I am sharing my "funny" story at this hospital. Believe it or not they took a sample of my blood, send it to the lab and forgot to perform any analysis. A few days after my blood collection, I went to the doctor to check the results. She checked on the system and could see that the blood had been collected however, she could not see the results. Apparently they didn't do anything with the blood they collected. Either they forgot to do it or lost the papers with the correct exams to perform. Probably, it was too much of a hassle to call the patient to excuse and ask to take another sample. So they just left the results empty in the system. That's the patient's problem in the end. Just one more number for them. Neeext! I wasted my time, my money (because I paid) and my blood. I had to repeat the test again and wasted more time, more money (yes, I had to pay again ) and more blood.

After a great experience at Cesar De Paepe and very satisfactory experience at the emergency services last Thursday, I was surprised by the overall bad score of the hospital. I now understand better all the bad reviews, having experienced it myself. I came here as I had an appointment with Orthopedic services for a broken toe. The person at the main information desk informed me it was not the right building and gave me directions, which happened to send me away from where I should have gone. Thanks for Google maps. Gotta love walking needlessly on a broken toe. So much for me arriving 15' before my appointment as requested. Upon arriving at the right building, two out of three lifts were out of order. Despite being on time for my 9:50am appointment, I was told by patronising staff at the orthopedic information desk that it didn't matter if I had an appointment, I had to take a ticket and queue like everyone else... What exactly is the point giving people appointments if, in the end, only the time you show up seems to influence the patient order? Considering the poor signage and confusing information given by the Orthopedic information staff, I started looking around to see if I was indeed at the right service, only to be scolded for not following their directions and told to sit back with everyone else. After 30', my number came up and after taking all my information I was sent to a second waiting room where I was promptly called to Dr. Appelmons and nurse, to whom I give 5* for their kindness and expertise. Efforts should be made to organise all this a bit better and to talk to patients, most of whom are in pain and confused, with a kind, gentle, compassionate tone, not as if they're unruly pupils in a schoolyard. Very unimpressed by today's experience.

I called for an appointment with a dermatologist for my two year old child. We had to wait over a month. When we went to the hospital it appeared the doctor wasn’t even there and the appointment has not even been registered. So I stood there with my two year old son, completely soaked from rain and they didn’t even excuse themselves. Very unprofessional, never again!

Even one star is too much for this hospital. After waiting 40 min on the phone to speak to an agent about my bill, I had a very rude and useless agent on the phone. He told me if there was a mistake on my bill I should come myself to the hospital and talk to the doctors and tell they made a mistake in the bill. He only kept repeating the same thing and when I wanted to say a word he would barely let me place even a single word. Finally when I wanted to speak up, while I was talking he kept saying 'yeah yeah yeah yeah'. That person just had an attitude that wasn't professional, and not polite. Now thats not the only thing I had an appointment, was waiting for an hour, then asked the receptionist how long am I supposed to wait? The doctor is an hour late for my appt ? She said oh sorry the doctor is busy I have no idea how long you will still be waiting for and I dont even know where the doctor is??? You are a bunch of timewasters!

I spent two days at the phone to try to get an appointment with a specialist. Last time: connected me to the wrong department (gynecologie instead of dermatologie), then had to do 20 minutes of waiting to talk with the switchboard and then again line fell. I won't go there finally, if they cannot use the phone I wonder the quality of the medical services...

