Unfortunately nothing has really improved ever since, you can see the discomfort of a lot of animals, which are literally squished into the cage. Everything is looking dirty and grass is almost brown. I think they have to be honest here and just close it down and transfer the animals to a better place. There are many zoos in the neighborhood which are so much better.. (Pairi Daiza, Beekse Bergen,...)

My first time and im happy... very very recomended.. Parking is gratis. and during this time until 5 September there is attraction start from 3PM. Pakawi park is not the newest of zoos but they have a great collection of big and smaller cats and exotic birds many I hadn't seen elsewhere. Also there are great viewpoints onto the brown bears, wolves and the giraffes in the savanna.
