This
hotel
was
a
disappointment.
The
lobby
is
very
nice,
but
the
rest
of
the
hotel
is
shabby.
The
carpet
is
worn,
the
walls
are
marked,
much
of
the
furniture
is
chipped.
The
first
room
that
we
went
to
smelled
heavily
of
urine
and
bleach.
There
was
an
imprint
on
the
wall
where
a
picture
once
hung.
It
was
dismal
to
say
the
least.
When
we
got
to
the
front
desk
we
found
the
staff
to
be
unfriendly,
one
of
them
qualified
as
rude.
The
next
room
was
better,
but
still
not
what
you
would
expect
when
you
enter
the
lobby.
The
security
chain
was
broken,
the
chest
was
chipped.
The
internet
connection
is
weak,
most
of
the
TV
channels
are
blank
and
the
electricity
went
off
twice.
The
only
toiletries
provided
were
simple
packets
of
shampoo,
they
didn’t
even
have
the
hotel
name
on
them,
so
they
were
really
cheap.
On
the
third
day
of
our
stay
we
posted
the
sign
requesting
maid
service.
When
we
returned
5
hours
later
no
one
had
even
made
the
bed
or
given
us
new
towels.
The
breakfast
is
average,
powered
eggs
and
lots
of
bread.
They
offered
crepes,
but
the
only
filling
was
a
plastic
tasting
chocolate
syrup.
There
is
a
sign
warning
you
not
to
take
food
out
of
the
breakfast
room
as
if
you
are
a
child.
The
hotel
restaurant
was
closed
without
explanation.
The
bar
upstairs
is
independently
run
and
not
what
a
traveler
would
expect
to
find
on
the
premises
of
a
hotel.
Honestly,
I
had
a
better
room
and
a
better
experience
at
a
motel
in
Kansas.
