Had a brilliant meal with new friends here. Food and beer were excellent. They brew their own beer. Great view over the Waterloo Battlefield

Been there with friends last night for the first time, blown away with the modern touch of the place, specious inside and outside, nice wooden interior details, fast and professional service, and above all the food: ee had vol-au-vent with so tender and tasty chicken, tartar with and without fois gras that's literally melting in the mouth, and some burgers and pasta. Phenomenal experience, looking forward repeating it very soon.

We have been here now three times and always found something that disappointed us. The nagative aspects is the disorganised service with often rude waiters. Two times we ordered only to be told much later that certain things did not exist on the menu, and once we were even charged for something that never arrived. I recommend avoiding the QR menus that made us to pay via the phone, as after using it were told something we ordered had run out we still paid for it. The poor service is a big shame as this has a lot of potential since the location is fantastic and the interior (as well as exterior on nice days) is really nice. The beer selection is the only positive thing I can say about Ferme de Mont Saint Jean, which has some interesting offerings on tap.

Nice place. Lovely view on the battle fields. Good cuisine; A little trendy too much but overall nicely cooked/prepared.. An excellent selection of food-pareable-beers... Me happy 😃😂 Hungry people will need 3 courses, though.

It"s family place to spend your time with your loved ones, since the ambience it"s completely homey

Very good food, good atmosphere and in a unique site. The food was very well presented, tasty and well cooked. Good amount of food. Good cocktails and interesting wine selection. Being a brewery, and Belgian, you can expect excellent beer and even their own whiskeys.

Superb place (the old farmbuilding, the open view) to get a decent bite. Just off Waterloo city limits, near la butte.

Friendly staff and beautiful sandwiches. The Museum is well set out and the grounds are well kept. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Third year when we went to Vikings days ar the ferme. Nice set up, as always. Nevertheless, the food trucks cannot provide enough food in a reasenable maner at lunch. Waiting 1 hour in line for fries its too much.

The food good. But the service outweighs in negative by far the pleasure of the food. If you want to spoil an evening, come here. Otherwise many much better options to choose from!

After sampling a Waterloo beer in the Le Wellington restaurant next to the memorial, we had to go 5 minutes down the road to the brewery, if only to buy some of the excellent products. We had been told there was a museum there relating to the farm's use by Wellington as a battlefield first aid station and hospital that was included in the Waterloo 1815 ticket, but discovered it was'n. However, the very pleasant and helpful lady in the shop kindly opened it for us, and it turned out to be way better than the nearby Waterloo museum, Extremely interesting, and covering a much wider story of the battle. The shop was very reasonably priced, and we left with many souvenirs! The hand crafted Waterloo goblets are much better value here than the poor value museum up the road at 1815. An excellent place to drop by, and had we not been heading back to England that day we'd have stayed for food and the evenings live entertainment. One to remember if ever in the area again.

We paid a visit for the afternoon sweet and we’re delighted as well by the sweet as by the place and service. We will without a doubt go back for lunch or dinner.

Awesome place! The owners and the workers are all amazing people to enjoy time with. Just an all around great time.

Having visited the rest of the local museums linked to 1815, the museum (rather than the brewery) was to be our final destination. We arrived just after 10:00, the published opening time, but couldn't find the entrance to the museum itself. A couple of people said "bonjour", but we were otherwise ignored as we wandered around, seeking the museum. I can commend the toilets! Nevertheless, an interesting building with such historic ties.

Goodness knows how this place managed to get permission to extend its building within such an important historical site. The little shop is good and well stocked and the staff are friendly. The whiskey tour is a little lacking though.

Great place, superb restaurant and very nice shop

This place is spectacular. We walked through the museum before eating at the restaurant. Our waiter, Kevin, was awesome!! The food was delicious, and our three kids enjoyed the playground that’s nearby. They even made friends with some other kids while my wife and I had a couple of drinks.
