Great little spot to stop for a beer or champagne and have some fresh seafood (oysters the go) and watch Brussels go buy.

Nice place, kind staff and good atmosphere! Short and delicious menu to enjoy a breakfast, brunch or lunch, appetizers, spirits, coffee,…and most important; be relaxed in the heart of Sablon. Super recommended!!!

This is an amazing bar with really good food! They have nice drinks and a good variety of beer. Then they have amazing little snacks to combine. Fresh oysters are available too. We had Croquettes, Fricandelle and some Ham with Cheese. Everything was just fantastic! The staff was also very friendly. The location is a little bit narrow but we really liked the atmosphere. They also have a quite big terrace in front of it.

Upon arriving I had immediate interest in not only the beer and waffles, or chocolate, but for the burgers as well. The expectations were tethered by the idea that many of the best burgers were in the United States. Only one other person of the group ordered food, and it was a grilled cheese. Simple. It was a quick stop before continuing our exploration. Chez would be our first restaurant in lovely Belgium, and my first of Europe. It did not disappoint. The establishment alone, like others here, was welcoming, had an open area outside, gave a cozy feel inside, and followed the European aesthetic the rest of the world believes all of Europe to have. The workers are relaxed and very helpful. When presented our food I was already curious into what the hamburger would offer. Initially, it was too different for me to enjoy, however it did not lack character, and was not of bad taste. Throughout the meal I started picking up small things added to the burger, and the way the burger was cooked itself. For an average American eater, such as myself, the texture may be off putting at first. This should not deter you. That burger is one of the best I have ever had! The water in Europe just looks cool. As far as the grilled cheese, it was delicious, but does not bring out anything out of the ordinary. I mean, it is just a grilled cheese with ham. Still, that did not take away the experience of the burger. A recommended stop for a quick bite to eat.

The service was great, very accommodating as we spoke English. The highlight for me was the fresh bread- amazing, got another basket full at the end and they let us take it to go. If we could go again we would! Pastry was flakey and delicious also!

Often go there on weekends. Nice place, good crowd, good for brunch or small bites. It’s a small place and gets crowded on the weekends.

Excellent cafe experience with delicious food and a great view! Had an excellent latte and pastry, bacon and eggs was fantastic. Even came with a delicious complementary sourdough. Would stop by again!

This Parisian style place is decorated very elegantly. I had a lemonade that was too sweet to my taste (that is not hard) but very nice chicken with wasabi mayonnaise. My waiter was very smiling and kind. You’ll find a photo boot upstairs.

Very nice place with an outside terrace, and a small but very good snacks menu in the weekend. Super friendly staff.

We ordered 2 marocchinos which was not on the menu. You steam up a cup, sprinkle cocoa on the inside and then prepare a mini cappuccino. They did it and it was well done. Respect.

Sehr nettes kleines Bistro. Gutes Frühstück, wunderbares Brot. Angemessener Preis. Wirklich sehr netter und freundlicher Kellner.

Staff are friendly and the location is great. Not super high prices either given the area. However I can’t look past that I waited 20 mins for a coffee.

Visited several times, they have good choice of alcohol and nice atmosphere.. but last time we were shocked by one action of waiter … we have ordered two fries and after first one was finished, girl-waiter came to take away empty one and just threw up the rest of the fries from empty plate to full one which I was eating still… I thought she want to take away both, but no, she just took one and went away… sorry it is unexceptionable

Such a great restaurant. Too bad it is in the worst city in Europe. If I ever come back to the hell hole that is Brussels I will come back to this place. But I hope to never return here again.

Nice and lively environment, friendly staff, good apero place. Prices are relatively high but that is usual for BXL and Sablon area. Unfortunately there were no oysters available. However, the shrimp croquette was delicious.

Wow A place where you can have a Bicky Burger and natural wine at the same time. The staff was so hospitable, that we had the feeling that they would’ve let us sleep there. For the crevette croquette (wow) I wasn’t vegetarian for 5 minutes Merci!!! 👍

A very good espresso and a delicious caffè latte! I am giving 3 stars because I showed a picture with what I wanted to eat (2 sandwiches, one egg and some salad) and they gave me only 2 eggs with butter…and the lady who works here doesn’t know english very good.

Brunch at Chez Richard was a memorable experience. Each and every item we ordered was garnished beautifully and presented with style. Tea, coffee, omelets, crepes, granola yogurt, dessert, all exceptional👍🏻👍🏻

Horrible place. So called “owners” claim your place when they come late at night and start harassing and then manhandling you (literally!) when you don’t move soon enough to their taste. They want to sit under the heaters and you (a customer) must move away... Personnel sees them harassing you, shouting at you and manhandling you and does nothing… How to lose customers in 3 minutes hahaha. What a joke of a place.

I was having a nice drink outside and then the so called owner demanded that I moved away to a place away from the heated terrace because he wanted to sit with a group of people on my place. Flabbergasted, horrible experience, avoid!

👍👍 Amazing food, one of the best Eggs Benedict I ever had. This location is really crowded due to being in a city centre, but the service is fast and we got out food in less than 15 minutes. 2 things to be aware of: - their signature sauce is really spicy - fries are coated with rosemary (it can be ove...

👍👍 Easily the best waffles I've had so far. There are 2 options, Liege or Brussels. I suggest you try both. The Brussels waffle has a crunchy crust and a nice soft and airy interior. The Liege waffle has a softer still crunchy crust and a denser interior. Highly suggest eating here!