Never get your teeth done there ... im in pain for 20 days because dentist darinont didn’t notice i had an infected root canal and he placed a dental crown on top of it !!! Plus he didn’t notice my resistance to anesthesia I saw him again in order to see what was the problem he gave me a toothpaste and sent me away I called the reception wanting to discuss with him .. the receptionist said that they don’t have a dentist called darinont I’ll file a court case against darinont because I’m going through extreme pain and i have to take an opioid medication for it... I went to another dentist and he refused to preform a root canal operation because in saint pierre they made everything worse The only thing i can do is to wait for my appointment with a specialist to get the intervention done During this time i have alot of stress because the infection went down to my jaw and might spread to my brain These people aren’t trust worthy and can kill you with their lack of experience

This hospital is the worst hospital in Brussels.Basic but golden patient right as INFORMED CONSENT is not respected.Patients are not informed about alternative ways of treatment. They have a lack of knowledge about which type of anesthesia would be applied or they like to see people suffer from pain. The patient is not informed about what type of Anesthesia would be applied until surgery time.It is a surprise for the patient. Post surgery symptoms are mystery for the patient because the patient is not informed about them neither. Biased mediation service which may not answer the patient for years and ignore the complaints.Trying to protect the staff instead of being in the middle.Trying to sweep the matters under the carpet and act like nothing happened. One mediator is not aware of the complaints done to a previous mediator. So they ask the patient to be their reminder.Probably switching from one mediator to another frequently thinking they screw it up. Amateurs with best equipment in the world. Amateurs suffering from inferiority complex. Amateurs don't want to claim responsibility. If you don't want to suffer from a life long lasting trauma, take my word;don't go to Saint Pierre Hospital for a consultation.

Having an appointment with the hospital’s ultrasound department this morning at 9:00 a.m., I’m naturally looking to locate the department on the entrance sign: ultrasound - route 206. I go to this service and wait my turn to record for 15 minutes. After that, they explain to me that this is the ultrasound service for pregnant women and that I have to go to another place in the hospital, in radiology. I arrive at the right service at the hour of my appointment, with 15 people in line. I am to late of course, I have to go back home. This hospital is a mess.

DON'T GO EVER TO THIS SCAM HOSPITAL. I'm quite new to Belgium and I went with my wife since she was suffering from high fever and sore throats. They didn't consider it an emergency. We visited them in the morning at 9AM and we waited 9+ hours at least to get some medicine because it was on the weekend and I couldn't find a General Physician (GP). Around 12PM they took 3 blood samples and waited till 3PM to get the results. Due to the late response I asked about the blood reports. Their response was  they had misplaced the blood samples and therefore were not able to give reports. What a irresponsible answer it was ? Again I did check with the doctor what has happened, She also told me, in this hospital it's normal, always these types of misplace things happen often. I was completely shocked with the answer and I was so disappointed and frustrated about time waste and money. After this incident again we gave blood and around 5PM they confirmed, they don't see issues in the blood reports and Monday please refer the GP for medicine. After all and all, It was a waste of money and time with this hell place. 1. Is this really a hospital? Does this really care about patients ? 2. Blood sample misplacement - who was responsible ? If doctors/no one cares about the responsibility, To whom should we complain about this ? If such a case often happens what an insane place this is ? 3. Can we trust even any other medical report from this hospital ? 4. Doesn't it have any quality check gates, rules and regulations for this hospital defined by the Belgian government ? THIS SCAM PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED OR NEED BELGIAN GOVERNMENT ATTENTION TO FORCE QUALITY CHECK GATES, RULES AND REGULATIONS.

Not yet got a chance to visit here, but my appointment was replied to after ten days, can you believe it? But this was just a reply to ask me for a day that meets my schedule and the doctor’s one. So after ten days, I still need to discuss a date, and then it would have taken more time till I could even meet the doctor. Maybe I would have died then.

