Wait staff was very unfriendly. Did not get greeted for about 15 minutes. The gentleman sitting next to us was so appalled he spoke up about it. We eventually just left because the waiter said we couldn't just order appetizers and beer. Amazing museum, nice views, brunch buffet looked good, awful poor speaking (English) waitstaff.

I found cheating the fact, that you can drink coffee there for 3 euro and could not be allowed to get picture of the most picturesque view of Brussels (the mount of arts). They can give you a place there only if you want to have a dinner. But there is also no guarantee. Probably only table booking can offer you a good view they promise (and they promise it to everyone) but with such cheaters I can't be sure and will not go and try. Yes, you can sit on the terrace with coffee, but the view from that terrace is far not great.

Unfortunately a bit crowded so we could not get one of the seats with the nice views over the city. Drinks reasonably priced. Very delicious apple pie, but for the price of a small meal :) Even though there were a dozen waiters, they forgot to bring the pie initially.

We thought we could have a chill brunch on Sunday but were literally kicked out of the restaurant because we were there for 2 hours and they thought it was long enough. The staff came all the time asking what we wanted to drink because that was not included in the price. While 30 euros for a brunch is already enough. We were treated very unfriendly. And they didn't care. This is not worth the beautiful view. Also not worthy of restaurant, rather tavern.

Despite the other reviews, our waiter was very friendly and spoke perfect English. A delightful place for lunch, this was the BEST QUICHE I've ever had IN MY LIFE. The beer and wine selection was very good, the views were special, and the art nouveau accents are inspiring.

À good ending to Instruments museum; great view; good selection of beers; super cool staff and not so expensive compared to Brussels restaurants! Daily dishes available; the choucroute was not bad at all

Great terrace and great views to the city. The brunch formula has a lot of offer. The food is not over priced and as fresh ingredients. If it is a sunny day, you must consider it. Entry is for everyone, you don't need to be visiting the museum. The service could be faster.

Beautiful view of the city especially under the snow. The food is quite decent. Today’s plat-du-jour was choucroute and it was super tasty.

Le restaurant du MIM, Musical Instruments Museum Restaurant Great view and improved service. I recommend the Sunday brunche. Food is OK and service is nice and friendly.

I’m giving one star solely for the views this restaurant has. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DON’T SPEAK FRENCH. The staff is so incredibly rude which is a shame because the restaurant is pretty and has the potential to be great. My friends and I went for a few drinks and they got us our drinks and made us pay right away not even giving us the option of having more. They then waited for us to finish and told us they needed the table when there were several empty ones around us. I don’t understand why they feel so entitled but I recommend spending your money on a business that values you more. Absolutely terrible experience.

Would not recommend for anything but the view. We arrived there around 3 pm. None of the employees even looked at us, we were just about seating ourselves somewhere when a waitress chased us away from the table we chose. It was next to other people but apparently not served anymore. We found a new table, but it was so loud we could barely talk. We were ignored for about 15 minutes, then ordered drinks. Those were served quickly, but I received wrong advice on "sweet beer like kriek". After no one came to take our food order I went asking and found out the kitchen was already closed. We were starving and very angry, didn't dare to leave without paying though.

The view is amazing, the service was never outstanding, but last time it was especially bad. We just wanted to order a coffe, but then the waiter told us it's not allowed to only drink something (which I often did before) and we must order food. He said it in the rudest way possible and he said it's because it is too full (there were 9 free tables!!) We were basically kicked out. It is ok to have a "not only drinks" policy, but PLEASE don't be so rude.
