It was an exceptional tour! Lotta fun with the audio guide, interactions, knowledge sharings and especially the praline demonstration and free chocolate received at the end of the tour! Very yummy! Listening to all the comments, it takes about 1h15 or 1h20 to visit!!! Highly recommended experience!!

Amazing audio tour museum with several interactive exhibits. Our kids (ages 7, 9, and 12) loved this stop...especially the praline demonstration and free chocolate they received at the end!

Lady at the front desk friendly. We were given a listening device so we could do our own tour. You had to scan each number and then listen to the device. There was areas you could smell different flavours and areas you could taste chocolate. There was a demonstration of making chocolate. It was a bit pricey for what it is, but it's something to do when in Brussels.

Very nice small museum in the heart of Brussels (close to Grand Place). This place takes you through the history of chocolate with mini clips, short stories and visual representations. The museum is kid friendly and accessible to people in wheelchair. Spoiler alert, you get to taste a praline after a short demo at the end of the visit.

The place ticket is around 14 euros , I didn't enjoy it as adult but I think kids will like it. At the end of the tour you get to see how they make chocolate and get to taste some nice chocolates then you wil be able to buy some of the chocolates locally made in Brussels

Amazing experience here at the chocolate museum!!!! The staff were very kind and helpful during the whole experience. Also had some presentations of the whole process of making the chocolate. Totally worth it.. We also tried some different types of chocolate here. They were so delicious. The only thing we didn’t like was the long queue. Many people visit this museum,,,, so be prepared for waiting around 20 minutes. Recommend to book before the ticket.

The Chocolate Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone who adores this delicious treat. Upon arrival, you will be given an audio guide that will take you on a journey through the history and culture of chocolate. Learn about its ancient origins in Mesoamerica, its evolution into a prized European commodity, and its modern-day transformation into a global phenomenon. As you make your way through the museum, you will be treated to a variety of interactive exhibits that will engage all of your senses. See how cocoa beans are harvested and processed, and learn about the different techniques used to make different types of chocolate. You will also have the opportunity to sample a variety of chocolates from around the world.

Great experience and possibility to learn more about chocolate, it’s origin and production. The audio guide provides quite a lot of information and there are some interactive games for children (and not only). At the end there’s a cool presentation of making pralines. 🍫

One of the best museum experiences! The museum offers a very immersive experience via decor, music and sensory experiences (olfactive experience via a rig that lets you smell different aromas, like vanilla, corn, etc). Spoiler alert 🚨 at the end you can enjoy a Chocolatier make pralines right in front of you! The best part: You also get the chance to taste at the end. Great experience, definitely recommend!

🍫Museum of chocolate is place which you want visit, but as well taste! History and explaining the process of making chocolate not only in Belgium 🇧🇪 but worldwide. Take you one hour with performance in the end. The price of ticket 🎟 is around 9 EUR per person! Recommend!

The experience is nice and very educational; every step regarding the Chocolate history is well explained. It's better to book in advance during holidays. It is easy to wait outside. I suggest improving instruction for the guests; after taping the box to activate the audio guide, people need to move.

I went in with low expectations thinking this was going to be a gimmicky type of museum but it was the complete opposite! I learned way more about cocoa beans and chocolate than I thought I would. It was super informative and laid out very well. They also had interactive screens that my young daughter enjoyed. Also, there’s a chocolate demonstration at the end, and the praline they made was maybe the best chocolate I’ve ever had.

Firstly I am a chocolate addict lol this self guided tour was great at expanding knowledge of the origins and beginnings of how chocolate was used before the western world discovered it. You get a little speaker that you scan when walking round sharing all sorts of knowledge. There are stations that have scents in them to highlight different ingredients. Then there are different chocolates to taste at the end and also a chocolate praline demonstration. The person taking this was great with everyone and spoke with good English. I would recommend this if you are interested in finding more about the origins of chocolate.

We were surpriced that the history of chocolate was presented in such original and serious way. A lot of new informations there! There is a show of how to do pralines. You can take children there and they won’t be bored. Audio is also in english.

