling for work get the Panoramic Room as it comes with access to the snack lounge. This lounge is also a quite and productive place to work from. There are plenty of places to plug in your laptop, comfortable seating, snacks, wine, beer, and coffee, for no extra cost. Their estaurant has good food with a number of great health options. If you go for breakfast you will be able to choose sweet, savory, and healthy and unhealthy. The employees are easily their greatest asset. I experienced nothing but attentiveness and care from everyone I met. This hotel is The Hotel for me on my next visit.

    1. Unfriendly staff (borderline rude) 2. Room was dirty when I checked in with bunch of hair and food crumbs all over the sofa and on the bed 3. Furniture was super worn out in the room, not equipped to be in a "luxury" hotel with that price I had such high expectations but had unpleasant experience staying in The Hotel Brussels. Largely due to very unfriendly, borderline rude staff, especially from Reception area. They make paying customer feel like an idiot for asking simple questions and some of them are so unnecessarily aggressive. I haven't experienced customer service from like this in any hotel in any countries. The rooms also needs some upkeep as the sofas in some rooms are all worn out and looking miserable. My first room was dirty with bunch of body hair lying around with food crumbs and sofa in that room was extremely torn. When I called and got a new room, sofa in the new room was also very torn. Please buy some new sofas or fix the existing ones. For a hotel that prides themselves as an "upscale" place, this place needs bunch of improvements. For anyone looking for some nice hotel experience in Brussels, this might not be the best choice for you.

Excellent hotel. 22nd floor, panoramic room has breathtaking views of the city and its landmarks. Extremely clean with a beautiful private lounge on the 24th floor. Breakfast was perfect with an excellent, wide variety of food. The dairy products were out of this world as well as the salmon and bread.

Just spent 4 nights at this amazing hotel, and it was faultless. Was pleasantly surprised with how modern and spacious the rooms were, the cleanliness was impeccable and the staff were really friendly. A short walk of around 20 minutes gets you to the Grand Place and also really easy to hop on a metro back to the main station. Overall I can highly recommend and will definitely return.

Very nice experience at The Hotel. Room was very nice and the view is stunning. Lots of varieties at the breakfast. We had a very good stay with my family. Perfect location everything is walkable within 20min.

The Hotel is in the Center of Brussels and is also one of the highest Building. You got basically everything nearby, Shops , CafΓ©s , Restaurants and more. The Rooms are clean and exquisite. I strongly recommend to visit the Sauna since it's on the 23rd Floor and you got a pretty good view from there on the whole city. The breakfast is good and has a variety of Choices

We were happy about the hotel, esp the nice breakfast restaurant facing a park and the sauna (when it is not too crowded). Location was also great for what we wanted to do - walking distance to many places and two metro stations are a few hundred meters away. We were lucky to get a room where we woke up with a nice sun rise view.

The rooms are very comfortable and the fitness center is nice for a hotel gym. you can get in a good workout. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The room was beautiful, stylish interior and beautiful lighting. The bed was big and comfy (and for the light sleepers: you barely feel movement from your partner) The panorama lounge, gym and spa were all included in the price which was super nice for what we got. Panorama lounge was relaxing, with some nuts and drinks to grab while watching the sunset. The gym was great, not too busy with fresh water and towels and amazing views, and the spa with sauna was also well organised with towels, bathrobes and slippers. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot to choose from. chairs were comfo and nice view at the park. parking is 30€ for 24 hrs. Few minor points: The window was a bit dirty so the view was not as satisfying as with a clean window. Also the room was hot, we put the fan button on but it was still rather on the warm side, especially for sleeping. Also we could hear the water running from shower in the next room. But we didn't hear peoples voices or other noises. And last, or toilet seemed to be leaking a bit. But nothing that ruined the experience, so all together would totally recommend it and 100% would go back there!

Restaurant area is great and breakfast nice. Service was fine. Location and view are great. For the rest it’s overpriced. Shower and toilet tiny and not much privacy. Room has a sort of 80s vibe where everything is cheaper than it looks and furniture is pretty aged. Airco not working adequately and funny odor in the hallways. Also pretty noisy as you hear sounds from other rooms quite well. Parking is ridiculously expensive and you are better off to walk to 2 Portes which is 5 minutes only and cheaper (not cheap).

Stayed here last minute because my Eurostar train was cancelled and had a horrible evening before arriving here. Receptionist was super nice, empathetic and helpful, shame I didn’t get their name! Room is amazing too, beautiful view and location. I will stay here again. Thank you!

We had two days of meetings here and dined in the gold room. I recommend the hotel. Lovely place. Food was okay. Meeting rooms were well equipped.

