A cozy place with a nice interior and served food 😍 In my opinion, the perfect place for breakfast in Brussels where you can work at the same time. PLUSES: ✅ Free Wi-Fi (password: flatwhite) ✅ Great coffee/tea ✅ Fresh and delicious desserts, bowls ✅ Bookshelf "guides to different countries ✅ Upholstered sofas with cushions ✅ Polite staff MINUSES: - I didn't notice any minuses in particular. Purely in my case, the pancakes was served immediately, but the coffee we had to wait (when half of the pancake was already eaten), but taking into account that there were a lot of people.

Cafe de la Presse is a lively, cozy café with great quality beverages and café food nearby Bois de la Cambre. Besides the delicious coffees and food (sandwiches, toasts, bagels, etc) the café is also open on a Sunday when most places are closed. Plus, although you’re in fancy Avenue Louise prices are quite good (most coffees, without extras, cost less than 4€). There is usually a small queue at the entrance which is to be expected given what mentioned above and worth the wait. People know this is a good hanging spot. Even though it gets busy the staff always welcome you with a smile.

I'm against unnecessary waste and all but you can't have an avocado that ripe going out of a restaurant kitchen. The orange juice is watered, you'd better serve smaller glasses with pure orange juice. The salmon and creamcheese, pancakes and coffee were good though. But this place suffers from too little competition around, slow service, high prices average quality ☹️ it was better before and now I'm not sure if I'll come back. Please pay attention to your reviews

Come here for a casual all day brunch, bagels, toast or your preferred cake and delicious coffee. Expect a wait before ordering at the counter, seating can be cosy, very cosy. This place has been around when the rest of Brussels still served Senseo in a plastic cup as coffee to go and deserves credit just for that - but still punches at the top. When in the area you might also consider Kiosque in the park, chyl, holy bagel or ötap (on Sundays)

This is the first time I am not sure about the stars I should to give to a cafe/restaurant. Long queue to order and pay, but friendly staff. Long time waiting for our brunch and drinks, but nice and tasty dishes. But, but, but.... It was sooooo noisy I did not like it at all! When we went out of the cafe I could feel such a terrible sobre throat and noticed I had been forcing my voice so much. Honestly, I have my doubts I will come back here again.

Used to love coming here to get a few coffees and do some work in the afternoon. The last time I went I had just finished my (quite expensive) coffee and was told to leave because I had a laptop with me and wasn’t allowed to be there on my laptop during three separate time slots per day. I wrote them a message about how upsetting it was to be kicked out of a cafe within ten minutes of sitting down but they left me on read. Won’t be coming back.

This is a very nice place for studying eating dating, the food and coffee is very delicious and not so expensive, but it is always crowded.

One smoothie was warm and the other cold, it seemed that one of them wasn’t made freshly. The food was okay. The room is huge but super loud.

Very cool café in a nice neighbourhood of Brussels. The coffee was super good. We didn't eat but all the food looked very delicious.

The coffee is okay but not the specialty grade so don’t have any high hopes. The food and pastries are good, the staff members are really lovely and they take meal vouchers, which is a big bonus. However, if you want to work from here come early because it gets so busy and full you might not find a sit after waiting in line for your coffee and the place gets very loud, so don’t forget headphones.

Really delicious brunch with coffee and fresh juice included. The atmosphere is chilled and the cafe is by many used as a nice working space.

Coffee was really good, honestly definitely above Italian standard where coffee is believed to be good but isn’t. Pancakes were very good as well. Everything is a bit overpriced but so are supermarket and food around here.

Cozy cafe with charm. Loved the decoration. The food was also very tasty and filling.

It's a good coffee place in a very premium part of the city. That makes the bill be a bit higher and also consider those factors make it a very busy place. To sit and spend an hour or so speaking over a cup would be great but avoid this place if you are in a hurry and just want to pick up a quick cup on the way.

It’s very a cozy place with a nice outside dining. However, it’s kinda overpriced and the portions aren’t that big for the price. The stuff is really welcoming and friendly, they assist u with tables issues and etc. in general, this is a good place with a big variety of foods and unusual drinks (like golden late), but not a hot spot.

Decent coffees, and good flat whites for a quick fix. I would love to see more variety in the pastries with some vegan/gf options - hoping that by regularly asking the waiters if their tasty-looking banana bread is plant-based, I'll see it one day come true..!

  • 4/5 Ricardo A. 10 months ago on Google
Very good! But sometimes they run out of ingredients by lunchtime on Sundays : ( Also the should adopt the ‘no laptops’ rule on tables.. people always get installed for hours just with one coffee..

