This is a very nice épicerie/store with some really lovely produce. Sadly the customer service today was absolutely abhorrent. After happily paying €28 for some bags of pasta, pesto, tomato sauce and granola, as I was ready to leave the store and bid farewell to the checkout attendant, she asked me whether I was taking the basket I had put the produce into while shopping. I said no, not aware that taking the basket was even an option. She told me she had charged me for the basket. Inadvertently. No problem for me, no need for drama. Except this lady decided to be utterly nasty about it. I - the one who had been overcharged after all - could have been the one annoyed, yet I was not. Mistakes happen, no big deal. However, she very aggressively kept repeating how "embêtant" it was for her that she would need to reimburse me. A perfectly nice shopping experience destroyed, all goodwill obliterated, because this woman felt that the natural response to a small mixup was to be absolutely horrible. I asked her (very politely) a few times why it was so "embêtant" for her. This annoyed her even more. The irony of the whole thing was that she was literally having an argument with herself. I did not complain at being overcharged, I was perfectly nice and calm throughout, yet she decided to be nasty to a customer who had just gone out of his way to spend €28 (well €23 after the reimbursement) in a small, local business. She pointed out that there was some sign explaining something or other about the baskets - that I should have known how the system worked. My bad - I didn't see the sign, it was quite small to be fair. A perfectly nice shopping experience destroyed. This was my third time in this store in the past year, I always drop in when cycling around Watermael-Boitsfort. Never again. I never write Google reviews, but am not content to let this woman away with her dreadful behaviour. My only regret is not dumping all my shopping out on the counter and asking for a full refund, but then the trip to the store would have been a complete waste of time. Le Canard Sauvage, you've just lost one happy customer - for absolutely no reason.

Le Canard offers a cosy concept resto/bar with excellent local dishes, drinks and a communal library to boot. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Highly recommended.

While on the door it is written non-stop cuisine from Monday to Friday, they said the kitchen was closed (it was 15.00). Substandard quality for the food, no customer service : they made us wait forever first to get our drinks, then to get our food and finally, also for the bill. Not coming back.

The location and atmosphere are nice but the service is terrible. We sat down for a quick coffee and the table had still not been cleaned and was not cleaned until we had finished our drinks. It took 20 mins to get the attention of any of the workers to order and once we did order it took 30 mins for 3 coffees. Highly recommend to not come here if u value good service.

Despite beautiful Interior , the food and service was the worst I have experienced in Brusssels. Soup cold, main plates forgot about for an hour, flat white was actually a double espresso (I explained what it should be, but they couldn't do this......). They forgot to charge us for an item and after an entire wasted afternoon waiting to be fed substandard food, they got into a row with us over this. Truly remarkable concept of what customer service should be. A real shame as canard sauvage was great, but le canard is to be entirely avoided.

Brussels, @watermael boitsfort. Nice ambiance. It is very close to ISB , so you can see many parents there speaking English. Not small, there are also places to work with your laptop. Service is quick. I just had a coffee, and nice. There is a big park for walking close to here.

They complained when I asked for a glass of water after a coffee. CORRECTION: They complained when I asked for two glasses of water per person. 🤣🤣🤣

It’s so ridicules that the stuff don’t speak English,(only the manager) and they don’s sell bread after 4 o’clock pm. the stuff usually it’s not busy and they are smoking cigarettes outside most of the time,

Very friendly staff, a warm and family friendly place with toys for children. The food was very nice however children would struggle to find their favourites on the menu.

Me and my husband call it “our cafe” 😂 because it completely feels like home. We know the owners from the time they’ve opened this cozy space. Super child friendly. Close to the most beautiful park and big forest. Totally advise to take a hike and enjoy warm tisane or brunch 👍

Amazing coffee and “to die for” chocolate chip cookies! Beautifully decorated, bio and perfect place to stop after a long forest walk!

Revamped menu offers great variety, all our dishes were polished off. Appreciate the kids menu, thank you!
