Located
5-10
minutes
on
foot
from
the
Brussel-Centraal/Bruxelles-Centrale
station,
this
museum
is
an
absolute
must-see
if
you're
interested
in
music.
I
came
here
with
my
partner
and
it
took
us
around
2
hours
to
see
every
exposition
room
and
the
souvenir
shop.
It
is
possible
to
buy
the
tickets
when
entering,
but
it's
best
to
buy
them
online,
as
there
is
a
limited
amount
of
tickets
available
per
timeslot.
Right
after
scanning/presenting
your
tickets,
you
can
ask
to
receive
an
audioguide
(and
headphones
if
you
don't
have
your
own)
for
free.
It
was
incredible
to
see
how
the
instruments
we
all
know
evolved
throughout
time
(and
in
different
parts
of
the
world!),
or
to
discover
ones
that
we'd
never
even
seen
before.
Most
instruments
also
have
a
code
you
can
input
on
the
device
given
at
the
reception
to
listen
what
they
sound
like,
or
listen
to
songs
where
they're
used.
Some
also
have
videos
and
more
information
about
them.
There
are
instruments
of
all
types,
so
I
can
guarantee
that
you
will
find
something
you
like!
There
is
also
an
exhibition
floor
dedicated
to
pianos
and
keyboards
in
general,
which
you
will
surely
love.
I
can't
describe
every
single
instrument
showed
here,
but
I
can
say
that
some
were
old,
some
were
VERY
old,
some
were
exotic,
some
were
bizarre,
and
some
were
straight
out
works
of
art.
Most
floors
have
got
a
toilet
in
case
it's
needed,
right
after
going
up
or
down
the
stairs,
before
the
actual
exhibition
rooms.
The
museum
has
got
a
restaurant
as
well,
but
it's
currently
closed
to
date
of
this
review
-
as
far
as
I've
understood,
not
for
long.
The
souvenir
shop
has
got
a
variety
of
items,
ranging
from
simple
instruments
and
magnets
to
jewelry
and
glassware.
It's
also
not
only
about
this
museum
and
music
but
about
Belgium
and
art
in
general.
If
you're
in
Brussels
and
have
two
hours
to
spare,
you
absolutely
need
to
pay
this
museum
a
visit!