  • 2/5 Evelien M. 7 months ago on Google
I had the sandwich of the month (roast beef) which was a little bit boring - literally just red spread with beef. So also quite overpriced compared to the other options. Also, you have to order food at the bar and queues were quite long, so service wise not ideal. Maybe it’s better at other times of the week. The chai latte was good. The juice quite warm (bit disappointing for a hot summer day)

Food was great and staff very friendly. However, I had to wait too long every time I was there, even if I only ordered one simple drink. Also not the best place to relax and have some quiet time since it is always very full and loud

Very weird and sweet „ice tea”. Tastes like water mixed with some purple sugar sirup, I was very surprised when I received my order. Edit:It should be mentioned somewhere that it's a "blue tea" because not everyone likes such things, and personally I expected a black tea, not something blue and sweet not tasting like tea ;)

This is a fabulous little café, indoor and outdoors in Louise avenue. Old fashion, vintage style Café with an interesting collection of all-day menu from freshly baked croissants to smoothie bowls, lunch and fresh drinks. Café de la Presse has pridefully earned a spot in many coffee and brunch lovers’ hearts. Diverse and multi-generational, it is a friendly place where people like to meet up. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious.

Digital nomad workplace. Very noisy and coffee is not that good. I can appreciate that almost all people there were working on their laptops. In the moment your coffee is done, a waiter will take it off your table and ask if you want or need anything else.

You will feel discriminated against as a remote worker on weekends because laptops are banned. Edit: 1. I understand that you assume all people with laptops are unsociable and I think it's a misconception. 2. Thank you for lecturing me on the use of the word "discriminated", it's not like I have an education.

Cool brunch place. Cool vibes, great food and drinks. Always a pleasure to come and take our time in the weekend. The delivery is ok but the eggs don’t arrive with the right texture.

So inspiring!!! The place is super well located, the atmosphere inside is cozy and the flavor of my chai latte was delicious. Computers cannot be used on the weekends because it gets very busy, people line up to have coffee here. 10/5 stars!

Steaming and strong cappuccino alongside crispy bagel with salmon and cheese or refreshing orange juice with blueberry toast? Whatever you take, it’s a killer. You can work here even in zoom with a perfect long-lasting connection, meet your close ones and make new friends. The atmosphere is the warmest in the city. Just love this place❤️

Great Brunch and really delicious coffee.

  • 3/5 Ingrid van L. 2 years ago on Google
Great coffee, but inedible avocado toast. The mashed avocado could not have been pure avocado - it tasted as if they had added 50% flour or potato.

  • 2/5 Yenlik T. 2 years ago on Google
It's a great place but orders are served wayy to long. Everytime I stop by I know that even a coffee to go would take forever. Not to speak about the salmon toast today that took half an hour. That is the reason there's always a huge line and the queue is so slow.

  • 5/5 Paul M. 1 year ago on Google
Great place to work, people watch, chill. Logically - busy. I didn’t try their food or many drinks but their dirty chai - chai with a shot of coffee and milk - is fantastic. The place has lots of natural light & staff - despite the rush - is nice.

Awesome atmosphere, laptop friendly (sockets!), delicious coffee, and friendly staff!

  • 5/5 AP H. 2 years ago on Google
I love this place, the food and the atmosphere. Despite of the name, it is not a place for coffee only, so if you wanna a quite place for having a coffee and working on your computer, that is not the place. Notebooks are inclusive prohibited at some times.

  • 3/5 Bomee L. 1 year ago on Google
It’s the kind of place you want to return to for the ambience drinks and food. But please never again make me serve the order myself. Your standard service is to bring the order to the table. Provide the same service to everyone please or change completely the rule. Although It was dangerous to carry a big coffee and food and spoons all at once.

We really appreciated our lunch/brunch there. The meal was delicious and the quantity more than enough. We will definitely come back! The waitress were very nice and kind.

Good coffee and very nice sweet and salty options. You should try their pralina cake, it was delicious, it seemed like homemade and it was fresh 😊. Staff was polite and helpful. They have also fredo cappuccino which is nice especially during the warms days in Brussels.

Ocean bowl is a treat for the eyes and gut. Comforting blue and refreshing coconut flavour. Generous portions and healthy food. Cosy seating but may need some luck getting a seat because it seem very popular (i.e. crowded).

I will give 3 as is good coffee fresh food good service and looks very busy is a good place. Down side very busy in the morning and no that much space to walk in side Do I recommend it I think not need to as always busy Do I return may do.?

This is one of the best Coffee spots in Brussels, the coffee is very good, most of the employees are amazing, the croissants are very good and overall all the food, the sandwiches, are very good. The atmosphere is very good, a lot of people most of the time (some may not like it, and many times there is a waiting line, but advances pretty fast normally), so we keep going there very often.

👍👍 Amazing food, one of the best Eggs Benedict I ever had.
