Visited that place for breakfast. Cost/Value is below average, for two people we paid ~37€ (2 bagels, 2 chia cream and only one coffee), in my opinion it s overpriced for that. All the furniture looks like randomly taken from second hand stores (come on, for such prices you could have thought about your design a bit! Or at least clean your furniture sometimes, not only top of tables). Some tables are very low and uncomfortable to eat and very often are dirty. Service is very good though, the waiter was very helpful.

Cute patio. Nice collection of books and related products for sale. Went for the kids area but lights were out of order, in their bathroom too. No maintenance of the kids area. Would not recommend. Coffees were okay and pastries (carrot cake, croissants) were disappointing. Would emphasize on the cute patio to enjoy the nice weather

The food is delicious and they have very interesting recipes for toasts, sandwiches and salads. The options for pastries and desserts are also very rich. The coffee is good enough. They also have smoothies and iced coffees. I do not recommend spending on milkshakes as mine was mainly foam and not much to drink. The service is good and, although you must queue for a bit before being served, they are fast in the delivery when no crowded. Possibility to buy books and other gifts inside. The only bad side is that the prices are a bit exaggerated. Their main customers are people working at the European Commission and similar, and families with kids.

One of my absolute favorite coffee shops in Brussels. Just a small walk from Parc du cinquentennaire, it's very cozy with beautiful interiors. Each section with a different theme. Good coffee but comes with transparent mugs which I don't prefer. The cakes are always fresh and heavenly! Does get crowded in the weekend.

Very cosy and picturesque café close to Montgomery metro. The cakes are delicious and diverse. Sometimes it takes a little while to get your order, but it is worth it.

Went there several times to grab a coffee and was never disappointed. Really cool place to spent time with friends and enjoy drinks. Food is not exceptional (except the different pastries and cakes). The place is original and offers a good space to work or study.

Nice place but this system of queuing on the street for long should be changed Coffee is much better actually at the Arts Loi cafe place of this chain

For all the hip of the place, you have one person doing it all in the mornings - taking orders, paying, making coffees, getting the food. The result is a 20 min wait for a croissant - one has to really want to sit under the decorative bikes to put up with this more than once not least as the food and coffee on breakfast are nothing more than anywhere else.

Café Leopold is always a good option if you are close to Parc du Cinquantenaire. Chai Latte, capuccino, milkshakes, a piece of cake, a croissant, coq au raisins, or even a brunch! Nice atmosphere (couples, groups of friends, people with their laptops, or families) and friendly service. I love the big windows, they bring so much light in!

Great place to read/work or have a meeting. It has a nice setup inside and 2 little green houses outside which are lovely to sit in. The stars are related to the actual coffee ☹️ really not good...I thought it's a coffee shop. I had a cappuccino and a latte macchiato (in this place there is no difference in between the 2..)both not related to their actual coffee names...shame since the place is very beautiful and the staff seems very nice.

The classic Sunday Brunch spot. Perfect for friends and family Brunch, they have a small inside playground area for kids. Their Brunch formulas are simple and not too expensive (20€ - all included). Their scramble eggs were good but the bagel could be better. It's not easy to find a great bagel in Belgium but if you have them on your menu it should be. Their carrot/vitamin juice was refreshing and exactly what we needed after a big Saturday night.

Ambient was great, seats was easily found even though the cafe is full. We order the avocado toast which was surprising great and rich. Chocolate banana pancake, the chocolate was amazing and taste great. We also order the carrot cake, rich and flavourful.

Been multiple times because of the convenient location but food is not excellent. Please avoid the açai bowl, very disappointed by the presentation, taste and toppings. On the bright side, their chai latte is delicious and people are always nice (even if slow on the weekends because the place is packed so be ready to queue for at least 5-10mins).

Taste of Cappuccino was awful. Really weak coffee taste, light color. The food (bowls) we ordered took 50 minutes in preparation, which is to long. Service was slow.

Went for breakfast, had to wait in queue more than 40 mins to order, then 40 more mins to receive the order. After all the wait, the food (eggs) was cold and they forgot to put dressing on my salad. I wanted to refill coffee but they told me that i have to wait again in the queue. Never again!

Cute shop where they put ingredients in your juice that are not asked for or desired, and there eggs Benedict is made with canned? Spinach, hard boiled eggs and broken holadasie sauce. The bacon was very tasty though.

27 November. 5 degrees outside. Door wide open. When I asked to close the door, the girls at the counter politely explained they couldn't: the management clearly told them to leave the door open. They were freezing too. The cafe Leopold is expensive. Very stylish, yes; food quite good, sure, but clearly over priced. And, on top, we have to freeze because we cannot - counter-intuitively close the door? I am tired of paying for being mis-treated. Cafe Leopold management should be more attentive to their clients, workers, environment. This is the last time I will go there.

Very nice place for breakfast or brunch. Nice and modern atmosphere and good variety of food choices. I don't give 5 stars because I think the coffee was not so good.

Very nice place to get brunch on the weekends or a nice coffee. There are several of Leopold Cafe presse in the city. Sometimes it is crowded for brunch on the Saturdays. The lattes are pretty good.

It is nicely decorated but the coffee is not good , very light ! There is no table service so each time you have to queue for an order. I had a bagel which was okay but nothing special…

Nice cozy place to have a dose of caffeine or early evening de-stress dose of alcohol. The coffee is super tasty. Never tried the pastries but have heard they are good, particularly the brownie slices. Quirky decor but vibrant and uplifts the mood.

I went to this place and the service was horrible. We ordered two bagels, the order was late and they brought first only one Bagel 15 minutes later they brought the second one.

