I came to this place led by reviews and the type of food, and I wasn't disappointed. They don't have a huge variety, which I can understand as the kitchen is fairly small. Regardless of the size, the food was all delicious! They also have unlimited refills for lemonade which is definitely not common and definitely appreciated. It is a self service restaurant (with a buzzer). You cannot reserve unless if it is a big group. It is affordable and definitely worth the money. On the weekends they have a brunch menu until a certain time (which I don't recall). This menu isa lot more limited compared with the standard one but the food is equally good. It was definitely one of my favorite places in Brussels. I came here for dinner and brunch!

Plates have a range of Mediterranean vegetables, olives and pulses and a delicious amount of hummus. Plus I had cauliflower shawarma and my partner had falafel. So good.

Many places lay claim to the mantle of great Middle Eastern food in Brussels, but Pois Chiche could rightfully win it many times over. Behind its small and unassuming exterior across the road from a church square is a restaurant where maybe 20 people could sit. All of them glowing with satisfaction. This is all vegetarian food, super tasty and carefully made. The portions are fair if not overly generous. It’s a ‘come as you are’ kind of place: order from the counter - no cash - pay at once and you will eventually be beckoned by the plastic buzzer. Unlimited hot water for tea or lemonade are both on tap. You will need to serve yourself and clear your own table; but self service is often safe service. The staff are very welcoming and thoughtful. The menu is simple and the simplest option is to have one of everything. The food is the reason to come here and you will not be disappointed. Falafel, mutabal, dolmades, cauliflower shawarma, olives, halloumi, pitta etc. It’s all there and it’s all delicious.

We ordered the Mezze Experience and it was just spot on: tasty, plenty, creative and rich. Vegetarian, and almost 100% vegan. Their own beer is amazing as well! I can definitely recommend this place. Discovered this place during the “couleur cafe” festival and i’ve been hooked ever since. Being Middle Eastern, this is by far the BEST falafels I’ve ever tried. Theyre soft and crunchy and seasoned well. I definitely recommend their falafel wraps for a quick and filling meal. Not to mention that you have UNLIMITED refills on their homemade ice tea/lemonades!

If you like Lebanese food, Pois Chiche is the place for you and if you have never tried it, it's a great start to fall in love with this cuisine. The colorful presentation makes you love vegetables more than vegetables can be loved. I had their brunch, which is quite big for its price (€16,90). So far, it is the cheapest brunch I could find in Brussels. I totally recommend the organic beer from Ginette. The location is quite central, not far from the Central station. Service is good. First off, I drove ~40Kms to just try out this restuarant. The falafel and cauliflower are really tasty and was served warm, its a pity that veggies are served cold and have lost the flavour. We had to wait for a bit and share the table (which is not problem), but tables were not clean. Its also unfortunate that the location is quite noisy because of its vicinity to a busy street. Hoping for a better experience in my next visit.

Usually I just default to a falafel plate at middle eastern restaurants, but the choices were so intriguing that I opted for the chef’s plate (combo platter) and it was a taste sensation! Everything worked so well together that I didn’t want the meal to end. I would have liked a little more flatbread with it, just to add more filling carbs and because it was so good. Olives were a deliciously-marinated appetizer that I enjoyed throwing in with everything else. Also, the staff is very nice and I really like the environmental ethic of the place. No throw-away containers and it looks like they might compost food scraps (not sure about that). Anyway, highly recommended!

Very delicious food. I love the hummus so so much . Everything I ordered was so good Edit : I went today for dinner and the food is no more the same quality as it was the first time I had. I'm still very surprised that they only serve pita bread cold. The hummus was not flavorful either. My partner wanted some warm water and despite asking several times we were not served warm water.
