Tourist attraction Museum

👍👍 Situated in the Molebeenk Art School, this is a pretty awesome museum because it's easy to go through (1h) and very insightful (lot's of bits of history or Molenbeek and Belgium). People often mention museum,

Very hidden pearl at the local eclectic Academie de Beaux Arts building, this local MoMuse tells the interesting socio-economic story of the real pre- & post-industrial florishing Molenbeek. A MUST-SEE for people really willing to understand the complexity of Brussels-capital and Belgium

Little municipal museum with interesting objects, documents, pictures and maps on the history of Molenbeek. The explanations are very clear and the themes relate to daily life. The museum website is confusing and the opening hours are weird, but it's worth a visit if you want to know more about the history of (this particular area of) Brussels. Currently free ever Sunday (13:00-18:00).

Pleasant surprise, nice museum, a shame about the garbage bag right in front of the entrance, the door was half open, it looked like it was closed, the inner door was also closed.

And to think that I spent years there studying the art of audiovisual and painting!!! I still remember very well all these teachers, its director Thierry Zeno and the concierge who I drove crazy by hiding in the building so that I could continue work during lunchtime 😂. This privilege of having had access to all parts of this building! It's great that it has become a museum after all these years of academy...

The museum won't open at the opening hours, we rang the bell and they won't answer.

👍 This museum has so much to offer. There's a huge yard full of old industrial equipment. The ground floor of the museum shows off many industrial machines, they have a folder in English so you can read along and find out all about the items in display. Upstairs there's a large exhibition on water con...

👍 Very funny sculpture, quite ingenious from the author. Made out of bronze, representative piece of Brussels, you ought to have a snapshot of yourself with it!
