Amazing food, one of the best Eggs Benedict I ever had. This location is really crowded due to being in a city centre, but the service is fast and we got out food in less than 15 minutes. 2 things to be aware of: - their signature sauce is really spicy - fries are coated with rosemary (it can be overpowering for some people)

Great meal and cool vibes. Different hours have different menus: brunch until 12, burgers and sandwiches etc until 6 and then smash burgers and craft beers after 6. The Peck burger comes with salad not fries and has no veggies on the burger (in case you were thinking American burger). The soup is huge (hand in the picture for reference).

It's a small and cozy cafe but I really enjoyed having brunch here. Service could be faster but the food tasted amazing so it was worth the wait. There is also a queue outside but the max wait is 15-20 mins. I loved each item I tried. I recommend ginger shot, espresso and fresh orange juice from the drinks. For breakfast you should try the speechless waffle which has chicken anc bacon inside it. I also tried the autumn french toast which was tasty but I believe the savory tastes are much better. Will be back for sure!

This place is amazing. Spent a few nights in Brussels and went back multiple times to try all the delicious sounding dishes on the menu. There were so many appealing options, we had no other choice but to return. The “brunch on a bun” was a masterpiece, as was the “peck special.” The pancake stacks people at other tables were getting looked phenomenal as well. Will have to come back on another trip to try that too. Don’t miss your chance to try this spot.👌🏽

Loved our meal here! Vegetarian friendly for sure. Yummy flavors, quick & friendly service. My mom (who normally eats only half portions), finished her entire breakfast sandwich because she loved it so much.

Great vibes! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My partner had the “My Buddy’s Nuts” pancakes which were amazing and I had the “Brunch in a Bun” which was also unreal. We were there just after 9 and got seated immediately but it seemed to pick up a lot with a queue outside when we were leaving so would recommend going early.

Very cozy and stylish place just in the city center. We came on Friday morning and there were 5 of us, surprisingly the table for us was found very quickly. There are a looot of food to choose from. Breakfast, all-day-brunch and lunch. A lot of drinks also. The food looks good, although I didn’t really liked how it tasted, and it’s a bit overpriced. Coffee was really nice! The waitresses were very friendly and polite. We had to wait for a while until our food was ready but the meals were delivered at the same time and we were happy about it :)

The Place is in a very nice location, the food was great. However always was a line waiting even if the place was not full. So i think the owner need more people in the kitchen. Clean and tasty.

A nice cafe located in central Brussels. The granola bowl is a great choice if you're looking for a healthier option. My guests enjoyed their pancakes. The French toast was good but unfortunately cooked a few minutes too long as it was slightly burnt.

These might be the nicest waffles I've ever had! Such a nice little place with lush spritzes and amazing brunch food. I had Goats cheese and chorizo waffles and they were incredible. Good sized portions too! Staff were very friendly.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was delicious. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs and bacon, and it was the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. The bread was crispy and fresh, the avocado was creamy and ripe, and the bacon really made this special. It was a satisfying and healthy breakfast that kept me energized for the rest of the day. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves avocado toast or just wants to enjoy a great meal in a lovely place.

Nice breakfast spot. It was pretty busy but they managed to seat us after about 2 minutes. Service was very friendly and most importantly the food and coffee were great.

We went there for a late breakfast. It was not crowded when we arrived, but got crowded just 10 minutes after. That day we’ve got Eggs Hemingway (Benedict with lox), Late, and Hot Chocolate. Everything was tasty. And fairly large. Only reprimand is that did not have any more first two items I’ve asked from the wall menu. Overall, very good.

Arrive early because it gets busy and they don't have room to wait inside. When I was seated I had to keep flagging waiter/waitress to order, but understandable as they were pretty busy. I had the pancakes with bacon and had asked for extra crispy bacon, wasn't extra crispy but it was still good. I had a cold cappuccino and it was delicious.

Cute little brunch spot. Make sure you get there before 10:00, otherwise the line will be out the door. The salad was quite flavorful and the bacon and eggs cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the brunch in a bun and eggs Benedict. The coffees were delicious too!

