Beautiful building with very spacious exhibitions. They usually have two big shows up, small bookshop and good cafe for a small bite

WIELS is one of best contemporary art centre in the Brussels placed in the former Wielemans brewery. WIELS has three exhibition platforms with a total exhibition space of 1,800 m2 (19,000 sq ft), an auditorium, studio workshops for artists-in-residence, and a café/foyer and bookshop in the monumental brewing hall. WIELS is an international laboratory for the creation and the diffusion of contemporary art. Focusing on visual arts, but granting a particular attention to the crossings and interactions with other disciplines, the centre wishes to present contemporary art in all its diversity and to offer a permanent dialogue with the developments and the most recent debates of the art world.

An amazing art gallery, building with wide rooms and so much potential. And the view at the top is really beautiful.

Beautiful building often used for exhibitions that make use of the huge white spaces. Nice coffee bar in the entry hallway. Wiels used to be the brewery of the once famous Wiels beer. Has several interesting exhibitions each year. From Wieks you can walk to the centre of St Gilles, to have a beer or a bite.

Very cool building with great exhibitions inside. I really appreciate the curatorial choices of contemporary artists from all over the world. It was accessible for wheelchair and baby trolley, it was also engaging young audiences with specific educational material such as podcasts and lists. I would appreciate if the audience engagement towards older generations was more efficient. However overall good experience 💙 I really like how they play with the architecture and make you as a visitor part of it.

Lovely museum but also underrated cafe and bar in the lobby. Nice space to get a drink with a friend, or to get some work done -- can be a bit noisy but has a great atmosphere overall.

Once you battle your way through the ravening horde of vegetarians and vegans thronging the Bio lunch counter at the entrance, then you will enjoy a tranquil few hours of quiet meditation on the various contemporary art exhibitions in a most peculiar building. You have been warned.

Interesting open space with multiple levels of exhibition. Absolutely enjoyed the shows. Staffs are nice. The cafe downstairs was nice too.

Wield has a great calendar of events on top of their longer exhibitions. And has one of the best rooftop views in the city.

Saw some truly inspiring and grand art here and haven't seen anything bad yet. friendly staff. AWESOME building with a nice rooftop patio and scary but cool stairwell (pop your head in the old silo) ;). Will visit back many times with pleasure.

Top floor and entrance is a nice piece of arhitecture. The panorama is more than you would expect. The building also serves as a living space for some upcoming, promising artists.

Not welcoming at the reception, and transphobic bonus. Very surprised for a contemporary art place to get this kind of experience as a Trans person ( who doesn’t experience transphobia in daily life… ) Very disappointing.

Nice modern art museum, located in a former beer brewery. If you check their Facebook page you can sometimes go for free during a vernissage of a new exposition, after hours. If the panoramic rooftop is accessible, you'll had a nice view over the southern part of the city.

The former brewery has been transformed to a museum and center for contemporary art. It also hosts a nice cafe / restaurant in the ground floor.

Assisted the opening of the Francis Alÿs exhibition. Nice exhibition of a great artist. Unfortunately very busy and extremely hot.

This place is a mockery. The exhibit which was there when I visited has to be the worst I've ever seen. Meaningless art with stupid explanations. And obviously the broken glass on the ground that has been done and done again. That was nothing close to art. I didn't write down the 'artist' but if he sees this please get a job or get better.

Nice decoration and ambiance but tasteless and overpriced coffee served in metal cups from which you get burned as metal an heat conductor material

An interesting contemporary art show. You can see several artists on different levels of the beautiful building which has been retranformed from a beer factory into a new museum/ gallery. They also have a small restuarant and bar there. Its a great way to spend a cultural afternoon with a couple of friends or even with children. Several events and conferences, workshops.

Impressive former industrial building which works very well as an exhibition space for contemporary art.
