The complexity of the food, and how well the balance is maintained really lives up to this place's namesake. The passion for gastronomy of the chef shines through with the multitude of flavours and textures of the dishes. I usually care more about the food than the decor, but the work put into the garden is very impressive and was a great delight. The set dinner is pretty worth, as it comes with a great variety of dishes which allow the chef to showcase his abilities.

Fabulous food and lovely dining experience. Very caring service and deliciously well executed dishes made from top quality ingredients. Don't fear the flavor combinations; trust the tasting menu and you will befriend the sour and the sweet. All the dishes are well thought out and very artfully crafted. If you can, try to get a table in the kookily decorated terrace at the back for the full on experience.

A lot of Sauce, but not much Art... Small quantities, medium taste, high prices. Many ingredients that do not hold together, sloppy presentation, more ambition than result. Even the bread was disappointing. Decent service. Do not recommend.

After arriving late into Brussels our accommodation recommend Artisauce to us. On arrival the restaurant was packed! Greeted warmley by the front of house and when they realise my French was not much more than "Bonsoir" sent for the English speaking Manager. It was like having your personal translator. Took time to read through the French only menu telling us everything about the amazing sounding dishes. The food was completely OUTSTANDING! Every course was faultless in my opinion. The tuna to start melted in my mouth followed by probably the most delicious duck I have every had. Even had to have dessert which I would normally not bother. This might seem a little over the top review but you must eat here and you will understand why!!! A MUST if your ever in Brussels.

Very cozy and intimate family-owned restaurant. Quiete, best for couples or small groups. I suggest to book, few tables. The location is generally simple, neither too simple or "posh" . Very high quality plates even though the choice in the menu is a little bit short. I chose a fish menu and I was delighted. Good portions (you don't go out hungry) but still well presented. Even the dessert is at the same level of the other courses, exceptional! Very nice the owners, they suggested us a very good wine to couple with the menu. The son is the cook, coming from a starred restaurant kitchen. A little bit overpriced but in line with the quality of the plates and however wirh the average prices of Brussels. Definitively suggested

Beautiful atmosphere. We sat outside in their garden and the flowers were all blooming. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Our French is not very good so he explained the whole menu to us and gave us suggestions on what to try. They only have one wine by the glass, but it was excellent and I would highly recommend it. The servings are quite large and the food was very tasty. There is quite a large drink menu that was reasonably priced.

My favorite fancy restaurant in Brussels. Seasonal menus, and each dish is masterfully presented, interesting, and delicious. Quite often there will be a "ooh, I've never tasted anything like that before" thing in the menu, so I like to check the menu on occasion just to see! It's a bit pricy, but it's worth it for special occasions or when they have something that sounds interesting! They even have special menus on certain holidays like Valentine's Day. Aside from the menu, the restaurant is nice and small, so it doesn't get too loud, and the chefs are very nice and the table service is excellent, each dish is explained to you when it's brought to the table by one of the chefs.

The food was excellent. A limited menu, but as a result the food was perfect. A good wine selection as well. I thoroughly recommend.

The usual high standard maintained in a takeaway format :) We are long time visitors and lovers of Artisauce's exquisite cuisine. When trying their takeaway in these special times, the same excellent quality of ingredients and signature delicious sauce offerings stand out. Finally, the personalised instructions for heating up each of the dishes really gives that extra restaurant "feeling" that you rarely find when getting takeaway :) Ravioles were scrumptious :) We ordered the following: ENTRÉES : Tataki de thon x 2 Ravioles de cerf x 1 PLATS: Médaillon de biche x 1 Filet de daurade x 1 Entremet framboise & pistache x 1

We visited the restaurant for the first time and chose the menu "Artisauce d'été". It was very much refreshing, perfect for a summer evening in Brussels, well thought out with unique flavour combinations and well presented with attention to the smallest detail. Welcoming atmosphere, very peaceful garden. Tout simplement magnifique!😉 Looking forward to trying the team's suggestion for the next season!

Bit of a hidden gem. Creative (but balanced) and really well-executed dishes. And very attentive service. Would absolutely recommend.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while but it’s the location that seems a bit off on a very quiet section of Ixelles. The aqua exterior throws you off a little then the back garden which is big and well tended has some bright psychedelic wall paintings that are not inline with what this restaurant is about - fine French cuisine. We ordered 3 course menu from the carte it’s 75€. Albeit on the expensive side great food and nice waiting staff overall a very nice experience but somehow the deco needs to reflect that ‘haute cuisine’

The food was very good, nice service. I just think that when you spend 35 euro a course that the interior design could have been elevated. I'm an interior architect so I know I'm picky but I think a fairly pricey place needs an equal atmosphere.

Wonderful, cozy little restaurant for a romantic meal. They have a prix-fixe menu which seems a little on the expensive side but is worth it. The menu is seasonal and everything is artisanally made. The father-son team that run the place are really nice too.

I booked a reservation for my birthday celebration with my family, but unfortunately, the experience with Artisauce was disappointing. The food was served exceptionally slowly, even though we were the first table to be attended to, and last table to leave. Surprisingly, there was only one person in the kitchen preparing our seven-course meal, and it took us three hours + to finish. To our disbelief, my family and I even fell asleep while waiting for the remaining courses to be served. The overall pace was excessively slow, and, to be honest, the food, especially the Artichoke, taste so bitter. This has been the worst fine dining experience I have ever had.

👍👍 How in the world this shop doesn't have 5 stars. Come on people. One of the best in Brussels. It tops almost all the list in any internet blogs you may visit for the top10 Frites in Belgium and it deserves it. Taste is very crispy on the outside. Lots of place to sit with your friends outside to ha...
