DO
NOT
GO
TO
THIS
EMERGENCY
ROOM!!!
My
GP
sent
me
to
the
hospital
because
I've
been
having
severe
migraines
every
few
days
for
a
month
and
a
half.
This
was
the
closest
one,
so
I
went
to
Urgences,
as
she
had
instructed.
I
went
in,
signed
in,
had
my
vitals
taken
very
quickly.
Unfortunately,
I
was
suffering
from
a
migraine
at
this
time
already,
so
loud
noises
and
lights
were
bothering
me
quite
a
bit.
The
nurse
who
took
me
in
knew
this,
and
still
placed
me
in
the
waiting
hall
where
an
alarm
was
going
off
nonstop
and,
because
this
is
a
hospital,
of
course
it
was
brightly
lit.
I
figured
this
would
be
okay.
I
just
have
to
get
a
scan,
as
the
doctor's
note
indicated.
I
was
in
this
area
for
two
hours.
Unsurprisingly,
the
noise
and
lights
got
to
be
too
much
and
I
ended
up
violently
crying
from
the
pain
multiple
times.
The
nurses
all
literally
hid
during
these
time
periods.
I
was
comforted
by
OTHER
PATIENTS
and
at
least
given
tissues
by
a
JANITOR.
I
went
to
the
nurses
to
try
and
figure
out
what
was
happening
twice.
Both
times,
they
were
quite
rude.
The
first
time
I
asked
if
I'd
be
getting
my
scan.
I
was
told
I
needed
to
be
seen
by
a
doctor
first.
Fair
enough.
One
hour
later,
I
was
told
I
needed
to
wait
to
be
admitted
to
a
bed.
Then
I'd
have
to
wait
to
be
seen
by
a
doctor,
who
would
decide
if
I
needed
to
have
a
scan.
Both
times,
the
nurses
in
the
room
were
very
rude,
trying
to
push
off
having
to
deal
with
the
patient
onto
each
other,
and
answering
my
questions
very
reluctantly.
This
is
the
second
time
I've
been
to
this
emergency
room.
The
first
time,
I
was
there
with
my
mother
because
of
stomach
pains
that
turned
out
to
be
appendicitis.
We
waited
12
hours
for
her
surgery,
during
which
time
the
radiologist
refused
to
do
her
scans
and
the
nurses
just
straight
up
forgot
to
give
my
mother
pain
medication
prescribed
by
the
doctor.
DO
NOT
GO
TO
THIS
EMERGENCY
ROOM!!!
