PLEASE DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. I chose to stay here because the location is great except for that, everything turned out awful. First I found out I was beaten by bedbugs. The room was dark and humid with worn out furniture. Not surprisingly a whole one side wall paper were coming off with mold. It was disgusting. It was too late to change the room when I saw them because most of the time I was out. Secondly they chraged €50 for the extra cleaning without any information from the credit card that I registered. I had to check it with the staff. They said it was because my room was very "dirty" according to the cleaning lady. The next day the hotel manager, the cleaning lady and I checked the video recorded by her. There was nothing dirty on the floor. All the bed sheets were on the bed. Trash was in the bin. Then the manager asked her which part was it then she said the toilet floor was too wet so she had to do extra cleaning. I literally asked the manager you guys were charging me because the toilet floor was wet. Also I explained to them there is a half panel for the shower not fixed so it is impossible for water not to come out. Then he told me there isn't anything he can help and he doesn't have power. They were not even bothered to check it out in person. I have traveled to over 20 countries many years and it has never happened to me like this before. Location was great but hygiene and customer service were disgusting. I can't believe the hotel with bedbugs charged me for "dirty". It was the most unpleasant and the worst experience.

Bedford Hotel is OK and nothing more than that. The location is super ideal for anyone visiting Brussels as a tourist. The rooms are very tidy and clean but the walls are as thin as paper. Every flush, conversation and shower can be heard by adjacent rooms. It’s difficult to sleep when you can hear your neighbours during the night. Room services also isn’t a thing here so if you want extra towels or toiletries, you must go down to the lobby and collect it yourself.

If you have to take a holiday in Brussels, this hotel is highly recommended, for the simple fact that it is perfect. The rooms are quite large and soundproofed, the beds are large and comfortable and the TV offers channels from all over the world. The location is just perfect because it is very close to the Grand Place but not close to the noises of nightlife. Finally, there is the breakfast which offers literally anything and dinner is not bad either! The staff in the hall and in the various rooms where you can have breakfast is super nice.

Extremely disappointed with the stay, as soon as we checked in we noted that the air conditioner was not working in the room and upon informing the reception was told that its not their problem as they are receptionist and they can’t do anything as the problem is with the entire hotel (not sure if this is true) and a technician will only come the next day. No manager was available on site to provide any assistance what so ever. Have made complaints but they are not willing to offer any refunds but only a promise that during my future stay they will provide good offer which is pointless as I will not be staying in this hotel ever again if I visit Brussel again. Won’t recommend this hotel to anyone as their customer service especially from the reception team is very poor.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. We were excited about the central location, but the beds were so uncomfortable we hardly slept either night. The mattress was collapsed on one side making it feel like we were rolling out of the bed all night. The pull-out couch was like a mountain, high in the centre with feet and head lower. There is poor air circulation in the rooms with major humidity, and a funky smell in the hallway. The bathrooms were fine and shower had good pressure. Breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. Unfortunately after two nights with little sleep, we won’t stay here again.

This hotel was a disappointment. The lobby is very nice, but the rest of the hotel is shabby. The carpet is worn, the walls are marked, much of the furniture is chipped. The first room that we went to smelled heavily of urine and bleach. There was an imprint on the wall where a picture once hung. It was dismal to say the least. When we got to the front desk we found the staff to be unfriendly, one of them qualified as rude. The next room was better, but still not what you would expect when you enter the lobby. The security chain was broken, the chest was chipped. The internet connection is weak, most of the TV channels are blank and the electricity went off twice. The only toiletries provided were simple packets of shampoo, they didn’t even have the hotel name on them, so they were really cheap. On the third day of our stay we posted the sign requesting maid service. When we returned 5 hours later no one had even made the bed or given us new towels. The breakfast is average, powered eggs and lots of bread. They offered crepes, but the only filling was a plastic tasting chocolate syrup. There is a sign warning you not to take food out of the breakfast room as if you are a child. The hotel restaurant was closed without explanation. The bar upstairs is independently run and not what a traveler would expect to find on the premises of a hotel. Honestly, I had a better room and a better experience at a motel in Kansas.

