Beautiful green space in the heart of Brussels. Great for running and cycling. In the centre one can find the Chalet Robinson where they offer a great brunch or dining experience. That place is truly fantastic and only accessible via tiny ferry. There's also a nice playground not far and overall it has a chill atmosphere.

This is one of the finest parks in Brussels. One can find a lake, serene jogging and walking tracks by the water, passing through jungle and sun exposed. I loved this place.

Beautiful and large green space in the heart of Brussels. Great for running , skating and cycling or walking. In the centre one can find the Chalet Robinson where they offer a great brunch or dining experience. That place is truly fantastic and only accessible via tiny ferry. You can do boating price 10 euro for family boat for 30 minute. You can plan your picnic entire day- you can bring frisbees, badminton, football or other playing material and can enjoy whole day. There's also a nice playground not far and overall it has a chill atmosphere.

The most enchanting woods in the city of Brussels and the most magical part is how they change colour with each season. You can spot a fox or two if you are lucky and the red squirrels are frequently seen. I have the privilege of talking a walk each morning through this woods.

What an amazing park, it is huge , you can find big spaces to have a picnic , there kids, dogs, families , couples, it is for everyone. There is a kiosk to have snacks, drinks etc and 2 restaurants, 1 with burgers, great but a bit expensive and another one in the forest. There are ping pong tables, routes for running and bikes etc. You can spend all day there, it is so beautiful and you feel out of the city. Also you can commute there with tram so you walk a bit to enter the main park as the cars arrive up to a limited point

An enormous public green space in the middle of the city. Lovely forest walks, running tracks, fitness equipment and even a restaurant on an island. Fantastic place to relax.

Great place for relaxing, enjoy nature and just walking with friends and family. Beautiful during the all year! Personally, I love it for running, it has a great variety of inclinations and I prefer roads to terrain.

Huge park to explore, lovely for a pet walk. The benches aren't that well maintained sadly, but it's a nice space to connect with nature.

Wonderful park to visit. Has open spaces surrounding a nice lake. In spring you can also enjoy pedal boats (10 euros for 30 minutes). You can also find nice cycle tracks for biking.

This is my favorite place every weekend to exercise and have a cup of coffee. It is a beautiful way to take a walk for children and adults, and sports activities can be practiced there. It really is a natural outlet inside the turbulent Brussels

Although this park gained popularity during corona times for all those interesting reasons, this is a nice park. It is a great place to go for a walk, run or workout. It is a green nature escape within the Brussels city. I love the landscape of this park because it has small ups and downs and beautiful lake. During the lockdown period I wouldn't really go there on the weekends. 😅😅 But it has been my favorite place to go on a walk after work.

Beautiful large city park with lots of trails for walking and running. Cozy cafes / restaurants to escape from the concrete :) Take a picnic blanket and enjoy by the lake or sit in one of the restaurants. Enjoy waffles or just observe the trees. I definitely recommend.

If you love forest this is the place to go. It's a huge natural forest park, excellent for picnic in hot days and also with excellent biking and jogging trails. But Brussels has mostly rainy days so the forest is wet and dark and if you want to rest (there are few wet old benches) you have to go to a restaurant and it's not cheap.

Beautiful forest in the middle of Paris. Perfect to take the kids, pets or for a walk/run. Amazing for a drink at le chalet Robinson. Better book ahead too!!

  • 5/5 Gaby K. 2 years ago on Google
A great park close to the city, accessible by tramline 25. The park has huge open spaces and beautiful lanes through the wood. There are 2 kiosks to have a drink or food, and there is the very special Chalet Robinson, accessible by boat only. The boat comes to take you over for only € 1,00. On the island you can of course have a meal or drink, but you can as well rent a rowing boat or pedalo and play jeu de boules. And you can be lazy and sit back in the beautiful summer bar area.

Amazing parc which became car free since COVID lockdown. Ideal for walks, exercising, cycling, skating, learning your kids to cycle, etc. There are several places to grab something eat or drink, there's a lake, many hidden paths in the woods, two playgrounds, lots of green fields to have a picnic...

  • 5/5 Cas D. 1 year ago on Google
Best place to run in Brussels by far. You get car-free streets, a nice pond in the middle and it’s always cozy crowded during the day such that you never feel alone. There are also numerous bars where you can meet friends & plenty of grass fields to let your dogs play. Please note that dogs often are not leached! Also note that your electric scooters cannot be park after the anti car perimeter.

Very nice place, better to go on a good weather to benefit from the activity there on the lake. We visited in december it was raining. We had lunch in the restaurant it was bit expensive but tasty then we walked in the forest

Really enjoy this parc, it's very large and has a bit of everything. Open areas for people to play some sports, long concrete roads for people to run or walk, places where people can play with their dogs, places to eat and drink... Even has a parking. I would highly recommend anyone that wants to spend a good time to go there and walk around till their harts content.

A Day to Remember at Bois de la Cambre We recently spent an absolutely delightful day at Bois de la Cambre, and it's safe to say it won't be our last visit. This vast, beautiful park is the perfect setting for outdoor activities and relaxation, offering an excellent retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. We decided to have a picnic, and the park had numerous ideal spots to choose from. We found a lovely place under a leafy tree, which provided just enough shade to keep us cool on a warm day. The park was clean, well-kept, and expansive, providing ample space to maintain a peaceful atmosphere even while being well-attended. Our day was filled with laughter and joy as we played games of Skippity and Uno, and even engaged in some frisbee tossing. The spacious, lush grassy fields provided the perfect backdrop for our games. And for my son, the wide paths throughout the park were a haven for him to ride his bike, safe and uninterrupted. One of the standout aspects of Bois de la Cambre is how beautifully it merges natural tranquility with the vibrancy of family-friendly activities. Children, families, and groups of friends all coexist harmoniously in this serene park setting. The park was well maintained, and it was evident that the city puts effort into keeping this gem clean and inviting. In conclusion, Bois de la Cambre offered us a perfect day out. If you're looking for a wonderful outdoor location for picnics, games, cycling, or simply to relax in Brussels, Bois de la Cambre should undoubtedly be on your list. Visited: May 2023
