Very many stores in the shopping centre Including Florist Card shop Bakery One below, discount store Cafes and more The centre was very clean and spacious Just outside was KISMAT food stall. This was delicious with a friendly proprietor Could not find the car parking.

A comparison would be appropriate here the centre was very run down with budget shop but in contrast the high streets standards was more inviting with character Enchanting exterior... the indoor facility allowed for toilets & shade from rain.. the Management team should find creative ways to make it more of an experience.. it felt like tired old Eastbourne in the old days.. nothing positive to say about it.

Unfortunately what was once a great small shopping centre has been left as a hollow shell with more stores closed then opened. Their is alot of building work going on but this has taken an age to introduce a new shopping centre while other towns have been built around it(yes looking at you bracknell).

A shopping mall with positives and negatives. Well positioned in Maidenhead and with a sufficient car park. However, it has water leaking all year around and slippery floors. It looks older than it is. This shopping mall would deserve a good retouch from a good designer/architect

This is definitely one of the most under rated shopping centres. It has all the strappings of a great shopping Centre on the high street without it's hassles. From post offices to lovely cafes and from pound shops to fancy fashion, it's all available in here.

I very rarely come into Maidenhead Town Centre but came last week to meet my dad for coffee. The Nicolson's Centre is a real sad sight compared to what it was like 10 or so years ago! Poor footfall and not a busy vibe at all! And what happened to the beautiful Christmas Tree and decorations they used to have? Really poor effort now! Still lots of well known retailers in the Nicholson's Centre which is nice to see, especially with the increase in online shopping. They have some really nice pop up shops for Christmas so it's worth coming into town to go to those. Managed to get a few Christmas gifts from these shops. Robert Dyas is always worth a visit too! Can't believe how many Poundlands have popped up in Maidenhead too!!

As someone who grew up in Maidenhead and recently visited after a few years, it was an incredible let down. Vast majority of shops closed down or replaced with pound stores.

Clean and organised. There are basic shops missing! We hope to see more shops in the centre.

Quite a basic mall. There are a few interesting shops there. There's a toilet there too.

Well maintained, sadly many shops empty due high rent. Could do with an independent cafe or sandwich shop.

Place is a dive, needs demolishing...lived in Maidenhead for many many years, shots within are substandard, closing down or always pretty quiet. This place reminds me of Slough! Only place worth visiting here is the coffee shop but even that's cold and exposed.

Just nothing really here to do, all major retailers are gone or are going, although small pop-ups are appearing which are nice as you get to buy and see new things all while supporting local businesses, hopefully it gets refurbished or replaced soon as the town is slowly dying without a commerce hub.

Oh dear. What a tragic place. You feel vulnerable and desperate to escape it as quickly as possible. I assume it will be knocked down soon to make way for the much longed for and improved town centre development. In the meantime you feel as though you're in Slough.

Was a lovely shopping centre. Going downhill with all the redevelopment on the east side of town. Nothing to really draw you in. Same as many other town centres.

Even when just passing though. The lack of a vision and maintenance really shows on this very tired "shopping centre"

a decent, typical cafe nero. sevice was efficient. toilets were clean. the decoration seems a bit outdated in my opinion.

The security guard outside trespass was first class, loveliest lady and really made me feel welcome. I believe her name is Sona though I might have got that wrong, she is the best! She is a shining light in an otherwise dull-ish shopping centre

There are a variety of shops, some independent, so a nice mix for a shopper

I like shopping here as they have some really good deals and sales on.

Never too busy because it's dreadful. Post office and H&M are useful. Starbucks gone. Next gone. Toilets aren't nice but glad they're there. Hasn't been good for 20 years

Lots of closed shops now, it's not like you go there if you don't need to. WHS and Superdrug are the last reasons to go there since tesco closed

The centre is recently feels as if not looked after. Looks dull and half cleaned that makes it feel even more empty. The parking management is a total mess. Like "who cares" or "to hell with it" kind of mess. The centre is rapidly losing its look and feel. It's very lonely

Excellent place. Good shops, a nice coffee and nice people. Coming from Sheffield as I do, I always look forwards to visiting Maidenhead and the town centre.

Not much left in this redundant centre. Town needs less shops and more housing!

Fabulous shopping experience in the heart of Maidenhead. Easy to find in the town centre plenty of parking, Free on Sundays a bonus. Some great shops within the centre, on the weekend we visited they had a pop up crystal shop Mystical Stones that had some amazing crystals and great prices. Overall a great experience, must mention all the hard working staff the security keeping everyone safe and so helpful. Highly Recommended

I didn't have a good experience at this shopping centre today as I was driving into the parking lot I was having trouble trying to get in without scraping my wheels on the kurb. There was a very rude man who would not give me the chance. He refused to reverse his car enough so I could get into the parking lot which had a very tight space for estate cars.. I had to straighten up and he wasn't allowing me to do do so... with his swearing and telling me what a bad driver I am he finally reversed after some other people (whom were also waiting to go in ) told him him to shift his car backwards to give me a chance to get my car in.. I didn't feel like shopping much for I thought he was going to damage my vehicle. We got one thing and left.

All in all its ok for a town shopping centre . The car park is easy enough to use and get parked in then its just a lift away from the main high street . There are a good variety of shops but way too many empty premises . I feel like hairdressers and food shops seem to be the main focus. Could do with a bit of a face lift

Sadly like so many town centre shopping centres, this one is slowly dying. Great Vision Express, but that's about it. The aged car park is genuinely unpleasant and definitely doesn't feel safe at night - definitely worse for wear now.

I have been to a lot of shopping centres and this has been the worst, most disorganised place I have been to. The car park was a death trap with spaces so tight that people can get out of their cars, the turns were to tight and many people scratched their car's. All in all I would recommend going somewhere else and avoid wasting your time.

The centre is old and tired looking much like the rest of the high street. Many empty units only h&m and Robert dyas seem worth spending time in. But I guess this is most shopping centres around the country now.

Seen more open shops during my school trip to Chernobyl back in 1986. Maidenhead offers little when it comes to retail shopping ...luckily the regeneration that has been in place for the last 10 years will soon offer the locals something come the year 2040!? On a serious note, Reading Oracle or Westfield London you'll actually come back with some goods.

This used to be a really good shopping centre and now there are hardly any shops left! Very disappointing as we always have to go out of town to grab the necessities. Even tesco is closed down, nearest one is in Taplow!.. Difficult to get there without a car.

This place is marked for demolition as part of the Maidenhead redevelopment project. To be honest its old and tired and full of shops that no one is particularly interested in so it is probably a good thing is wont be there much longer. Most are just biding their time till they are told to leave. Lets hope it doesn't take them too long to get the job done.

Miserable shopping experience and thoroughly underfunded by the local council. The sooner they can regenerate the town centre and refresh the retail experience the better

Variety of shops within Maidenhead. Nice experience would recommend and visit again

Almost as bad as Slough High Street. Hardly any stores left. Only gave it 1 more star than slough because its not besieged by £1 stores, mobile repair, and Peri Peri stores yet.

👍 A gym, pet shop and home + car essentials. Although there's a Lidl across the corner a Tesco's or Sainsburys would have sealed the deal. Great stop.