You can tell this hotel has grown over time rather than being built as one. While almost everything is nominally accessible with lifts and ramps, the hallways can be a maze and the bridge over the street towards the convention rooms and parking garage seemed quite steep. For access to the breakfast, guests have to hand in a breakfast coupon card, which is supposed to be collected from the reception every day. This however, was made completely pointless, by the reception handing the cards out to literally anyone asking - one time we even got them without having to ask ourselves, just by virtue of standing next to someone who was asking before us. We've also had some trouble with only a small amount of staff seeming to speak English - although we might've just been unlucky getting only the french speakers. The rooms (we had a slightly larger business room) were okay, perhaps lacking in points for hanging towels without them getting wet during showering, and travel bathroom bags. The "everything off" light switches next to the beds were very handy, although the one near the door sadly didn't work. Air-conditioning worked as well, though it is of note, that heating would also happen using the same heat pump rather than traditional radiators. Last but not least, staff there barely follows the rules for wearing masks. If the mask wasn't completely down, it'd usually only cover the mouth. Staff at the reception only put on their mask when a guest approached them - not very useful to prevent airborne infection. They will tell off people for not wearing a mask though - while themselves not wearing one.

The hotel was clean and quiet. In the center of Brussels. Parking was located behind the hotel and was paid. The house was very clean and warm. There was no safe, minibar in the room. The price was reasonable. The service was good.

They want a €150 deposit which is completely unexpected and is not clearly mentioned anywhere. They make this “surprise” at the check in. The guy at the reception told me - give me your credit card to guarantee you stay. What does it even mean? How can you give your bank card to anyone - they can use the data from you card after you leave (I even had such cases in restaurants). Staff is unprofessional and rude. We went away after 15-20 minutes of a useless conversation with their receptionist and cancelled our booking through our hotel booking provider (it took some time but it’s worth wasting it to fight against fraud like this). Wish it was 0 stars rating. P.S. even though it is in the city center, the district is very dirty and looks dangerous. Lots of drunk refugee teens breaking bottles and littering all around. I wouldn’t leave my car there. Thanks for reading and STAY AWAY from this place!

We loved our stay here. We wanted to check in early and the front desk people were so helpful. They saw our passports and saw we were from the US and knew we had been traveling for hours and they made it work so we could check in 3 hours early so we could get a much needed shower and nap. The next day, we saw the same 2 gentlemen and they were great again. The rooms are really nice. Spacious for Europe/the price. Very clean. The showers are kinda goofy, definitely no for people with a fall risk but for us it was totally great. I didn't catch the two gentlemens name who helped us but they were great. Everything about our stay was awesome but those guys made our day by caring about us and wanting to help us rest a bit. Thank you!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent stay at your hotel. I must say that my experience was nothing short of horrendous, and I am compelled to share my grievances. First and foremost, the behavior of your concierge was utterly disgraceful. Their rudeness and disrespect towards guests are completely unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with courtesy and professionalism, but unfortunately, that was far from the reality I encountered. However, the concierge's behavior was not the only issue that marred my stay. To make matters worse, during a meal at your restaurant (Rooftop bar), I discovered a piece of hard plastic approximately 2cm in size within my food. This was not just a mere inconvenience; it was a potential life-threatening situation. The thought that I could have choked or sustained internal injuries due to your kitchen's negligence is terrifying. It is your responsibility to ensure that the food you serve is safe for consumption, and this breach of trust is unforgivable. The incident at your rooftop bar was nothing short of a disaster waiting to happen. A serious failure occurred that put my safety at risk. The fact that such a situation even arose is deeply concerning and speaks volumes about the lack of maintenance and safety protocols at your establishment. I could have suffered serious harm due to this negligence, and that is simply inexcusable. I am appalled by the level of service and safety I encountered during my stay at your establishment. In light of these incidents, I have already taken appropriate legal actions to address the plastic found in my food, as it posed a significant health risk. I have documented proof, photos, and witnesses to support my claims, and I will not hesitate to pursue this matter further to ensure that no one else falls victim to such negligence. As an attempt at resolution, one of your waiters had the audacity to offer me a shot of rum as an apology. This gesture is not only trivializing the severity of the issues I faced but is outright absurd. These problems require more than a token gesture. Adding insult to injury, my Ray-Ban sunglasses mysteriously disappeared from the reception desk. I left them momentarily to use the restroom, and upon my return, they were gone. This incident only compounded the terrible experience I had at your hotel and further highlighted the lack of security and accountability within your premises. In conclusion, my stay at your hotel was one of the worst experiences I've ever had, both in terms of accommodation and customer service. I implore you to take immediate action to address the issues I've raised, not only for my sake but for the safety and well-being of all future guests. It is my hope that you will take this feedback seriously and make necessary changes to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