I don't usually like museums, but this one I enjoyed very much. It is all captivating, colourful, knowledgeable, relaxing and tasty. I quess I've tried the most delicious white chocolate. The demo at the end of the tour is also interesting to watch and the pralines are a rainbow in the mouth. The small shop at the exit makes you wanna buy all.

Great museum and very informative. The story of chocolate is very interesting and learned a lot of new information. The museum is suitable for children as there is interactive things to do however a lot of listening to get the full experience so probably not great for young children.

Amazing experience. This is a self-guided with audio tour. Several chocolate tasting along the way and a nice live chocolatier who made a praline chocolate for tasting! If you are privy, you may finish the whole tour in more than an hour or 2! Good enough.

For a weekend trip to Brussels with my classmates, I loved this visit as it was adorable, very fun and educational. We got to taste chocolate, and learn how to make pralines. This was also an interactive museum as we got these little devices that scanned boxes along each artifact and picture and it would play a recording about the facts and history related. It took about an hour and a half to get through. At the end there was a small shop with an amazing selection of chocolates and other products like massage oils and shampoos which are all natural and I highly recommend. The flavor and texture of the chocolates were also quite good. I would recommend buying tickets in advance and not carrying heavy bags as there it a lot of standing and walking required. The Choco-story Museum is also a place to educate yourself and learn a lot about the history of chocolate, so I would only recommend this to people who have this intention, not anyone just looking to taste chocolates.

I really enjoyed my time in this museum. You get an audio guide and be ready to listen a lot, but all the information you will hear is very interesting. At the end you can try the chocolate itself and also see the master class of how the chocolate candies are made, and also try them of course:) the chocolate in the souvenirs shop is also very good

We visited the choc museum in Belgium and really enjoyed the experience. I booked this experience through get your guide and it worked out cheaper. Kids had a lovely holiday and experience. We tried a variety of Belgium chocolates to and watched a live show of how chocolate with a filling is made and then got to taste it.

It is a nice experience It also has some little interactive games that make the tour of the museum more fun. It has interesting information and the tour ends with a demonstration of how pralines are made. The lady who made the presentation was very fun and friendly. And we also got to taste a praline 👍😊

Really fun and educational, could use a bit more context regarding colonial and imperialist history but that's asking a lot. Still worth the visit though. P.S. It's best to book ahead through the website so you can skip the waiting queue, you can choose whether to pay online or on site.

Even for a local it was a well rounded visit. The museum explains well cocoa History and its modern production. I recommend the workshop to create your own bar 😍 Loved it !

Really great tour, pretty much self guided with a little block that you can scan on things to hear information. It was little slow at times and when a lot of people were in one room it got a little clunky but other than that it was great!

Amazing chocolate making workshop ! was such a brillant experience. Our instructor showed us enough that we knew what to do but also allowed us to independently create. We created 4 small chocolate bars, one large, lollipops and drawings- as many as you could in the time! The museum itself has great theming and tasters around. As well as a demonstration.

One of the best places I visited while I was in Brussels. The museum is so beautifully made and something you will not get to see everywhere. When you enter they give you a headset and a type of little device and when you stand in front of somehting it will start telling you the history of it. My favourite part of the museum is when we got to taste freshly made chocolate that two lovely men made in front of us at the moment. At the end of the tour you get to shop from their chocolate store. The chocolates that they sell are so delicious and they were the most well priced in all of Brussels. I would totally recommend to everyone of all ages to visit this museum, it is totally worth it.

Must see museum. They really provide solid info on how to make your own chocolate. Details will halp you to be home profissional. Plus tasting lots of their lovely pieces. Check the pie charts on the wall to recognize the different types of chocolate by percentage of cocoa. They perform a full process of molding and even how to make stuffy chocolate pieces.

The history on chocolate, from the Mayans to the Belgians, with a lot of interesting little facts and a demonstration of tempering chocolate and making pralines at the end. Only an audio-guide though, I would have preferred signs or papers, something I could take home and reread later because I'm sure I forgot most of the information already

(Translated by Google) Very nice museum, I recommend it. We did it with 2 kids 5 and 8 and they really liked it. There are small games on tablets, a demonstration and a tasting. We were able to take pictures, there is a superb musical film, and having to book reduces the number of people present which is very pleasant to visit at ease. A special children's audio guide (although the current one is quite accessible) could be a plus. We will definitely be going back.

