Good variety of shops here. Better when events are happening especially around Christmas

Except for the sad closure of Debenhams the Arc is very pleasant with a nice choice of shops & toilets that are clean.

With units emptying faster than a good bottle whisky, something serious needs to happen and it needs to happen quickly or the rot will really set in. The rents are obviously too high, the rates the same. I saw four empty unit including the old Debenhams store, it's sad to see.

Apart from the shops, coffee in the apex, oh and the immaculate toilets, it's a great place to just wander around and have lunch at the many diverse places on offer.

So good to see this beautiful colourful merry go round. Even found a horse with my name on it. Still a lot of good shops up and running. Debenham being the largest and most unique building (I find it an eyesore) sad to see it sitting there, huge and empty. Good atmosphere, loads of places to eat and a very good street musician playing a piano accordion, real talent there.

Went to the theatre(Apex) for a show, this is the surrounding shopping centre, clean and tidy with a comfortable atmosphere.

Can't score higher as never have long enough to look around and take my time. Always looking at the clock so as to not over run the parking ticket. Such a shame 😔. Thank you for your reply that is good to know, but the last time I parked in the multi storey the car was hit and badly damaged so not to keen on going back.

An excellent place to shop with nearby streets with plenty to offer.. like a retro shop, which has wonderful old clothes to purchase and many other bespoke shops. Plus plenty of eateries.

As I am not familiar with this shopping area a town map erected in market square or by the car park would be helpful, also the baby changing / rooms facilities located in the public toilets, were like siberia,!!! 😱 And if you want to buy a Costa coffee, be prepared for a 45 minute queuing time 😕

The Arc shopping centre is in the town of Bury St Edmunds. Bury is a lovely town with lots of character, it has a beautiful park, with the old abbey ruins, a cathedral, individual shops as well as the usual chains and plenty of places to eat or have a coffee.

The Arc in Bury St Edmunds is a vibrant shopping center with a diverse range of stores and dining options. The layout is spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great place for shopping, dining, and family-friendly entertainment. Parking availability can be challenging during peak times. Overall, a fantastic destination for a day out.

Not bad to visit, but shops are closing down. U would think Primark will pull people in so u would want to open a shop in the arc.

The heart of Bury St Edmunds, loved and welcoming, you may always find a new event and good place to enjoy. Definitely a great visitors and locals venue to attend.

The Arc shopping centre is an area of Bury St Edmunds we have often used and enjoy very much. We feel however that somehow it is hanging on and it's just a matter of time before it succumbs to the enevitable, through no fault of its own. The loss of big names is not unique to BSE. Hopefully this is not the case and the Arc manages to survive and thrive. The open area in front of the theatre is used frequently to put on various events and displays which is making good use. It always appears to be busy most days we visit which is mainly during the week.

I recently visited the Arc Shopping Centre and was thoroughly impressed with the selection of shops and restaurants available. The mall had a great mix of high-end and budget-friendly options, so there was something for everyone. The layout of the mall was easy to navigate, and the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. I particularly appreciated the variety of dining options, which ranged from fast food to sit-down restaurants. There was a food court with a wide selection of cuisines, as well as a number of standalone restaurants scattered throughout the mall. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. In terms of shopping, the Arc Shopping Centre had everything I needed. There were clothing stores for all ages and styles, as well as a number of home goods and electronics stores. The staff at the various shops were helpful and friendly, making it a pleasure to shop there. Overall, I had a great experience at the Arc Shopping Centre and would highly recommend it to others. Whether you're looking to shop or dine, you'll find plenty of options to suit your needs.

This shopping centre/area/precinct type area is fairly small with many shops crammed into the small-ish space but it really does have it all. My favourite place is the waterstones there (i love stationary and books and the smell 😍). There is also a superdry store and generally stores you might not expect to be in a small town. For the kiddies there is a rather large toy shop that seems to cater for everything which i was rather impressed by. I just couldnt get past the small size of it which i suppose was always to be expected but something that i just cant overlook to the point that it made this review lose a star. However, there is a large space in the centre of this place with enough seating space which was quite nice 👍 Outside of the shopping centre there is plenty of pubs being the greene king capital but sadly i didnt have time to stop off on this occasion.

