Visited the place today for the first time along with my husband. It was a dinner date and we love lebanese food. The best part was that the co-owner of the restaurant served us the food, and we thoroughly enjoyed the service and conversations. They are such humble, nice and friendly people and the food was great too. The ambiance was nice as well. We are usually visiting another lebanese place around the corner, but I think we skip that and come back to Shanklish again and again.

Booked this restaurant on Social deal, and my mind was blown by this place. Paying only 20 euros for 2 people for a 6 cold dishes and 3 warm dishes mezze makes it very cheap. But the place is not cheap at all, definitely! The staff is really thoughtful and friendly which is quite a rare thing at these kind of restaurants. The Lebanese food, the typical bread along with the many different cold dishes such as hummus, aubergine spread was delightful! Ofcourse it was way too much for 2 people, we asked for a doggybag and we enjoyed it another time the day after. Highly recommended!

The best Lebanese food in town, and always a great welcome. The aubergine and minced lamb kebab was an absolute delight.

Very tasty food from a genuinely authentic Lebanese restaurant. Great position, and they do takeout too. The staff were happy to help out with suggestions of what dishes complimented each other too. I have been a few times and will definitely return again.

A great place to go for some good Lebanese food with a very casual vibe, you will never feel disturbed and the staff is very kind. Most importantly the food is good. Although I feel as if they have started charging slightly more than they used too. Either way still one of my favorite laid back places to catch up with family and friends
