Unfortunately deceiving. We had booked a table for our 3rd year anniversary and we're really looking forward to having a nice dinner. The environment is nice and warm, the staff seemed nice too. However we waited very (very) long before even being able to order a drink. The starter was fine but they forgot our main course. After waiting for almost a hour, we got our food served. We had ordered the Chef suggestion, but I don't recommend it. Unless you like a tiny tiny piece of duck swimming in oil and fat. Thankfully the dessert was good. (Unfortunately) definitely not a moment we enjoyed. I would have expected the restaurant manager to meet us as we told several staff members of our disappointment. My colleagues and I ordered muscles and fries. Fries never came after asking 4 times. When I paid the bill, they only deducted 2 euros and didn’t even apologise as they couldn’t care less. Worst service I’ve ever experienced in Belgium - I will never return!

I usually don't post negative report... but this time the quality of the dish was not good. The meat was of poor quality (a lot of fat and may be frozen). I would suggest to remove dish from the menu when the quality is too low. Someone should be responsible for the quality check of the food served in the restaurant. This was my third and last time in this restaurant...

Nice atmosphere, friendly waiters. Good drink selection and good food for a reasonable price. Some setting in the yard and can be difficult to get table so book if bigger company. Vegetarian selection not that good, would rate 5* if the vegetarian selection was better and with more finesse.

It's several years that when I come to Belgium I come in this restaurant. I skipped some years for covid reasons.. There is still the same atmosphere, the food is still good, the service quite slow, but it left us the time to chat😉

Fixed menu, Christmas dinner. Very nice sharing food, from the melting cheese and nibbles for a starter, to the meat and (yet more) cheese fondue! Would go back!

The waiter a tall guy mid 30s or 40s with a beard , was very rude to us several times when we went . He was taking pleasure in being sarcastic and mean towards the clients. Otherwise food was ok not bad . They need to work on their service a lot . On thé bar side , lot of confusion on where to get a drink , and no one takes your order.

Food was so so good, server had a problem: Came for a team building and had the menu of the evening. Everything was well presented, perfectly cooked, and delicious. However our waiter was in such a horrible mood. Spoke rudely, arrogant and even forgot some meals. We didn't understand what his problem was.... anyway. The place is cozy and the decor is chic. Unfortunately at the end of the day, the people you interact with make or break the experience.

Quality if food has seriously improved, excellent service from our lovely young waiter, great drinks and fab dj !

Lived in Brussels in the early 80s and this was one of our favorite restaurants! Always wonderful! Miss this place. 💜

Nice atmosphere, were able to wait at the bar for a table. Professional staff. Not all of them speak English, but they're trying their best, they'll help you definitely. Service was fast. Lot's of choices in champagne, but unfortunately not in wine.

If you want to have an amazing taste of Belgium, seek no more. With great takes of Belgian traditional dishes cooked in a way that both your grandmother and your second wife would love. Drinks all around as well.

Filet was 5 stars, Pasta was not really al dente, but the sauce was very good. Service was fast and solid.

If you're going to visit Waterloo, I recommend this little restaurant. You will find great authentic Belgian cuisine here at very reasonable prices and great service.

A very good place to make an evening with friends, starting in the pub and finishing with a very good meal. The only small problem that we had, is very slow service. But they made sure to compensate us with one last drink on the house.

I ate here twice this week and many times before. Never had a bad meal. Good beer selection. Highly recommended.

Worst service in town !!! Better to go choose McDonald than this disgusting place. The service is so bad, slow and without any consideration to the guest. Waiters are not educated, and very rude. About the quality of the meal we cannot give feedback because they does not serve us. We have booked a table by 09:30 PM, we have arrived at 09:38, waiter call the order at 09:50 and at 10:05 we have been informed that the kitchen is closed and they invite us to choose only starters...... We left the restaurant without take our dinner..... If this is the Belgium way to treat foreigners, go ahead.... this is the way to remain at the last place in the European Touristic rating...