Reasonable price and excellent location…super close to the train station and the plaza! The cleaning staff did a FABULOUS job! We weren’t sure if they would come and were pleasantly surprise to return to a clean room on our second night there. There’s no kettle or water bottles in the room which was inconvenient, but the receptionist provided a kettle for us which we were grateful for. There’s an ice machine in next to the reception desk. We wish the beds aren’t two single beds. It was really awkward that the beds would roll and split up as you sleep and roll. I wish we could request one large bed. The rooftop bar looks amazing, but when we arrived, it was nearly closed and stopped serving drinks already. Overall a great experience at Bedford!

Very central location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great lifts. Clean and tidy hotel. Great roof top bar with super staff. Our room was cold at night we could have done with extra blankets. Also it was extremely dark even with all the lights on. You could do with putting more lights or lighter lamp shades. A nice touch would be some bottled water or a tea/coffee maker. Other than that we had a great stay in the Bedford and Brussels.

Well located and reasonably priced place to stay close to the city centre and all it has to offer. The rooms are a bit tired, and lack some basic amenities - no kettle or hot drinks available, the TV is old and small although the channel selection is reasonable. The lock was incorrectly installed and it could not be used as it was the wrong way round! The bathroom, whilst lacking any real storage space, is an okay size with very decent water pressure and piping hot water. No grip on the bottom of the tub was a bit off-putting though. The reception was pleasant and well decorated, although some of the staff were a bit lacking in friendliness. The luggage storage facility was useful and secure. There is a bar on the top floor with a nice view out over the local area, however when we went there were very limited food options left and the drinks were quite pricey. Overall, it is a nice base point and bed for the night for Brussels city centre at a reasonable price, but not somewhere you would want to hang out for any extended period of time.

Great location if your visiting the city as a tourist. The building itself is a bit old style with very very small elevator but my room is spacious and has a veranda, perfect for smokers. Staff are cordial and helpful, from the breakfast area to the lobby staff. Considering the location alone, I think the place gives adequate value for money.

The hotel is OKAY, not very good & not bad! Everywhere was clean, and the good point is it’s located near the old town and you can easily reach the historical attractions by walking around without paying for bus or subway tickets. But they merged two single mattress to make a big bed and a gap between them was made several times while we were a couple sleeping together and it was annoying! The rooms don’t have a mini fridge to keep water and when I asked the front desk an old man made joke with me and it was insulting!!! They only offer us to drink water from the washroom in our room! It means you don’t have cold water in this hotel!

When I entered the building, I immediately felt like a time traveller. I love that they preserved the original design. The receptionists were all very kind and helpful, the room was immaculately clean. I appreciated the decent amount of pillows and that there was a bathtub instead of a shower cabin too! Very nice quality for the price, thanks a lot Bedford Team!

Reasonable value for money as this hotel is clean, fairly comfortable and in an excellent location. Also, though we arrived at 11.30 am over 3 hours before the check in time we were immediately given a room, which we appreciated. The breakfast is also quite good. However there are negatives. It's not 3 star standard as the accommodation is very basic with no frills or luxuries. When you enter the lobby it looks very impressive but once you enter the lift to access your room it all goes downhill. The rooms [and corridors] are shabby and clearly haven't been refurbished in decades. The paint is peeling in places, walls and ceilings are scuffed and the furniture is drab and worn. Quite depressing. No iron, queues at reception and some staff unhelpful. If you appreciate proper 3 star comfort it is worth paying a bit more elsewhere.

