I do understand they need to make money but they told me to not block a table with my laptop but the place was empty (See pic). I spent more than 10€ for a breakfast and had plan to eat there for lunch. But since I received that remark I ask to stay a bit more in a corner to not "bother them" with my laptop then I left and ate somewhere else. - They cut the wifi on purpose to avoid poeple working there - They put loud music for the same reason - No laptop are forbidden for... same reason as well Guys it's time to stop creating dummy problem and try to solve yours by proposing a proper service to you customers. How much am I supposed to pay to stay there? I can find coworking place from 25€/day in Brussels with proper wifi, security for laptop et sometime even good free coffee. You just lost a regular customer today, I may will come with some friends in the brunch time on Sundays and take 1 expresso for five people and keep some table busy. See where is the problem here?? Very disappointed!

Good looking cafe. Very cozy place with great looking sandwiches. Also there are a lot of cozy spot to sit on and enjoy your coffee and even work at your laptop.

Overpriced and why is Take away so much cheaper? Like they dont want us to sit There. But french Toast was apparently good.

So happy I didn’t check the reviews on google before going inside. It’s a lovely place, staff is extremely polite and sweet. Delicious food. We really enjoyed our Sunday here. Music was good, not disturbing at all. It is a great spot to work. Will be back for sure!!!

Not a place to study, if you bring your computer, they would passive aggressively ask you to leave. I came here today with my friend to have lunch and study. We arrived at 12.20. We waited for our food and coffee. After we were done eating, We started studying. My friend asked for the wifi password, which is "welovemakingcoffee". Around 13.50 a waiter came over to ask us to turn off our computers due to their policy. Funny thing is that their policy was stated on a board next to Kasa, and it said " no laptop between 11.00AM and 2PM". She came over to tell us about the policy after 1hour we spent studying and just 10 minutes before their policy ends. They did not ask us to buy something else or move to another side. But they did TURN OFF THE WIFI!!! It is 14.30 now, and the wifi is still off. My friend went to ask about it, and they admitted that they turned it off. This is passive-aggressive, and I don't understand the logic. I was here 3 weeks ago and there were many people studying. This is not a friendly service. They should either change their policy or implement it better. The bagel was nice, the coffee was okay.

Very poor experience with poor/unhospitable service. Very strange for a cafe not to offer wifi in 2022. I was refused a glass of tap water without any explanation (it seems to be a policy, even if i paid 5 euro for a drink). To add, i received the wrong drink (decided not to complain). Music too loud. 2 stars only because of nice interior.. there are better places around so i wont go back.

I was looking for a café to work and I saw a recommendation online, so I decided to visit. The tables are a bit too low to work comfortably for hours, but I liked it as a café. I had a sandwitch and a mint tea, both were tasty. They offer vegetarian dishes. The interior is modern and stylish, there are a lot of tables and seats. They have sockets and secure internet connection. The bathroom was well-kept and clean.

More than 30 min queuing at the counter on cold Sunday afternoon. My coffee and my soup were good and well served, but the bowl was chipped (see pic). Dirty tables with dirty stuff on them from previous clients. Music loud and it was impossible to chat with my friend. Clearly, more staff is needed. They are overloaded. Not coming back.

Is this kind of place where you will find lots of people with their laptops spending hours in the place with one single expreso. If you are lucky enough to find a place to seat, then you will enjoy the nice coffee, pastries and cakes. Truly recommend for a nice Instagram picture. ;)

We have been here for many time with different friend groups and usually had a good experience. We have been there to sit and we have also gotten things to-go before. Once we have gotten bagels to-go and eaten it inside which was unlikely for us but we had a change of schedule so we just sat inside and didn’t think much of it. Mind you we have been to this cafe multiple times before. Today when we have gotten bagels on our lunch break the cafe was mostly empty and we have paid and recieved our to-go bagels, when we decided we have a little time we sat OUTSIDE in order to eat a bit before our next class. The manager who remembered us from the time before came out and said we couldn’t eat out to-go purches on the outside tables. We have been coming here for most of our breaks and gatherings for coffee or the baked goods but this was unusual for us since we have had sit inside and paid for the services before many many times. It just felt unnecessary and uncomfortable to receive this behavior.

If it weren’t for the JAT, my productivity would have been way down. Excellent coffee, great service. Great music that blocks out the young ladies’ chatter. Not cheap, but then again WiFi is good. Free refill if you wear tattoos on both your arms. Yakuza style...kidding. Great place. Great coffee!

