This museum has a very interesting premise, but could be made so much better with just a little extra work. They do provide you with a folder of information, but for the majority of objects, this just shows the country and date. It would be greif they would add some more information regarding the use or origin of the objects, what they depict and what their cultural significance was. Still, ita very well curated museum with over 600 objects on display and well worth a visit.

The concept seemed intriguing and the allure of having to ring a bell to gain entry was exciting, but unfortunately this is where the fun stopped. To call this place a "museum" is misleading - it is more of a "small personal collection of artifacts in someone's house." Very little information given on any of the artifacts - was quite often just a country and a date. This gives no information on the history of the piece, nor the artist. Also disappointing to see so much ivory on display. I understand these are historical pieces when carving ivory was generally accepted, however I would not have visited this place had I known. Save your money and visit one of the other dozens of museums in Brussels.

Total TOURIST TRAP! Do not waste your money here. 10 euros per person is beyond excessive to wander around two little rooms with only tiny random artefacts on show. Complete waste of money- DO NOT VISIT!

2 and a half floors of erotic art, sculptures and other creations from throughout history and all over the world. Pretty impressive collection considering it's a private collection! Friendly staff and you get a folder with you in a language of your choosing, where you can find more info on the pieces you'd like to know more about.

This is less of a museum and more of a private collection. The exhibits lack any context besides their title, place of origin and date and for most of them the 2 curators can't tell you much more than a cursory 20 seconds Google search would. In short this is more of a collection for hardcore enthusiasts and researchers who already know what they're looking at than laymen who have just been titillated by the name of the museum. Along with it only being 2 rooms and a staircase large, the price of 10€ becomes inexcusable. I would much rather recommend spending the same amount of money to see a world class exhibit at Beaux Arts.

Current time: 14:37. Website, flyer and door all day it opens at 14h. Called and the man said it will be open at 14:30 (clearly unaware of the time even though we told him it was past that). Not impressed with way we were blown off. Not very professional. Normally would not have cared so much but when it is raining and cold and the restaurants around are closed until dinner time, makes the journey a waste of time. Will update if/when they decide to open for the day

The art on display is super interesting, but it's not explained so it's a missed opportunity. The price is a bit steep for the extent of the museum.

(Translated by Google) This is not a museum but a private collection, which can be bypassed in 10 minutes at most, 20 if you look at every little thing. And for such a place is not cheap price, supposedly you can not take pictures but the staff did not say anything about the photos. (Original) Это не музей а частная коллекция , которую можно обойти за 10 минут не более , 20 если всматриваться в каждую мелочь. И для такого места не дешёвая цена , якобы нельзя фотографировать но персонал по поводу фотографий ничего не говорил.

A small museum which is rather a private collection of erotic artifacts (statues, antique sex toys etc). Sure it cannot compete with the sex museums of Amsterdam, but can be amusing if you have nothing to do. Entry fee is 10 eur per person, which we've found somewhat pricey for what you get.

I loved this museum. Very unusual, but definitely worth a visit. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the exhibits cover all of the world, and from modern times to medieval and earlier times. The only downside is they don't take card, cash only.

(Translated by Google) It's a terrific coke, but they never take pictures. Moreover, the catalog did not remain in their hands. There are examples of every civilization from every period. Pictures, sculptures, trinkets, ornaments, many tools.

Lovely curated, more than 600 pieces from a private collection. If you are interested in the portrayal of erotics over the past centuries this is definitely worth going. Very nice curators and guides, that help you out with anything you would like to know.

You have to ring a doorbell to get in, so it seems a bit like entering someone's house. This is the private collection which one man has accrued over his lifetime. We were guided around by a lovely and very informative woman who explained the history of each of the pieces and then left us to browse. A very unique and unusual experience!

(Translated by Google) Very nice personal investment from the owner. Warm welcome. Ideal location in Sablon, the nerve center par excellence of Brussels. Due to the confined space, the pieces are not given pride of place. Reduce the number of objects? At least for certain more important objects do not hesitate to put explanatory panels (creation context, goals, use, etc ...). No doubt a future like a boulevard ;-) (Original) Très bel investissement personnel du propriétaire. Accueil chaleureux. Situation idéale au Sablon, le lieu névralgique par excellence de Bruxelles. Interesting collection, but the place is small and quickly crowded. A bit old-fashioned too - you have to read print paper lists to find out more about individual objects.

Simple and tastefull. Most of the peaces are from XX century but most def worth seeing. It would be advisable to book a tour with profesional tourguide if possible. For others, simple guides (description with name of the art peace) on english, dutch and franch available.