The location ist really good. You can walk to the important places and restaurants or cafés. There are three nice waitresses at the breakfast buffet. They really do a very good job. The telephones in the rooms don't work. Wifi works most of the time. They didn't change the bed sheets in our one week of stay. Most guests respect the hygiene concept so they wear masks but unfortunately not all of them. These masks are not made for protecting your chin!!! They have to cover your nose and mouth. Even some of the employees wear fantastic "chin masks". I don't know what these people are thinking! Are they so proud of their noses so they have to present their fantastic nose to everybody?! The hotel managers should protect their guests. We're still in a pandemic situation. That's what I think.

After the check out, I realised that my caution (150 euro- after paying the room cost) will be given back to me in 2 weeks! No one mentioned that….It’s really unacceptable. The staff at the reception during my stay was nice and professional but the one replied to me about this complain was rude. He/she just told me it’s not our problem, it’s due to the bank - 1) your replay is terrible 2) don’t ask for caution, it’s ridiculous for a business hotel 3) how you handle this matter just gave you a nice reward with title : how to loose a customer forever. Terrible customer service

I stayed in a room on floor 4. Hotel lobby- good Location - good Hotel room corridors - shady and bad, I wonder how complicated it is to maintain the walls! Room - bad. Locker - doesnt work. Phone -intercom doesn't work Electric kettle - not given Mini fridge - not present Hangars for clothes - not present Complimentary Tea/coffee - not present Reception - I complained about the locker the chap at front desk said he will send someone. I come back after 3hrs at 6pm on Friday, he says no one was working to see it. Will be addressed on Sat. Sat no response not fixed! Breakfast - good options Reception staff - rude. There was a lady she probably doesn't get paid by the management she was so rude. If you are there don't ask questions. Or maybe she was just rasict! Overall experience bad I've been to much cheaper and a lot more hospitable places.

The Hotel was an overall okay experience. To start out with the bad things. The rooms look a bit outdated. Paint chipped off from the ceiling. Old furniture. Small fridge that doesn't seem to work in all rooms. But it did in mine. The bathrooms within the rooms have no lock. Not all the standard rooms are the same size. Sometimes you're lucky that your room is a bit bigger. The temperature on the shower can be hard to regulate sometimes. But the worst was the toaster machine in the breakfast area. Every morning it makes a terrible peeping noise that can be heard across the whole breakfast area. The machine had to be lubricated a long time ago. The waiting line for the reception was sometimes non existent but sometimes a 5-10 minute wait. Now the good things. The staff is very polite and eager to help. When exiting the garage it didn't accept the parking ticket they gave me. So staff let me out personally without question. Room service does a good job. The breakfast is nice. There are plenty of elevators. The luggage room is great to be there if needed. You can get breakfast coupons at any time at the reception. When you lose your room key there is nothing to worry about. They help you get a new one and you won't be fined. Room service are all polite people although they don't speak Dutch or English most of the time.

Great room and great awesome place to stay. We arrived in 10/16 and the crew that was working in the morning was super helpful; we left our luggage and went to know the city. We came back and EDUARDO was in the reception was super cordial answered all our questions and gave us all the info that we needed plus more. Not 5 but 10 stArs chi

Great location, not far from Grand Place. Rooms would benefit from coffee and tea making facilities. The room was very warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cocktail bar on the 8th floor was excellent, with lots of choices of cocktails and other drinks.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights through a booking for Tomorrowland's festival. The staff was really kind at all times and the rooms looked a lot better than we expected. Very clean and with all the necessary stuff, including AC. The breakfast options were not too many but complete enough. Also the location was a plus, as we could go walking pretty much to any of the train stations. The only downside is that probably because of the design of the reception door and the wind, when other customers were smoking at the reception doorstep all the reception hall was smelling like cigarettes smoke, which we both my partner and I personally struggle a lot with. Otherwise we recommend it.

Excellent location. Good hotel for the price. Staff all very helpful, especially housekeeping staff and rooftop bar staff. Clean, warm and friendly - what more can you want.

They hotel looks great from the outside and I wish I could say the same about the rooms. The rooms are in desperate need for a refurbishment. But a decent place to stay location is convenient and the staff are polite and friendly. Lifts seem to be out of order most of time and can get annoying having to wait for the lift to arrive for a long time.

