It’s a small but very cute museum displaying over 150 costumes for Litter Manneken Pis statue gifted from all over the world. It’s very enjoyable to look at each of the colorful costumes and read the labels to find out where and when they came from. You can buy a booklet for 1€ which tells some fun facts about the little statue and the costumes. The booklet is stamped with the image of Manneken Pis. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming.

Tiny museum, but so full of information! If you have any interest in the famous statue, this place will delight you. Mannekenpis regularly gets dressed up in all kinds of costumes, a tradition dating back over 400 years! He has over a thousand costumes, from all over the world and for all kinds of occasions. This museum displays a selection of the costumes, and also includes two screens where you can view the entire collection. They have an audio guide in a few languages that gives really detailed descriptions of costumes, traditions, and interesting tidbits. It's not big, but I really enjoyed this unique museum.

Not to be missed! If you visit Manneken Pis just walk a few 100 meters down the road to this collection of his costumes. You get the opportunity to try to dress him too. It's harder than you think... There's an impressive graffiti of him outside too.

This is a quirky "museum" dedicated for all of the different outfits used on the Manneken Pis. You will be surprised by how many there really are. There is one outfit/costume for almost every country in the world which generally typifies the country. There are also special outfits made to commemorate past well known people such as Mozart, Elvis, Dracula, etc.. The museum itself is quite small and will take you about 15 minutes to look at all the different outfits. I visited on the first Sunday of the month so admission was free. I would be quite upset if I had to pay 8 Euro (combined ticket with Brussels Museum) to get in because it should really be free.

A store where they exhibit the clothes of the manneken de pis in the last twenty years. It is five euros to visit this small museum but there are also some clothes on display so you don’t need to pay, in my opinion. Just walk less than a hundred metres up to the street from the manneken pis and you will see this interesting museum

Small museum with all the clothing’s of Mannekin Pis. Interesting and worth it since it’s free with the Brussels Card or visit to Brussels City Museum.

My schedule while in Brussels didn't afford me time to visit the little museum during the open hours, but reading the reviews and online photos about this place made me curious, so I found myself doing a quick walking by and peeking through the display window. From there a small collection of the costumes can be seem, and they look rather cute and adorable. Perhaps I should find some time to pay a visit to go through the entire museum collection.

Great museum to visit if you’re in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You also get free access to the museum in the Grand Place when you buy your ticket here. The guidebook for €1 is worth it as well to discover all the different costumes.

Small but sweet museum. A lot of traditional suits and unique ones. A nice activity for kids (ask for in the front desk). Small entrance fee, and some Sunday's even free

I'm not really a Manneken Pis fan.. It's hard for me to believe that this museum has a ticket to pay for visiting it.. I had a look at it only because it was free entrance, the first Sunday of the month 😅

A lot better than the Manneken Pis statue, but only if you go during the first Sunday of the month, when the entry is free. The exhibition space is small and although they have over a thousand costumes, they only present a small portion at a time

It's a very nice museum. I think it is nice but it is unfortunately too small. It's just one room.

I'd like to say it's a wonderful, little museum. Definitely worth a visit if you have 20-30 minutes to spare. Also, along with a ticket to this museum you get another ticket to another museum. I'd also like to mention the friendly staff who gave me lots of advice on visiting the city. It's great to learn useful tips from the locals.

Small but delightful! Lovely little museum that shows off a set of the 1000+ outfits that have been gifted to MannekenPis since the 17th century. The costumes come from all over the world and are beautifully crafted little masterpieces. It will likely be a brief stop, but one well worth seeing, as it reveals a delightful tradition surrounding the famous statuette.

Did you know there is an official job called the 'dresser of Manneken Pis' that has been in the City of Brussels Archives since 1756? Did you know there is a proper pattern of the outfit with measurements, taking into consideration the posture of the sculpture, that makes it possible to create an outfit in the opposite side of the globe? Did you know that there are more than 1000 costumes, so far, for this little fella???

  • 4/5 Axel K. 3 years ago on Google
