The
location
is
good,
near
a
very
hip
area
of
Brussels
(Louise/
Chatelain).
If
you're
in
Brussels
for
fun
and/or
shopping,
you'll
like
it
here.
The
room
and
bathroom
are
clean.
The
staff
is
friendly,
and
the
price
is
quite
good
for
the
area.
Well,
most
of
the
time,
at
least;
sometimes
hotels
in
Brussels
are
crazy
expensive
everywhere,
during
completely
random
times
of
the
year.
Anyway...
There's
a
strange
vibe
in
this
hotel.
Hard
to
explain,
but
I'll
try
before
you
label
me
a
Karen.
-
The
building
wasn't
built
to
be
a
hotel,
and
it
shows:
the
narrow
tall
stairs
are
difficult
to
use
(I
take
the
stairs
whenever
I
can),
which
could
be
problematic
for
evacuation
in
case
of
a
fire
or
another
emergency.
-
The
layout
of
the
hotel
is
complicated.
I
am
the
first
to
admit
I'm
not
the
best
person
when
it
comes
to
directions,
but
this
is
not
about
getting
lost;
it's
just...
complicated,
cramped
and
twisted.
From
the
moment
you
get
off
the
elevator
(it
has
automatic
doors,
but
there
is
also
a
manually-operated
door,
which
took
me
a
bit
to
realise
I
am
supposed
to
do
something
about
it)
and
until
you
get
into
your
room.
-
It
is
dark
(no,
the
electricity
works
fine).
I
know
this
is
Brussels,
but
this
is
*dark*.
The
very
thick
ceiling-to-floor
curtains
don't
help,
either.
And
I
guess
they're
like
that
to
cover
other
issues
with
the
building:
the
windows
and
the
facade
walls
are
old
and
in
a
bad,
unkempt
state.
Still.
It's
a
decent
place
to
stay
if
you
take
everything
into
account.
Unless
you're
a
superficial
bat
or
an
unpicky
emo,
in
which
case
it's
5*
easily.
I'm
neither,
so
I
might
stay
here
again
if
the
price
is
good.