Very nice place to have a chat and good coffee! They've vegan and lactose free options too. However, I wouldn't recommend it to work/study, the music was way too loud unfortunately... But pretty nice overall!

The staff is their best asset; Kind and polite. Music selection is good but is too loud! So don’t plan to have any meeting there. The internet stops working suddenly and that’s weird as I’ve been coming here often and out of the blue my computer does not have access to internet? Something is wrong and not with my computer. The owner trying to cut off the data consumption maybe? Definitely not the best place for a working day. Try out something else like Poz café or the cafeteria in JAM hotel (just in front)

1 euro supplement for OatMilk ... Not even Starbucks cheats you this much. If you are lactose intolerant be ready to pay for your illness. Nice place tho.

Seriously... we intended to explore various cafes as much as possible during our trip to Brussels! However, after having the first breakfast here, we found ourselves there every morning. It turned out to be one of the best! The atmosphere is very friendly, and the colleagues working there, despite being under stress, never showed us unfriendly faces. This is one of the places we will revisit every time we travel to Belgium!

Nice selection of coffee, tea, and cold juices. Savory breakfast items are delicious but skip the pastries (croissants and the likes) as they are not fresh from the day.

Costumers are not allowed to use laptops on weekends between (11-2). 10 mins before 2 one of the waitresses comes to us to inform us that we’re not allowed to have our laptops open. When we said in 10 mins we’re allowed to do so, she turns off the whole wifi internet. Didn’t feel welcoming and professional at all.

Extremely overpriced for an average quality coffee. Non-dairy milk for an extra 1€ is ridiculous. Very loud music at all times, that doesn’t only let you work there but also prevents you from hearing your own thoughts because it’s so loud.

Still love this place. Without a doubt best way to start your Saturday morning. No nonsense good tasty food. Not a big coffee drinker, but the coffee is AMAZING. Top music, top music selection. Following my optimistic review, the music was really loud and not good gor a Sunday. Its Sunday and a coffee place not a night bar.

The worst cafe service I have ever seen. They made an error 3 times with the payment. Very presumptuous and aggressive. They dont let you bring your computer. Worst customer service. Made me pay extra because I wanted to eat my food seated. They dont speak english. Food is tasteless, expensive. Bread not well baked.

Trendy, not so quiet, not so noisy. JAT is a modern cafe with good food, confortable spaces, you can use your laptop (not at lunch hours please). Lots of coffe options, soft drinks, teas, muffins, deserts. A nice place to relax and have some warm beverages in a cold day. If you manage to, grab a cushion and relax. Suggestion: vanilla frappe!

We went there for brunch. The food was good. But it took them a long time to prepare it. The espresso I had was a bit too sour and the music was a bit too loud for my tastes

I like it here and have been many times however I cannot get my baby's stroller into the toilets so the staff had to watch her for me one time as I could not wait till I got home . The music is a tad too loud and the food could do with a little more variety also but I will definitely return again.

Coffee, cake all fine but definitely not a place to work - the wifi is not functioning AT ALL and music way to loud. Thankfully I just had to make a stop between meetings. Learned my lesson.

I would give it 5 if it had Wifi. The place is super nice, chill music, TONS of plugs, pillows, seems like the perfect cafe for working. They set it up that way. So when they told me there was no wifi i was shocked!! It makes no sense to set up the perfect place to work and then not have WiFi.

Nice place to chill with friends to take some drinks and get some foods to relax, cozy and comfortable seats, plug are available for your electrical equipments charger…closed at 6pm

Always nice. Our regular haunt for working from cafe. Large open space, electric charging points everywhere, oke-ish wifi and nice coffee and cakes. Music can get a little loud so don’t plan to take meetings here unless you plan to stay on mute most of the time.

3 years ago, you couldn’t find a decent coffee place in the ‘hood. Now, they’re on top of each other - literally less than 100m apart; Hinterland, Parlor Coffee, Poz Cafe ..even the Donut shop (yum) And now there’s JAT with its laid back, hipster vibe. The new kid on the block that’s buzzing. The sleepy ‘hood’s finally coming to life.

You want a good coffee, nice couch, not so bad music to work with your laptop in the area? That's the place to be. I can stay for hours with one coffee and keep working, they let you do it!

Nice cafe. But doing breakfast for a hotel on your own is a bit much perhaps :(