Pillows were super uncomfortable, ratty, and lumpy. Bath towels and floor mat were torn on the edges. There was no wifi in our room at all which was very surprising. Any time someone would walk by our room we could listen in on the entire conversation. Very loud and little to no soundproofing. There was a heat pump which was maybe the only plus. Lobby was beautiful, but the rest of the hotel felt lacking.

Checked in today, unfortunately we been downgraded from Triple Superior Room to double room with an extra bed, very pleasent receptionist saying that they are fully booked and nothing can be done about it!!! Size of the room was of great importance as we are 3 grown man, now staying in a small room without any space to move, instead of 35m² Triple Superior Room!

  • 2/5 Jørn Kostøl G. 9 months ago on Google
The noise from the roof-top bar resonates down through several floors, and the sound of tables/chairs being moved woke us up both early in the mornings and late at night. At first we thought it was the room above us, but it turned out to be coming from higher up. Complaints were made to the reception on several occasions but neither apologies nor offers of remediation were made. Other neighboring residents on the same floor experienced the same thing and they even knocked on our door to ask us to keep it down as they though we were the ones thrashing our room. The fact that the hotel staff did not own up to this being a known issue and the fact we did not get any compensation for it (we even had to pay for an extra hour late check-out, which they easily could have offered us for free) means I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Also the breakfast was the absolute worst one I have ever experienced throughout Europe, but Brussels city has plenty to offer so we gladly spent our money on some nice cafés elsewhere.

  • 4/5 Marc M. 9 months ago on Google
The rooms need some refreshment as one can see that they are not the youngest anymore. I am going there for about 20 years and it is still the same professionalism. The new rooftop place is amazing and giving a hint of what the whole place could become in future.

  • 5/5 Hemant M. 9 months ago on Google
Overall it's a great hotel, for the price your paying to stay right in the city centre is ridiculously cheap compared to the other hotels in the area. Staff were great and helpful. Rooftop Bar Included, the hotels rooftop bar is unmatched and the drinks are made very well. One little downside was the our rooms toilet door did not have a lock or close properly. But other than that the hotel, the rooms and the staff were all great. Would definitely recommend if your visiting Brussels.

they gave us a room that the heat wasnt working. supervisor and maintenance came on to check, speaking in their language infront of the staff. i knew french so i understood. reprimanded that we as guests request for room change ourselves. we were just lucky that the receptionist who was assisting us that time did not listen to their recommendation of just providing us a portable heater, rather switched our rooms to make us comfortable. considering we were booked in their hotel for a couple of days. kudos to the receptionist in the afternoon, gentlemen, shorter than the other on Nov26

Hotel location is really good for seeing the amazing sights in Brussels. Check in at hotel was okay, I was disappointed that the receptionist wasn't friendly. Service from staff was okay overall but we didn't feel the staff were friendly and they didn't really acknowledge us. The room was nice and bed was comfy, however the loud noises of tables and chairs scraping on the top floor in the bar was awful. Our first night it was very noisy untill 1:30am.

The hotel is located near the main square so location is perfect. In general our stay was pleasant. The only 2 negative things that I noticed are the very poor breakfast and the terrible sound isolation. You could literally hear other people talking in their rooms or going to the toilet.

At our arrival the heating wasn't working in the room. They provide us another room. I had to pack again and move to that. The safe box wasn't working. I mentioned it twice at the reception and nobody came to check it. I've stayed 3 nights without safe box.

Went for a drink in the roof top bar and the service was disgusting l. I expected so much more from this establishment. I tried to vent my disbelief with the reception staff, but it seemed that this kind of treatment was nothing out of the ordinary. They gave less of a damn than the 8th floor. Perhaps I am a little sensitive. But I had a wonderful time with great service whilst having dinner earlier. This place must now be considered as poor. Which is a great shame. To sum up, a lovely facility, let down by poor staff.