  • 3/5 Eddy E. 11 months ago on Google
The room is OK, I would describe it as dated. There is a need for new TV's which froze and took over an hour to be repaired following countless calls. The fridge is good, they provide one beer and the rain shower is inside a bath tub and leaks. The bar staff are mostly friendly, one gave me a look up and down and went back to talking to their colleague rather than serving! The view is oretty good but we won't go back.

It has an amazing 360 degree view of the city that gives you a snapshot of everything you might want to visit from the top floor of the hotel. There are many cafes, bakeries around the hotel, You also get to visit the View Bruxelles right behind it. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommended!

It was a wonderful stay. In good proximity to so many attractions and eating spots. We had a great time. I can recommend the corner room. The view is amazing and the way they placed the couch next to the window is perfect for relaxing, having coffee, some Belgian chocolate and enjoying the view.

Excellent. Very high quality. Sweeping views of the city - like the Shard in London. Breakfast is great. Bed, seating and bathrooms is fantastic and comfortable. Integrated ambient lighting. Staff very kind. Gave us free ice cream. The room fridge snacks and wine is complimentary! Top hotel. Easy parking

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and if I return to Brussels would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Thr hotel decor is lovely and service of the staff was exceptional. The rooms were great with the only negatives being the size of the shower and not having a smart TV. The room has a spectacular view and also included a complimentary mini bar. The hotel breakfast could have been better by having more variety as I felt it was quite limited. I was also quite surprised that waffles were not part of the offering. The hotel had a great bar, lovely spa with an incredible view that was free for all guests and is in a perfect location walking distance from many restaurants and sightseeing locations. The Hotel also offers a free sightseeing tour for guests but I was not informed about this and was only made aware of it through one of the guests.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant but unfortunately ended with a bad feeling. I would like to warn the guests about the taxi driver who usually awaits at the hotel entrance. We had to arrive at Charleroi airport at 5 am. This ride was supposed to take between 40 to 45 minutes. I know this because I checked while driving on google maps. From the beginning the driver chose to drive in the opposite direction from the destination just to extend the trip and earn more money using the taxi meter! The ride took exactly an hour even though the roads were empty. The price was accordingly high - 178 euros and only after my husband complained that it was too expensive did the driver lower it to 170, which is at least 20-50 euros more than it should have been. Since we ordered the taxi ride through the hotel, I consider them to be partially responsible for what happened. I would expect them to work with more reliable drivers.

My recent stay at Brussels' 'The Hotel' left me somewhat perplexed, considering the high expectations I had harbored. As a frequent visitor to Brussels for business, I had looked forward to a luxurious and top-of-the-line experience, but the reality fell short. The room I was assigned had clearly seen better days, with chipped paint, dirty curtains, and a disconcerting crack in the door. While the bed was comfortable, and the view of the city was magnificent, the overall state of the room did not match the promised luxury. On the upside, despite my room's unfortunate proximity to the elevators, I was pleasantly surprised that I did not experience any significant noise disturbances. However, the disappointment resurfaced when I ventured to the lobby, where the prices of the drinks were rather high. While the atmosphere was agreeable, it left me with the impression that the hotel may prioritize profits over guest satisfaction. The breakfast offered at 'The Hotel' was a redeeming feature, with a good variety of choices and a plentiful spread. However, this positive aspect was tarnished by the lack of clean plates. Waiting for an extended period for fresh plates detracted from what could have been a seamless and satisfying breakfast experience. In conclusion, 'The Hotel' may offer certain appealing aspects, but it would benefit from a closer look at room maintenance, pricing, and service efficiency to truly live up to its luxurious branding.

Huge hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The dark interior is cool for an evening at the bar but can be depressing. Not having a chance to open a window to let fresh air into your room is a no go...

Get there early, go down and enjoy the bar... Phenomenal whiskey sours! Fun food. Nice, knowledgeable, bartenders/ waitstaff.... full of good local wisdom. Beats the snot out of GOOG, or Firefox, or Int€l

Bar service a disaster. Was in the bar yesterday. After 20 minutes of waiting I went to the bar to order something. Waiter would come to table. Again 10 minutes of waiting. After dinner returned to bar. Same story. Patience and almost beging to order. Service very very slow and cold. Not upto standards for this class and price.

Centrally located, it was one of biggest hotel in city center. Great rooms, good view and breakfast (except fresh fruits or lack thereof) was quite nice. We were there for a meeting and technical setup could have been much better. In one of lunch menu they served meat for vegetarian ravioli option which was a blunder on their part.