Easy to get an CT scan, and the staff were efficient and quick. Had day surgery: Very good and easy. I side is modern. Clean. Got ice-cream. Attentive staff, doctors, and nurses. I chose a double room/chambre communale. Important to note that the Admissions defaulted to a single room, which I changed to communale room. The single room means a patient always pays 300% on top pf the final bill. e.g if bill is €1000 then the hospital charges €3000, and most Belgian insurances do not cover this extra fee. Even if they say its a chambre communale, double check. This is same problem with all Belgian hospitals that I visited: If patient is foreign and thought to be an "expat" then whack up the bill if possible, because they erroneously think they are cashcows. Poorly signposted hospital. One kind doctor sent me the right way to Radiologie dept. They have at least three different buildings in the same s site that are hard to find. It is a maze. Stromatology: Had a chronic ( two years old) problem, but doctor wasn't interested because he was too busy. I have had to book an appointment with UZ Leuven instead, because they offer private appointments and maybe have more time than CHu St Pierre. :-(

The most terrible hospital in the capital. No empathy, hours and hours of waiting to be thrown out. I strongly advise anyone who is suffering not to go to the MoliĂšre emergency room. They don't care about your suffering, disgusting staff, never again in my life. No kindness, you're just a number. I saw a gentleman with his hand cut off. If he hadn't forced the door, he would have died. No priority in cases. I saw lots of people suffering for hours. The most horrible hospital in Brussels.

I'm going there for 6 years now. I have been to the emergency room for both of my kids and me (on separate visits), both of my kids was born there, I have only good words for them. I have seen many stuff members, it is true that sometimes they can react a bit harsh in the ER but it is only cause they are stressed by their job. My son broke his arm and we went twice to one doctor. The first time he was 'unpleasant' because they 3 had a full schedule, and one of the doctors didn't show up, so they had to take one and half schedule each. The next time we went to him he was completely changed. He was normal, pleasant, reassuring my son... People who are working there are great, you can ask what ever you want they are there for you. This is a hospital that I recommend, that I choose, and I will continue choosing it.

3 operations in 1 year and passage to intensive care for the heart. I have nothing to complain about in terms of quality of care and I had the chance to meet excellent doctors and dedicated nurses. The problem with double rooms is that sometimes the person sharing the room lacks good manners (I suppose the same problem in all hospitals). In terms of consultations with excellent doctors, the concern is more at the secretariat level. Ex: we talk about our private life on the phone while you wait... we don't bother to call another department to give you an appointment in medical imaging, you have to go down to make an appointment and then go back up to make an appointment with the doctor, etc. Overall very satisfied.

It has been several months since it became more than painful....and most discouraging...to make appointments......waiting list in the excessively long call queue...until 30 min wait!!!!!!...not to mention that when you are given a service, the communication is cut off and you can start all over again. I also did the automatic call back procedure during the day..... also a hassle..... no time to answer if you don't have your phone in your hand..... if you are called back of course.... In short, unless you go to each department..... practical!!!!!.... especially coming from quite far away..... you must take a good herbal tea and indulge in a session of relaxation to get your appointment!!!!!!!...and above all have an unlimited subscription!!!!!!

(Translated by Google) Very bad experience in cardiology. After a stent placement, I feel uneasy in the hallway on the stretcher, while I was waiting to be brought back to the room. No matter how much I called or shouted, no one came to me. In desperation and just before I pass out, I raise my arm. Finally, a nurse notices my call and, after twenty minutes of injections, oxygenation and massages, the medical team makes me regain some strength. Rather than bring me back to the room, they decide to make me spend the night in intensive care, just to remain under constant surveillance. The doctor who put the stent in me promises to phone my wife to reassure her (in intensive care, it is impossible to communicate with the outside). However, around 9 o'clock in the evening, four hours after my admission to intensive care, I was handed the phone. My wife, in tears, had no news from me and explained to me that she has been trying to contact me for hours. The doctor never called him. A shame ! A hello and a small smile do not seem to be part of the usual practices of the staff in the stomatology section. It's a shame because in principle, when you go to the hospital, it's not for fun. In this case, the welcome and the staff are all important factors for the well-being of the patient. And oral conditions are never a pleasure. When I come for an extraction of teeth and I go back there because contrary to what I was told, I "die" of pain and my face has tripled in size, I expect a minimum of sympathy . In short, I will not go back but I sincerely hope that other people will have a more pleasant experience than mine.