A great location for visiting Brussels easy to get to the likes of the Grand Place etc. and train stations. The rooms where airy and comfortable and of the quality one expects. The breakfast selection was great and the Floor 8 Bar was excellent both in terms of staff and the offer - worth a visit. Sadly, the wifi we could get was very poor and having ask for this to be sorted nothing happened - for a business and congress site you would have expected it to be a priority. The staff where helpful and and tried to address issues. However, the concierge staff came across as off- hand. And one odd thing was not being able to take a coffee cup from the breakfast room.

Very central location to every thing. Walking distance from Central train station. My room was dated but hotel in process of updating while I was there. Breakfast had good choices. The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and created an amazing atmosphere. That goes from front desk, to cleaning ladies to breakfast staff. Big 5 stars to them. Would definately stay here again.

No real problems. The hotel was fine. During checkout, 4 people working behind the counter. 10 people waiting. Only 1 employee was helping. I needed to get my bag out of the storage. The others said it was not their job. I waited until the person's whose job it was showed up.

Hotel was OK but definitely not worth $100/night. Wifi was horrendous! Didn't have a signal most of my stay and when I did I only got 2 bars at most. Had to go to a bar to make phone calls to friends and family back home. Would not come back.

The location is great. By walk is 10 minutes to the city centre. The room was big and perfectly isolated so you can have a sweet sleep while you are in the hustled and bustle of the city. The also give you discount for the public parking garage behind the building.

Luxurious hotel with well-furnished, large rooms with air conditioning. Friendly 24h reception, with present security. A great place to both work and stay! A deposit is typical for hotels, and it’s taken out of the account unless damage is done - professional and a serious hotel.

Let me say this, don't let the fancy lobby fool you, once you enter the bedroom, it feels terrible. No bottle of water, no kettle, super old facilities, cold, moist, during the nights, even if we turn AC to Max. My boyfriend got fungus infections... I won't say it worth the price with such facilities. And the location was OK, but not that center, it takes you 3/2 stops of metro to get center...

The hotel looks like a maze inside. Countless emergency exit signs. At one point I accidentally ended up in the basement. Housekeeping was very loud in getting the rooms ready next to me. Housekeeping also walked into my room in the morning. They said sorry for that. Nobody asked how my experienced my stay. Except I got a request by mail to fill in a survey for them. Nice interior. Location is perfect. And not too expensive.

Friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location and you can easily go most places walking from there. The rooms look a bit dated but not too bad. The bed is comfy and the temperature is easily adjustable. The TV only had 1 channel in English so we had to rely on our devices. The wifi is really bad, so we used all our data. We booked a smoker’s room, however we were informed that there was no smoking in the hotel which for us it was an inconvenience. There’s also nothing savory on the vending machine. If we arrived late we had no options for snacks as the kitchen closes early.

My wallet was stolen inside the room!!!! Beware of this hotel! I left my wallet in the drawer in the bedroom and in less than 24 hours it was gone. When I realized I didn't have my wallet, I immediately called the hotel. What kind of cleaning do they do? Be careful and avoid this hotel!

I booked a room and in my confirmation email the check in was at 2 pm. Arriving to the hotel the reception mentioned that the hotel is full and I should wait until 3pm to get a room as it is mentioned on a sign at the front desk! But wait how can I know about this update before arriving ? The receptionist was rude and forced me to wait until 3pm ! Because she’s not sure if at 2pm a room will be available ! I asked to speak to the manager her answer was there is no manager ! What a shame ! I waited until 2 pm and revisited the check in desk and another receptionist found a Room for me ! but again I lost few hours of my 24 hrs stay ! At the check in, they ask for all your credit card details as a deposit in case of any damage in the room (or 150 euros cash) ! Be prepared ! Nothing mentioned on my booking confirmation ! My reservation was via Agoda, when I raised to the receptionist that either the deposit or the check in issues were mentioned in my booking confirmation he said that yes Agoda are not professionals but they work with them to commercialise their hotel ! However, the room was clean and the hotel looks fancy ! Overall, bad experience ! Being a regular visitor to Brussels, I will never booking there again.

The hotel is quite old and would need an urgent refurbishment. The water of the bathtub / shower of our first room did not work so we had to change room, then the AC of our second room did not work as well but we gave up. There is no noise isolation between the rooms (I could hear the guy from the room above p*ssing and was waken up several times by some doors closing and guests above walking). Staff was not very helpful and even if there are 3-4 computers at the front desk, we had never seen more than one person taking care of customers, despite quite relevant queues. Would not recommend.