We drank the juice and it was very nice. The inside is also very sincere. There is a small special section for children.

This woman in the photo was extremely rude to me . I order 2 bagels and 2 coffees and I clearly stated that . She yelling at me to get my coffee and is extremely disrespectful. I always come here because it’s close by but from today on I’ll never recommend this place to anyone. I believe it had to do with the colour of my skin

Poor service when they’re crowded. We waited over 45 mins for two bagels. I understand that it was a very busy Sunday, but most Sundays are busy in this coffee shop, so it’s poor staff management on their part if this keeps happening.

The cafe is a nice spot to hang out and it has a charming character. Our pastry (pain au choco) was very tasty. However, I gotta say both our coffees did not taste good. We ordered a cappuccino (which did not look like one) and a matcha latte. For a place that is a coffee shop, it quite disappointed us.

The interior is nice and good for kids. The coffee is good. There is no much air inside especially in the kids area, so I usually have headaches there. The staff could be friendlier. Otherwise nice place

Very cozy work-friendly space. I had a quinoa bowl with salmon and it was delicious! The interiors are very stylish and artsy and there are sockets around the place

  • 3/5 Lira B. 2 years ago on Google
Good service and friendly staff! Food was ok, salad that comes with the dishes had little dressing so not much tasty, bagel with eggs and salmon very dry as well, toasts were better! The indoors very cute and cozy!

Came her with my toddler, the food and drinks are good. I loved that they have a kids corner where kids can play, while grown ups are enjoying their order etc. Unfortunatsly the kids corner was really dirty! Rotten food in the corners and days or weeks old spilt liquids on the children chairs. If it wasn't for that I would've easily given 5stars. Especially during a pandemic should hygiene and cleanliness be a no. 1 priority :S

We called in advance for two bagels, which still took 20 minutes once we were there. They gave us the prices of eating in while we were taking it away. I highly recommend checking the prices at the moment of paying. The food is good though.

Really cool ambiance, tasty and easy for at affordable price. Wi-fi, lots of electric plugs. And a cool library focused on Bruxelles titles. Really cool place to chill, eat, work and chat :)

Dry eggs and without a taste, but other things on the brunch menu were ok. You get a tea in a lovely pot and the interior is pretty:)

Shame it’s the only « cosy / trendy » coffee shop in the Montgomery area. It could be really nice but the service could do with some improvement … There is only 1 person dealing with the till AND making the drinks which makes the service be super slow and create huge queues (expect to wait 15/20min for a coffee on a Sunday … and they don’t do table service for drinks). Moreover, the guy usually at the till is not friendly at all which makes the experience not that great for the price you pay (it’s a bit on the expensive side). I came there 2/3 times because I live close by but I think I’d rather go elsewhere unfortunately. Not worth what you pay for … add a second person at the order taking, at least!

I really loved this place. It is cosy, staff nice and most important... Cakes, the, juices... There is an extraordinary variety to chose and whatever you try is really delicious. It's normal belgium prices.

Super quick service, tasty food, lots of options and a great vibe. This place was really central, convenient to get to by bus and tram. The interior is nice, and there are many things to choose from including but not limited to pancakes, eggs and avo toast, pastries, juices and coffees. Everything was tasty, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the place has lovely outdoor seating. 10/10 recommend!

The worst cappuccino ever. The service is good and the place is nice but this is a coffee place, you even have coffee in the name. You really have to improve the quality of the coffee and learn how to make a real cappuccino. The one you serve now is not cappuccino 😔

I had a scramble eggs and salmon bagel, it was really nice. Crunchy, soft and tasty bread with generous portions of eggs, salmon and cream cheese. I would have it again! As of coffee I had a Soy Latte and it was good. Service is good and fast. It was very helpful that the menu is in English. I forgot to take a picture, sorry, I was very hungry. 😅

Much more spacious inside that I initially expected. A great place to chill or telework, when working from home gets boring. Good food and cakes, hot drinks...

A cozy cafe with Tintin Theme and books. We loved the ambience. The food selection seems to be great with wide variety options. We tried cappuccino and vegan decaf. Service was great too.

Easy cafe with plenty of outdoor seating, snacks, small patisserie items, coffee bagels and some pre-made meals. Large windows lit the rooms very well. Well located - Clientelle is mostly locals and students. Sales clerks are Brussels' standard cold and distant with that certain je m'en fiche ;) * No table service Self service only - Queues to buy your food&drinks when busy. Inside a bit run down but cosy - seats and tables and walls needs a lick of paint, and the floor has had some heavy use, and the sofas are dirty with and stained

Very friendly barista who made the drinks fast. Had a nice little chat with him and he explained some stuff to me. The drinks (matcha and hot chocolate) were good. What I did miss were napkins. I didn’t find any with the drinks or around me. I wonder if that is on purpose or if I just didn’t look good enough for them somewhere. Totally good for a quick drink. There is lots of seating room, inside and outside so I think you’ll always be able to find a place.

I like the deco, vibes and location of this cafe, I find it very relaxing. However the quality of food and service is very poor. It took us 15 minutes to order, standing in the line: there were just two staff for a high number of clients. The tables were dirty and the staff didn’t care about removing an ashtray full of cigarettes. The juice I ordered was poor quality and poorly served. Probably becoming overpriced and overrated.

😠 I really don't understand why they killed the space. It was perfect in its way, but no, they completely destroyed it and opened another mediocre fast food chain branch. Service looks so lost and random. It took literally 7 minutes for them to understand that they "don't do batch brew yet".