Next, the staff look miserable, instead of assisting folks or covering fitting rooms they appear to be standing around gassing, I worked for Next 852 years ago, In the Midlands, What has happened in this store? So un appealing, staff really don't seem bothered anymore, such a shame, it's a good brand, I'm sure Simon Wolfson would be chuffed at this scathing review

Very nice place to pop into. Not too crowded over the weekend and two cinemas close by to see newly released films.

There are plenty of stores in this area along with great restaurants. Even if you want to walk around to sight see, it's a good place to go.

Nice outdoor shopping centre. All the typical shops (H&M, Next, Waterstones, New Look…) but it’s not overly crowded inside each one. There’s also a nice central space with a merry-go-round and light displays (at Christmas time at least) that are pretty. There’s also a place called Apex that has concerts and lectures and things coming through on a revolving basis, so it’s great to find something to do there the rest of the year. Or just pick a cafe or restaurant and hang out.

Good clean shopping centre next to large car park, links into older part of town with more shops - keep walking and you eventually get to the Abbey and Gardens. Plenty of choice, food and drinks outlets Apex Theatre.

This is a modern shopping centre with some good clothes/shoe shops and cafes. It's on the flat, so good if you have mobility issues. There is a large car park nearby which is Pay and Display. At busy times you might have to park further away.

What bits of it are still open are nice. Lots of higher end outlets and coffee shops to keep the middle classes liberated from their disposable cash

Visited on a Saturday at midday so parking was a bit of a challenge. Decent array of your usual High Street stores. Very interesting architecture and some nice spots to grab a bite to eat or a coffee.

It's the Arc, a massive replacement to the Cattle Market, bringing chain shops to the masses. Apartments above are expensive to buy or rent, and the area is considered too noisy to live in. Many shops have up sticks and left due to high rents and low footfall. The Arc does provide some nice entertainment and activities for kids during holidays, nice touch. Parking is expensive though. But free on Tuesdays after 3pm and only £1 from 6pm any day.

There are a lot of empty buildings. There needs to be some seating offered for shoppers. There is none. Has a lot of potential. The walkway to the town center crosses a road and there are no traffic signals to warn drivers if the foot traffic.

Old buildings meets new style with loads to shop and loads to eat. Would recommend especially better than Ipswich.

Awesome, clean all done by machine . Was very dark in the car park ,but lights came on as you walked. I was in a wheelchair parked level 3 in disabled spot away from anyone else .My husband was with me all the time I would of been more scared if I was alone .

Nice range of shops, cafes and other venues. The demise of Debenhams has left a void in one corner of the shopping centre. A bit of a down side is the car park fees in both the cattle market short stay and long stay on the other side of the dual carriageway. The minium fee in both is £3 for 2 hours. I thought councils were trying to help the town centre pick up again, not deter customers.

  • 3/5 Manda C. 1 year ago on Google
Nice shopping area, luckily the shops I wanted are still there. Parking price could be a lot better £3 for 2 hours is terrible. I will be finding other options for my next visit.

  • 5/5 sarah b. 1 year ago on Google
Great range of shops and restaurants a stones throw from the town centre itself. A new toy shop, men and women's clothes shops and the Apex in the centre are all worth a visit.

  • 4/5 Ollie O. 1 year ago on Google
It’s actually decent here with great current shops however there isn’t much of a choice when it comes to the shops as there aren’t many here. It would be nice to have a few more clothes shops and for it to be bigger but other than that it is fantastic

To the operators of the ARC...please put something in the old Debenhams store...even an indoor food market...with veg...meat...fish.. clothes...shoes...hardware...but not cafes cause bury has far too many

  • 3/5 Darren S. 1 year ago on Google
Would be good if the old Debenham build had been filled with shops ,even let market stalls use it,looking a bit sad for itself.

Very very bad service from peacocks store ! My wife is a wheelchair user and the disabled fitting room has a broken lock & being used for storage of clothes The stand in manager would not allow us to use the fitting room so they lost sales and my wife didn't buy her clothes, disgusting customer service. Although feel bad for the young girl who tried to help.

Nice shopping area. Had better days thou. Around 25-30% shopping area closed. Mostly due to Debenhams. Been here a few times. Unfortunately dogs not allowed inside the eatery areas.Tend in consideration it's an outdoor shopping area. We survived the Ice Cold wind.

👍👍 Nice plaza, good array of shops and all under cover away from the elements of the weather. As much as I couldn't see a sign, only Assisted Dogs are allowed within the complex.