A large hotel located a few blocks from the main square in Brussels. The location is very good for exploring the city and has many fine restaurants and cafes nearby. I had a single room that was on the small side but had a lounge chair which was a nice touch not usually provided by hotels. The breakfast buffet was served in a large room which tended to be crowded during my stay.

Great Location if you want to get out and explore, rooms were decent sized and clean. Beds were comfy, unfortunately there was a lot of noise in the morning as they were having the hallway redecorated. We didn’t mind as we got a good deal and figured that must be why, but would of been good to be pre-warned. There’s a little fridge but no kettle/ tea making facilities.

I'm giving this rating for the location and the spacious room. The rooms and the hotel is pretty run down. They are doing some renovation in the common areas and facade currently. The rooms also require some renovation. However this didn't affect our stay. It was pretty convenient and the metro station was close by. Most places were walkable. The breakfast was average but filling. Hot water was available. We hope to visit again after they are done with their renovation.

Liked it a lot. From the first moment of Check-in until the sad moment we had to check-out. Nice service, great breakfast (just the eggs might be better next time). What can you ask more for a few days Belgium sightseeing trip!!

A great hotel just a 10 minute stroll from The Grand Plas. The reception is lovely and the receptions are friendly and helpful. Our room, 529, was large and the bathroom had a bath as well as a good shower. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely bedding. The downside was that the room needed some TLC, which apparently is happening as we speak. Also the AC Unit was a little loud at night and the Smoke Detector flashed lights all night long which was really annoying. I would recommend this hotel and we would stay there again.

Lovely and well-located hotel. Not the newest building, but well cared for and very comfortable rooms. Not giving five stars simply because there is water in the rooms when you arrive, but this is not replenished, and so when we came back late and beer-filled, it wasn’t great to be told if we wanted bottles of water for the room, we’d have to get them from a vending machine. Silly stance to take!

Very clean place and the room we had was very spacious for 3 people. Tasty nice breakfast, with variety and the food all tasted fresh. However, the gym is pretty bad… it’s dated and needs some updating and maintenance. Most of the staff did not seem to hold much knowledge of the place either, also the wifi is pretty unstable.

A wonderful hotel that is excellent value for money, centrally located, and a short walk from the Grand Place. The staff is welcoming and friendly and made me feel 'at home.' The breakfast buffet was lovely. This hotel is very clean, with good sized rooms and bathrooms (I must also mention the excellent water pressure). There is also the option to hold your luggage, if needed. I felt very safe here and will stay at this hotel when I return to Brussels. This hotel deserves 10 out of 10 stars!

Impressive entry and lobby but rooms are very average. Did not honour my 'reservation' for a double bed - even though booked several weeks in advance. Staff weren't too concerned, "Sorry, the hotel is full sir". So much for 'reserving' the room with the bed I needed. Two single mattresses pushed together - one soft, one hard - will have to do. Very basic rooms otherwise and comfortable.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I did not have any issues myself but I saw them helping other guests in a very professional manner to the satisfaction of those guests. All of the food I tasted on the hot breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. It was quiet. There was a simple cardio gym on the top floor with views. It was a little older hotel, it was very clean and well kept.

Amazing hotel! Perfect location near the center of the city ! The rooms were spacious and clean! Every day there was room service! Moreover the breakfast wasn't included and for a small fee of 12 euros we enjoyed a very full breakfast! Lastly because we had an evening flight there were very eager to keep our luggage in a safe storage! Highly recommended! Also we recommend brussels for a Christmas destination!

Great central location. Fabulous entrance and reception area and all public areas but our room was a little tired and shabby. Bathroom extremely small. Our heating didn't work and we felt an inconvenience to staff when we had to ask a second time for a heater. That said, the location was unbeatable and the breakfast good so would recommend.

Lovely clean rooms, friendly helpful staff. Nice bar at the top. Good breakfast. Downside is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and only coffee machine at €1.50 a time. Good location 10 minute walk to Brussels Central Station, 5 minutes to grand Palace. Would stay again.