The chocolate museum is an experience suitable for families, for children, for adults: in short, for anyone! The history of chocolate is presented with an audio guide, in all available languages. Every hour there is a live presentation from a Maitre chocolatier: and it ends with chocolate offered on the location !!! To do several times !!

It was interesting but I expected more. There was no demonstration this Monday, not sure if due to the pandemic, so this was very disappointing! We only got one small piece of chocolate to taste after the visit. It would have been nice to get a discount on the ticket or to compensate somehow for this.

The place is beautiful and really interested. I truly recommended. The history of chocolate is amazing

An interactive museum that tells the story of chocolate from beans to pralines. A great place for children and people who want to learn something about the history of chocolate. For people who have been interested in chocolate for a long time, rather as a curiosity.

Nice experience. Interesting way to learn the chocolate story. Amusing statues made of chocolate.

Interesting to find out about the history, liked the little boxes for guidance so you could take it all in your own pace 😊

The presentation changed a lot since I was here last. Definitely better. They have good headsets and more video/interactive displays. And free fresh chocolate at the finish

A very interesting exhibition, although I must admit that the museum does not fully use the potential of the topic, which is chocolate. An example is the section on the history of cocoa. Instead of looking at 50 pottery dishes and plastic mannequins, it would be much nicer to be able to taste what the original spicy cocoa tasted like. I think it would be good to expand the exhibition on modern times, because today there are so many chocolate empires. We had a lot of fun with the chocolate-making demonstration. Something really magical. After all, it is worth seeing this place, a must-see in Brussels.

This a must do tour when in town. The history of chocolate was amazing, & the samples towards the end with the chocolate demo was really cool.

Decided to drop by after seeing much hyped (and vastly overrated) Manneken Pis statue which is located in same block. Anaconda statue outside was whimsical and staff inside were friendly. It started out with replica relics of bygone era to illustrate how cocoa bean was originally cultivated and used while gradually moving towards how it is known to us, delicious chocolate. It is rather educational and had many bits of interactive segments to keep you interested. Live Praline making session is held in every 30 minutes and the artisan was full of character despite having only four guests attending the session at the time. Chocolates given out were delicious, well above token souvenir items usually associated with. As Belgium is known for chocolate (among other things), it is worth spending 90 minutes inside.

The tour is really interesting! It shows you step by step how the chocolate is made, from the cocoa beans to the famous Belgian Pralines. The staff is really nice and friendly, the tour is 100% wheelchair friendly, they are really well organised! The final demonstration is really cool, and the chocolate guy is really friendly. The whole staff can speak english, and that’s really good!

For all chocolate enthusiasts out there. This museum displays the history, effect and impact of chocolate very detailed. You can learn a lot and even get to try different flavors of chocolate yourself. All around we would definitely go again if we could. The chocolate as well as the staff were very nice. Strong Recommend

I went to the choco story with my 8 year old and we both loved it. You can buy tickets online as well as at the venue. From the origin of chocolate to today's chocolate making everything was covered. We got to taste 5 types of chocolate and also saw live chocolate/praline making and enjoyed every bit of it. Overall a good experience and worth the tickets. However, if you are not too keen on history and all you may skip it. There is a chocolate store at the end, which has nice collection. We purchased a few to take back to our country.

This is one of the coolest museums I've been to in a while. It's great for the kids and who didn't love chocolate?? The exhibits are quite impressive for such a small museum, and the demonstration at the end was perfect.

Very interesting and informative museum. Convenient audio guides, lots of new information, beautifully designed booths and chocolate making shows with tastings. We had a lot of fun, so we definitely recommend a visit. The only negative is that there is no Ukrainian language in the audio guide 🙁.

Love choco-story, it's a really great interactive museum which is great for adults and families. It's a really great size too where you get a fair bit of detail and the audio tool you get is very informative and interesting. The demonstration at the end was the best and we were so impressed by the staff's upbeat and positive presentation. Would recommend!

Nice to see the history of chocolate and how it has developed over the years. Some great chocolate creations, too. There is a demo near the end where a lady makes some praline chocolates, and you get to try them. They were lovely. There is a gift shop at the end too.