Absolutely horrible patient/costumer service, minimal minimal effort and an unbelievably messy and chaotic building and system. Met one lovely nurse, but it's still a 1 start from me!

Honestly very bad experience, I came with my 6 year old child and they made us wait for hours, my daughter cried, but it seems like they don't care about the pain of a child, if you don't cannot ensure the timing, add more doctors and not nurses who are of no use and who only laugh at reception while lots of other children suffer at the same time!!!

Very poor "accueil" in emergency, they never registered any details as me as patient, I got lost, the 3 hosts in the ward where I had to be checked by Dr Retif had been rude, they asked me to have a sit but never checked my details in. I felt misguided. I had a traumatic injury and I was waiting for this appointment since more than 1 year as NHS lists jad a very long waiting time. I was travelling fro london all night before in the freezing cold, I jad been really disappointed as the rude hosts was just pleasuring at seeing female patients in pain, it had been the most horrifying experience in belgian hospitals never that again! Their care used to be good long time ago, I was born in thar hospital, in end 70ies the pictures I keep ain my memory were warm, made of medical advances researchers and not so inco.oetent new fresh starters who my time a real nightmare..do not go there if you are a foreigner you will.never be seen and helped outnot even in emergencies.all rubbish

(Translated by Google) Very bad experiences, first of all in the pediatric department in hospital. My 6 month old baby hospitalized for pneumonia. We are put in a room with a baby who must not be in contact with viruses and / or bacteria. A few hours later, after mom's request, we are moved to another room. A very rude nurse, she even apologized for her behavior the next day. Secondly, in the orthopedic department, there are patients to fall for a single doctor who is overwhelmed and examines in 5 minutes. On the other hand, the delivery service and the super maternity service. The doctors in these departments are competent. Une infirmiĂšre trĂšs dĂ©sagrĂ©able, elle s'est mĂȘme excusĂ©e pour son comportement le lendemain. DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM!!! My GP sent me to the hospital because I've been having severe migraines every few days for a month and a half. This was the closest one, so I went to Urgences, as she had instructed. I went in, signed in, had my vitals taken very quickly. Unfortunately, I was suffering from a migraine at this time already, so loud noises and lights were bothering me quite a bit. The nurse who took me in knew this, and still placed me in the waiting hall where an alarm was going off nonstop and, because this is a hospital, of course it was brightly lit. I figured this would be okay. I just have to get a scan, as the doctor's note indicated. I was in this area for two hours. Unsurprisingly, the noise and lights got to be too much and I ended up violently crying from the pain multiple times. The nurses all literally hid during these time periods. I was comforted by OTHER PATIENTS and at least given tissues by a JANITOR. I went to the nurses to try and figure out what was happening twice. Both times, they were quite rude. The first time I asked if I'd be getting my scan. I was told I needed to be seen by a doctor first. Fair enough. One hour later, I was told I needed to wait to be admitted to a bed. Then I'd have to wait to be seen by a doctor, who would decide if I needed to have a scan. Both times, the nurses in the room were very rude, trying to push off having to deal with the patient onto each other, and answering my questions very reluctantly. This is the second time I've been to this emergency room. The first time, I was there with my mother because of stomach pains that turned out to be appendicitis. We waited 12 hours for her surgery, during which time the radiologist refused to do her scans and the nurses just straight up forgot to give my mother pain medication prescribed by the doctor. DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM!!!

Dr. Ikram Boutrika and the staff, Please accept this note as a sincere thank you for the care you provided in the afternoon of September 7, immediately after my admittance to the St. Peter's emergency room. Obviously I had other plans for that afternoon but you made me feel comfortable under the circumstances and were very thorough, diligent and determined in the care you provided. You did not take shortcuts to get rid of a pesky tourist and made sure I understood release from the hospital would only happen once you were totally convinced I would be completely safe to travel onwards. Thank you again!!!