Awesome breakfast/brunch spot. Expect a line. Food is creative and delicious. We had the Drunken Sailor (eggs Benedict on waffles with salmon), veggie sandwich with egg on brioche and pancakes with bacon. Everything was very good.

On a famished morning, our food hunt led us to this hidden gem nestled in a Brussels alley. Opting for the savoury pancakes was a delight, but the real star was the hot chocolate — utterly mind-blowing! I can still recall the richness and taste from that cup. Hands down the best meal I had in Brussels! Departing with satisfaction and delightful memories. Not to forget, their excellent service added the perfect touch to the experience.

Very cute place, nice atmosphere. The savoury waffles are really good. I've never had anything like the Peck Special. Delicious!

It's quite close to grote markt so it gets busy pretty quickly so if you want a quiet breakfast then you will have to be quite early. Seating inside is quite limited, it did have a cozy vibe since it was a rainy morning. Service was lukewarm and relatively quick since it was early morning. Egg Benedicts were a bit overcooked but hollandaise sauce was delicious. Even the psycho sauce was pretty good. Portions were decent. Roasted potatoes needed a bit more seasoning in my opinion. The coffee was good. All in all, a good experience and a good brunch.

  • 5/5 Urszula S. 9 months ago on Google
The food was delicious. We had Peck Special, Classic Benedict, Orange Juice and Charcoal Latte. If you go there, be prepared for a lot of waiting. We had to wait in a long queue, even though half of the tables were empty. However it was definitely worth waiting. Great breakfast.

🍳 Leek Waffle with Truffle sauce, mushrooms and poached eggs with “psycho sauce” I’ve never tried a leek waffle before so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. The psycho sauce was supposed to be a spicy hollandaise sauce, it was delicious but disappointing that it wasn’t spicy at all. Overall this is a good breakfast spot tucked away near the streets of Grand Place.

The berry pancakes and the magic mushroom waffles are fantastic! Portion sizes are great. The service is slow and seems unorganized. We waited to be seated for 5-10 minutes when there were several tables available. Had to flag our waiter down to order and get the bill. There was a line on our way out but the restaurant was half empty. Maybe this is normal European “no rush” vibe? Servers were friendly. I recommend!

The place seemed to be the most popular breakfast spot for a good reason. Food was delicious, staff friendly and inside was clean. The fresh apple juice truly tasted like fresh apple juice and not the store bought sugary type. Very happy to have stopped here our last morning in Brussels.

It's a fine place to have breakfast. I ordered pancakes which were good but honestly I have had better ones. They have other options and I would say if you are egg fan than you might enjoy the food better here. The prices are fine. Not too overpriced.

Great cafe in the middle of the Grand Place area. Outdoor seating on their patio. Both brunch dishes were good, but I'd probably skip the avocado toast next time.

  • 4/5 Ruchi A. 8 months ago on Google
Food was awesome! We tried veggie brunch in a bun and avocado toast. Masala chai latte became my new favorite 😍 But the waiting time was too much. We waited for 45 min for our food to arrive.

I’ve been craving a smoked salmon Benny since I moved to Europe from the west coast of Canada - it’s really good here! The waffle is freaking delish. Perfectly cooked eggs. It’s expensive, but if you’ve worked in the industry at all you know why. My server was had a really calm nature and my experience in general was a lovely respite from my rainy Wednesday in Brussels.

It's been the best brunch we had in Belgium. It borders on being life changing. The dishes make connections that look simple in hindsight: Beef tartare works with raw yoke, why not try Egg Benedict? Also french toast with hints of bread pudding sounds like a treat and that's what happened with the French toast. Can be quite the wait to get your food, but strongly recommend.

We’ve chosen this place on Google reviews and photos of the food. We were lucky to have a table without waiting, but during our breakfast, we saw a line of people. Be sure that it is worse to wait because the food is very delicious and the service is fast. We had for breakfast Peck Special, Eggs Hemingway, and a small desert. It was the right choice with a place and food.

Nice breakfast place: available until 17:00. Tasty salty waffles. Benedict waffles are amazing. Recommend for having the best start of the day 🙂

We were looking for a great breakfast spot for our trip to Brussels - we were all super impressed. The waffles were delicious, great coffee and delicious fresh juice. Get there early because it gets busy quick!

