Boy was there a long line even on a weekday, but the ice cream was well worth it. We worried we wouldn’t get any as each ice cream flavour was progressively scratched off the board while we waited in line, but all is well as we secured some.

Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had!! The owner is Italian and they made the gelato there! Very nice and kind. They serve the ice cream with a big smile 😊 Very happy to find this place in Brussels

Nice gelato dessert bar. A little out of the city center but worth the walk for the gelato!

Great stop for a refreshing gelato in downtown Brussels. There are plenty of flavors and the gelato is great. There are a few tables inside and some outside with a view of the nearby square.

I heard great things about this place and was badly disappointed. Being Italian I am spoiled, but even so: not great gelato (watery, bland flavour, too sugary), minuscule portions, and high price. Who ever heard of paying extra for a standard cone?!?!

The ice cream is excellent. I’ve particularly loved Tiramisù flavor (which was just like the dessert itself, with pieces of Savoiardi inside) and the chocolate sorbet, since the flavor of chocolate was so intense and dark. Crema Vespucci very good as well. I didn’t ask for it at the beginning since I thought it was an ice cream flavour, but it was not written on the list when we arrived there. Eventually, the waiter told us that it is not included among the ice creams, they sell it in separate mini glasses (you can find it in the fridge). For what concerns the service, the guy is very nice and kind! He was keen to know the opinion of all his customers, he truly cares about the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the products. Only remark: it is a little expensive. But ice cream in Brussels does cost a lot in general (I can’t understand why...), so at least this is a good one!! Will go back very often in the summertime :) Consigliatissimi i gusti tiramisù e sorbetto al cioccolato! Posizione ottima, prezzi purtroppo in linea con Bruxelles, servizio ottimo e cordiale

Average ice cream. I would say good. I know know why it’s so overrated as 4.7. Not being critical but I visited with so much hope, but my expeditions were not met. Pistachio is good but not great, the take away packaging is not good. Good space to sit outside. I would give 3.5 stars.

After a vegan lunch at Lil BAO, we were craving for some vegan ice cream or sorbet. In Brussels, the logical choice is to come to Bargello, and we had the best ice experience since last time. Their strawberry, lemon, and mango sorbet is the BEST 🤩🤩

Fantastic Italian gelato! Best in Belgium! They also have shops in Luxembourg. Big choice of flavours. And they are very generous with portions.

This was close to our hotel, so we stopped there on a Saturday evening. It was so good, I stopped again the following day before my flight home. Flavors are natural, and the waffles are perfect. I can highly recommend the stracciatella and pistachio. Lemon sorbet was also very nice. It's a bit pricey (€3,50 for one scoop/€5,50 for 2 scoops) but it is top quality ice cream, and the scoops were generous.

I am a big fan of Bargello. Lately I got a bit disappointed. 5,50 for an ice cream is expensive, but for good quality I am willing to pay the price. But the scoops are starting to become smaller and smaller. Before you got a nice scoop now they seem like half scoops.

According to a gelato expert: "An outstanding range of flavours delivered by friendly and helpful staff. The quality shows through in the texture and strength of flavours plus the selection of vegan options is really good. However I had the salted caramel that was a little over-sweet and lacked the saltiness to balance it. Despite that this is a top notch place selling amazing, authentic gelato which is exemplified by its popularity, it was so good I went back and got another one! . P.s the cones are really good too"

I have tasted it for more than two times. I went here with my friend. It is great ice cream!

the ice cream are very tasty, unfortunately the size of the ball …well …. Scandalous. I've been there several times and each time the amount is smaller but this ... it's unacceptable, not for 3.5€ !!!! The stuff told me they have own standards. Well … no thank you for this micro standard ball… Maybe I had bad luck that day but it was my last time.

I'm really not sure why this place has so few reviews if I'm honest? Popped in here mid afternoon a few weeks back. The place is beautifully done, ice cream / coffee shop with seating to one side. You're welcomed to try a few ice cream flavours before making the plunge and purchasing your favourites. The chocolate is apparently one of their best sellers, and for good reason, the richness of the chocolate is amazing. Great friendly and extremely helpful staff, a pleasant place to have a little rest from being a tourist.