Customer service is excellent! And they have a table set up in the lobby with paper bags and tongs. You can self serve yourself chocolate croissants and regular croissants. In the refrigerated section, you can select yogurt, individual cheeses and meats. And waters...gas and no gas are available. Was quite impressed with the selection.

While the hotel is situated in a nice shopping area, I prefer the La Grand Place area better. The room offered a great design, but I didn't care for the bed at all, as I didn't find it comfortable. The staff was super friendly. Overall The Hotel offers very good amenities, and great infrastructure, way above what you see in Europe. I'd recommend it!!ir!! The one picture is in the lobby Area

Rooms are not cleaned with Covid in mind. My room was barely cleaned at best. Had to call for it to be re-cleaned. Bring your own wipes. Rooms are a little too warm. My TV didn't work & had to call for that to be fixed.

The hotel is fantastic, It is located in the center of the city of Brussels and the attention of the staff was very good, the only thing that made our stay uncomfortable was that the room was very cold since it had a broken window and the heating did not work properly.

Came for a quick work trip. Rooms are clean and beds are super comfy. Love when you don’t need to insert your key for lights and such to work. Also loved the automated curtain, the smell of the body wash, and the view! The hotel is located on a street where there are many high end shops. You can walk, or scooter, easily to many nearby attractions. Staff was helpful and kind. The cappuccino on the lobby was great. My only negative was that I feared for my life as I climbed out of the tub/shower, it’s so high! All in all, great place to stay whether you’re coming for one night or longer.

The room was clean and spacious with an amazing view. A few beauty marks on some interior but the view compensated that. Breakfast was really nice and lots of options to choose from. Great service from the staff, I will definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel on a good shopping street and close to the city center. I got a corner room on the 13th floor with a city view. Very clean and really loved the smell in the entrance and corridors. The gym (and sauna) are on the 23rd floor so you can enjoy a workout with a view on the monuments.

Amazing and incredibly helpful staff member went above and beyond including order us a taxi to the station, stopping another couple taking our taxi whilst being apologetic. Room was spacious and clean and the location is central as we found everything within a walking distance.

We loved this hotel. Even though it is a few minutes walk from the city center, there is still plenty of touristy places to go to in the area. The service was very good and the buffet breakfast was great.

  • 4/5 Elout 1 year ago on Google
In response to the question what could be different to become 5 stars. Thinking about it was mainly about the service. Bar closes at 0:00., but already at 2340 not accepting new orders anymore. A big group entered at 2345 and were served, but no service for us at 0:00. When discussed with personnel the response was: "but we announced last call". I am missing the mind-set of delivering beyond expectations and entrepeneurship.

It was very clean but I feel it was over priced. The view was amazing, it just wasn't my style of hotel. The Manager was excellent at resolving an issue that the Head Receptionist wasn't. But I can see why people stay there. Oh and complimentary drinks 1 beer and no wine.

I only stayed for one night but would definitely recommend and come again. Great location, comfortable quiet rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Despite my short stay, I really appreciated the breathtaking view from the higher floors (plus the sound-proofing, I could not hear any road noise at all!).

It was OK. I had a panorama room on the 23rd floor. The room is very practical. Not huge but it has everything you need. Great View. Complimentary minibar and nespresso machine + kettle for tea in the room. Safe for valuables. Free access to panorama lounge on 24th floor where you can have complimentary drinks and snacks. Service in general is OK but room service on Monday was a disaster. They didn't even answer the phone. I had to go down to reception to order my meal. Parking is 35 euros per day.

My partner and I had an incredible stay here. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with warm customer service that was welcomed after our early travel day. The room was very clean, modern, and the view was breathtaking. The Hotel's location is perfect to hop around and explore the city. We felt safe and welcome the entire time - something that I take quite seriously. We cannot wait to return to The Hotel Brussels. There are two photos included from the view of our room for you to enjoy!

The room was very nice, but cold. I was on the 10th floor but there was still a great deal of noise from traffic. Nice bathroom, it is _inside_ the room itself with limited ability to cover up so just for close partners or solo travels I would say. Great gym facilities with an excellent view of the city from the treadmill. Best part of stay.

Superb Location, close to every attraction Room had no heat at all and ended up with a bad Flu. Restaurant staff very full of them, ignoring the people with no expensive clothes and the one of the manager was even worst. Parking not that expensive but not to give the chance to leave the car park and come back whenever you want it is a bit wierd for the hotel guest. As the location is very good, a bit more attention on all guests not just on "well dressed" ones would not kill anyone. Also a bit more compassion with the guests would not kill the staff. Thank you.
