A museum dedicated to books, situated in a modern/brutalist type of building. Not your regular type of museum but if you're a book lover do mark it down. They also do some workshops, so do check them out.

I went today for the first time and I got treated like a special guest. Everyone was very kind and willing to help... I stayed for a bit in the library. They said that apart from the exhibits, they offer activities, workshops, etc. I’ll be sure to join!

Cosy museum where you can feel the owner loved his collection and passed it down to the employees as well! Since my group doesn't speak french or dutch, the lovely museum employee gave us a tour and talked about every exhibition herself, it was great to see other employees work on bookbinding live as well! The rattle collection was a fun extra detail as well ✨

An El Dorado for bibliophiles, an absolute must. Great exhibitions, friendly staff, great atmosphere.

Went to the recent exhibition of Frans Masereel woodcuts and paintings. Well presented, intimate space. Staff were very friendly and welcoming - practically had the place to ourselves.