Severely overpriced ice cream, although it is pretty good. In Italy it costs half for the same size and I don't think inflation and the current crisis justifies such a huge rise in price. If I saw these prices in Italy, I'd prepare for the great depression. I get that food in Brussels costs quite a lot, and they keep increasing every couple months, but this is kinda ridiculous.

Celiac friendly with no worries, they have gluten free cones and will sanitize their hands and utensils before serving the ice cream, which was absolutely incredible!

The Italian ice creams are perfect. They have a lot of variety. I personally recommend the one of pistachio and nocciola 💚

Definitely my top 3 ice cream places in Brussels - you cannot go wrong in what you pick - from the gelatos to the sorbets, the quality is just fantastic I would recommend Crema Bargello, Toscana or the Strawberry Orange Sorbet. The staff is very friendly and the place is open until 23h in the summer 7x7

At the brink of losing hope of finding good ice cream in Brussels, emerges Bargello to save the day. In true Italian gelato fashion, the flavors are extremely tasty and made with real ingredients. They also have daily flavors that are always different mixes. A must try!

After a long working day, I really enjoyed my visit to Bargello. I didn't know what flavour to choose so Alba and Meryem tried to help in such a way that I finnaly bought a box of three sorbets: strawerry, mango and mojito. If I had to improve something, I'd say the the temperature inside. In spite of it, Alba and Meryem gave away their charming smile to all customers. Thanks a lot!

Happy to return here for the first time in a year or so - we made an impromptu decision for ice cream in the rain! I started coming here pre-pandemic when they advertised their vegan ice cream and sorbets, and I'm glad to know I'll always be able to pop in and have something nice. My friends had the (non-vegan) pistachio and were also happy. Update June 2022: I've been again and still fab. Today I was happy for a couple of extra vegan flavours, such as banana. There was a queue but it moved quickly. I was endeared also by the two or three dozen firefighters stopping for a cornet! :D

One of the best (if not the best) ice cream shops in Brussels. Highly recommended. Be prepared to wait in a line on a sunny day.

I was looking for the best ice cream place in Brussels, so i found Glacier Bargello on during my research. The setup was really nice, u can sit outside with a small garden view or inside. I tried sorbet strawberry orange one of the place speciality and it was so refreshing and it was so tasty that i would definitely recommend the place. I tried as well the sorbet dark chocolat and it felt like i was actually a chocolat.

the ice cream is very good, however the two girls at the counter are not the best of kindness, very cold, not very service oriented and also quite hasty. for a milkshake that costs € 6 or € 6.5 .. the portion (a glass not very large) I find it too small! also a € 3 cannolo, but very small… too bad

Simply the best ice cream in Luxembourg, and probably one of the best ice cream I have had in Europe. Freshly made on the spot and never disappoint. Try the signature sorbets (orange and strawberry is my favourite) or Crema Fiorentina. The staff is great too, they always serve me with a smile.

One of the best ice creams ever! Good price/quality!

Nice flavors, not the regular ones you find in any shop. Quality ice cream, no hard frozen pieces but just smooth ice. The staff is also friendly. Clean and modern interior.

Very good ice cream maker. Original tastes ;) only vanilla wasn't very tasty... But all the rest we tasted were excellent. Prices are a little bit higher than usual places but normal for the quality (2,50 per scoop, 5 for 2 and 6,50 for 3). Little terrace in front of the store on a little square. Nice service and the store's still open late (minimum 10pm) ! :) Will come back ;)

Popular, wonderful ice cream place located at a nice small parc and close to the European quarter in walking distance to the museum area. They have great vegan options and this options are clearly labelled. When I was there they had Orange, Chocolate and Macadamia and two others, so not only fruit sorbets as options. Chocolate and Macadamia were great and with wonderful texture. Passing by I have seen long cues but it's worth the wait. You can enjoy the ice cream inside or at the small parc.

Five stars for the ice-cream but the service could be a bit improved - there is no need for a long queue. However I appreciate the friendly tone and explanation in the reply and it is indeed understandable that in Corona times it is expected that people have to wait a bit longer 🙂

Superb taste and range of flavours. The coffee and pistachio ice creams were super intense and rich. Also, extremely nice and kind treatment from the girl who dealt with us.