This brunch spot is exceptional! Despite the long wait line, the experience is worth the wait. The menu features a delightful mix of classic and creative dishes. The staff stands out for their quick yet respectful service, and they never rush you through your meal, allowing you to savor every bite. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for food enthusiasts or anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Great food, great vibe and great staff. English speaker and was very easy to order and they allow adding extras (from their extras list on the menu) to tailor what is already on the menu more to your style. We got the French toast which the syrup was really really sweet, I can’t really remember what dishes we got exactly but I added salmon extra to my avocado toast and my friend got the salmon with eggs. Really good would recommend. Very busy though so would make sure to go early :)

Got the magic mushroom. It was poached eggs on top of a savoury waffle and truffle cream. I was nervous that the truffle would be overpowering, it turned out to be quite well balanced. The portion was just right too. Service was quick and accurate. Would recommend if you are looking for a brunch item with good umami with out the heaviness of meat in the morning.

Great brunch, we had the peck special and the magic mushroom. Both very tasty for a fair price. Thank you for this great start of our day!

It's a nice place to start your day. It offers a wide variety of brunch. The pancake was nice but a bit too much for me becuz I'm not really a sweet tooth for breakfast. Overall I do enjoy the vibe and the service!

Woodpecker never disappoints, the food is awesome, the service is friendly and attentive and on most occasions pretty fast! I love that you can get breakfast/brunch anytime of the day any day! I’ve tasted my way through all the menu items and not once have I been disappointed. And the fresh juices are definitely worth a try to go with your meal!

Yummy food, fresh well made, psycho sauce delish (witch seems to be a thing in Brussels), waiting line but not for long. WC out of order, and the poor waiter was the only one for like 20 tables.

SOOO TASTYYY. This was the first place we tried in Brussel and we left happy. I recommend this place. The food was so tasty. Then we ordered one carrot cake and one pistachio cake. Carrot cake was bit weird and different than the known one. However pistachio one was amazing!

Had to wait in a queue for almost 20 mins for a quick brunch but it was worth it. Service could have been better as it took too long for order to arrive and even water to get served. Loved the magic mushrooms burger. It was a perfect choice for gloomy weather in Brussels.

  • 5/5 Brittni W. 1 year ago on Google
Delicious brunch spot. Friendly staff, generous portions, great food. The Peck Special and Magic Mushroom were very tasty; as were our lattes and fresh made juice. So glad we ate here for our only morning in Brussels.

  • 4/5 Bernie C. 1 year ago on Google
Had the avocado toast and Peck special. Taste wise, ok. Generous serving of avocado. And poached eggs done quite well. Coffee was more towards the milky side.

  • 4/5 Nikki S. 11 months ago on Google
It’s was good but not change your life good. Eggs were well cooked but came out relatively cold. Lattes 10/10. Pancakes were good, but nothing spectacular. If you are looking for a good breakfast it is definitely a place to try.

Fantastic little spot for brunch! My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite to eat one morning and were very pleased with what we found. The "Peck Waffles" were delicious! I ordered the Peck Special while my wife had the Magic Mushroom. Both were complete different & great in their own way. This place also does smash burgers in the evening but we didn't get a chance to try them. For sure check this place out.

Quite a busy spot so you might have to wait a bit, but food is really nice. Like the twist to waffles (cheesy waffles? The Coffee could be better.

  • 5/5 Alex R. 10 months ago on Google
The food was amazing. Had a cappuccino and the Waffle with mushroom and poached eggs. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the waffle was crispy keeping it from getting soggy from the yolk. The wait staff was super friendly. Did not feel rushed, and got to enjoy a nice breakfast. Got there a little after 9 when they opened on a Monday and had table of my choice, but it began getting busier around 1000-1030.

  • 5/5 Traveller R. 1 year ago on Google
Exceptional place for an appropriate breakfast meal. The orange juice was fresh with just right sweet taste. I ordered the cheesy one brunch I found the hollandaise sauce is a bit spicy 🌶

Amazing food! Brunch in a bun is a must have. It started pouring rain when we were waiting on the patio but the staff was very nice. The mimosas were also amazing