Wonderful museum and chocolate workshop. Coming into Brussels we knew we wanted to learn more about the chocolate making process rather than just eat it. This museum provided in depth explanations, history, and artifacts of the chocolate making business and the workshop was so much fun afterwards. You get to take home everything you make. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Cute little museum about the history of chocolate from its origins. I would have liked to know more about why it is so special in Belgium specifically, but still fun. You get a handheld device to listen to all of the exhibit explanation and there are even cute games for kids (and adults!) too. At the end, there is a wonderful presentation of creating a filled chocolate, so wonderful!! Since there are a few samples, bring hand sanitizer if needed.

My family had a great taste of chocolate made directly by chocolate artisans in choco story . It located in the historic center of Brussels and offers visitors a fascinating and immersive experience into the world of chocolate. The museum explores the origins of cocoa, the history of chocolate-making, and its cultural significance throughout the centuries. As you journey through the museum, you'll learn about the ancient civilizations that first cultivated cocoa beans and the process of transforming them into delicious chocolate. You'll discover the role of chocolate in various cultures, including its use as currency, its association with religious rituals, and its popularity as a treat. Choco-Story showcases a vast collection of chocolate-related artifacts, including antique chocolate molds, tools, and machinery used in the chocolate-making process. You'll also have the opportunity to see skilled chocolatiers in action, demonstrating the art of chocolate making and offering tastings of their delectable creations. Interactive exhibits allow visitors to engage with chocolate in different ways, such as tasting sessions, chocolate workshops, and demonstrations on how to make pralines or truffles. These hands-on experiences provide a fun and educational way to deepen your understanding of chocolate production and indulge your taste buds. The museum also highlights Belgium's unique relationship with chocolate, as the country is renowned for its high-quality chocolate and pralines. You'll have the chance to learn about the Belgian chocolate industry, famous chocolatiers, and the techniques used to create these irresistible treats. Whether you're a chocolate lover, a history enthusiast, or simply curious about the world of chocolate, Choco-Story Brussels offers an engaging and informative experience for visitors of all ages.

If you're looking for something fun to pass a couple of hours in the city I would recommend the Choco Story. We've done a few chocolate museums/experiences and this one was nice and interactive. Lots of immersive settings and an informative audio guide. A huge amount of chocolate related artefacts and treasures to see. And of course at the end you get to see chocolates being made and taste some fantastic pralines!

Rollstuhlgerechter Fahrstuhl + WC. Kostenloses WLAN

It was an awesome trip. Travelling to Brussels and not visiting a chocolate mueseum, it would have made the trip incomplete. I would encourage everyone travelling to Brussels to give this great place a go

I really enjoyed the museum. I have a very unhealthy obsession with chocolate, so this was pretty much an easy win for them. I would suggest the entry price was too expensive for what it was, which removed the star. But the content and information all around the place were brilliant, so I'd recommend regardless

Great museum and experience. Not too long and linear. Goes through the history of chocolate and cacao, it's really interactive and fun. Highly recommend paying it a visit and experience the museum.

Visited the museum with a group outside of normal closing hours. Very satisfied with the explanation, demonstration and tasting we got! It would have been even nicer if machines had been in action as well, but even simply seeing them, getting to know all stages of chocolate-making, was very interesting already. Definitely recommended!!

Came here as a couple. I really liked the little audio set you are given and then being able to scan it as you go around. It was a nice museum. You can then test the white, milk and dark chocolate drops at the end but we didn't get to watch the demonstration as we didn't have time to wait 20 minutes for the next one which was a shame. Overall, it was an alright spent hour or so.

We had a wonderful time. We book the museum and chocolate making class. The class was lots of fun and we took home delicious chocolates. The museum was very well done and the demonstration they did was fabulous and funny and the kids loved it. Great Job!

It's a nice and yummy experience, you get to eat some chocolates and see the interesting history of how is it being made. It could of course improve the interactivity, or even their ways of writing or telling the stories which could sometime be a one-sided narrative.

Thoroughly recommend visiting this interactive and immersive museum! Was the perfect activity for an afternoon in Brussels and we enjoyed every story and the demonstration in particular was educational (as well as delicious).
