Do not go there for an emergency!!! We brought a friend with a severe finger injury, a bleeding open wound with missing flesh and damaged bone, and had to wait 1 hour to be admitted and 2 more hours to receive care! They did 3 injections for nothing, because they realized that he needed surgery, which they could not do right away. They promised to call the next morning to schedule the surgery but did not call and we had to go there again to wait some more! I kept asking if we should go elsewhere to receive proper care, but they did not want to redirect me… Why do they not care about the patients’ welfare? In case of an emergency, go to CHU Saint Pierre or Saint Luc. This hospital is good if you have an appointment with a doctor. It is modern and has good equipment. It also has a good birth facility.

Starting from the beginning of pregnancy to the delivery and even after, our entire experience was nothing but exceptional. The team of doctors and midwives in the delivery room were very professional, empathetic and patient with us. Fortunately they spoke English and we never really had any language barriers. They took great care of my wife and I can highly recommend this hospital for giving birth.

I gave birth to my first child here and the entire experience was very positive. I have very fond memories of my time there! All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were great, and had I not relocated out of Belgium, I would absolutely go here again for future births! Thank you to the team!

Good hospital that helped me with an almost broken elbow and ran a radiographic exam on my arm. But there is something serious that the nurses didn't take too seriously, and that is the fact that an elderly couple entered the emergencies *WITHOUT A FACE MASK ON* and when I asked a nurse whether there was someone to make sure that everyone who entered had a mask on, he simply told me : "No, we don't." Absolutely shameful! Eventually, a nurse gave them masks that they then put on.

I had the best delivery at the hospital. All the staff is patient, kind and goes above and beyond to help new parents orient themselves in the amazing journey of parenthood. A special thank you to midwives and my OBGYN Romana for an amazing experience.

Honestly not the greatest. Aside from the ER staff being rather unpleasant and seemingly unmotivated, their language skills aside from french are rather sub-par. I know they are under no real obligation to learn any other language, but when you get admitted there via ambulance you are in no position to choose another hospital either. Thankfully I do speak French (tho I’d rather have had the chance to explain my medical history in Dutch) but if I didn’t I would’ve been in a lot of trouble.

Reciption staff mean she spoke French and I didn't understand and I said do you speak Netherlands please and she was so mean and then I spoke only Netherlands and forced her to speak. reciption in hospital should understand both languages of this country basic at least.

I will share my experience today with my baby april 27 2021in ORS department, i go 8am to see a doctor because my baby has an ear infection, but the receptionist gave us a RDV to go back at 11:30 because there is no doctor present yet, so i we came back at 11:30, then the receptionist in the 1st floor told me to wait and the doctor will call me to see by babys ear, them suddenly an elderly woman approach me in French if i with my baby to check his ear but to be honest i dont know much French language but i understand her a bit and i said yes i come for my babys ear because therr is an infection, and she ask me to follow her and we go to a small room and she start putting a device on my baby's ear she didn't even bother to see ut before putting the machine and i know will enough that it is not the right treatment, and i keep telling her that my babys ear got an infection and she keep saying. Oui, Oui, oui, means but when i saw that my babys ear is bleeding i get angry because his crying a lot, and she stop and take us to the waiting area again and said wait here, i i panic because she doesn't even bother to clean the blood or apply a first aid and my babys only 3 months old, i get furious because my baby fells not ok. And i talk to other staff they said im busy, wait just wait here, blah blah blah. But luckily the receptionist help me because i keep telling them that the nurse took a wrong test to my baby and his ear is bleeding and i wait for like 15 minutes before they help us and i start talking to the doctor and the doctor is very helpful and he told me there is a scratch in his ear and i told here that maybe because the nurse put some earphone device on his ear and she told me to relax and there is nothing to worry. I didn't even heard an apology for what happened very unprofessional for not helping early, im very disappointed but still happy for the other staff that helps me.

I don't know where to start from. Unfortunately I gave birth to this horrible "hospital". I had a c section and after the anesthesia wore off I began to feel an extraordinary beyond imagination pain which was unusual. I was begging the midwifes to give me pain relief and all they were telling me was "I can't do anything". They were giving me PARACETAMOL FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Nodoby cared that I was screaming like a wounded animal and I had to call my doctor in order for something to be done! Eventually the anesthetist came to my room and he had to give me 6 INJECTIONS of morphine in order for me to stop feeling the pain. This is how bad the situation was. The only thing I wish to these horrible midwifes is to rot in hell.

The administration cancelled my urgently made appointment (booked by their own neurologist), and made it difficult for me to make diagnostic exams including the two MRIs. What a mess. The consultants I saw were good. Hospital is a maze and designed to get lost in! Related question to the hospitals: Why do patients gave to plead with administration to get diagnostic tests and images when referred to them by their own doctors, or any other doctor? Why must we "convince " you that it is urgent? Why not let the consultants book the exam into the system on their computer?

This hospital is to be totally avoided. I went to the emergency service and they treated me like a criminal (even thought it was an emergency). While I could not see a doctor/nurse (I ended up in Delta where they treated me with respect and they did the surgery the day after), they still charged me 55 euros to talk to the secretary. It is a total shame to be called a public hospital. I made a complaint, not for the money but for the principle, and while they told me that they will come back to me, I have been waiting for linger than 6 months! In short, if possible, check alternative hospitals as they are more serious.

Only 1 doctor available in the ER? We’ve been waiting for 3h when only 4 people are waiting. It’s not even crowded. Absurd.

Unprofessional doctors behaviour. I’ve missed an appointment and the doctor has punished me by giving me a useless appointment with a different doctor. When I have appeared for that one they sent me back to her by only giving me a new appointment and not doing anything. If the first doctor didn’t want to take me anymore or she’s given me a fine I would have been ok. But to treat people like kids is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Following a fall that resulted in a triple collarbone fracture, I was taken by ambulance to this hospital at 4am on a Monday morning. There was absolutely nobody present in the emergency area. After sitting there for an hour, I was forced to get a taxi and come back home. It was only a day later that I went to a better hospital and was diagnosed and operated. I am shocked and surprised that this hospital continues to exist and is legally permitted to claim that it caters 24/7 to emergencies. Moreover, what kind of cretins are the ambulance paramedics to take people to such a dump? Are they not aware they need to take patients to a hospital where there would at least be someone to take the patient under charge? Call it Belgian surrealism, but it really makes me regret my decision to move to this so-called first world country. Where's the zero star option to accompany this review?

Never ever ever go to this hospital or emergency. Ever! Unfortunately we dealt with live threatening false diagnoses that nearly destroyed ou family. Unprofessional, incompetent without end. Yes, the maternity is good.... everything else is really dangerous! I repeat, the unprofessionalism can cost your life.

I’ve been coming to this hospital for 8 years now, from first and second pregnancies to birth and plenty of A&Es since 🤦‍♀️. Each time they are so efficient, helpful and kind. I can only recommend this place. Thank you to the docs and nurses 🙏🙏🙏

My husband had a strong problem with the back, couldnt move anymore and the ambulance brought us to this hospital. They gave him strong painkillers by injecture and in veins, afterwards they suggested he should go home and come the day after for a scan. I insisted for him to stay, since he was still in pain and their idea was not feasible. So, they admitted him for the night. The scan showed sever issues at the back, and they fixed an appointment...only 2 and a half week later....fine. Fast forward, my husband goes for the appointment and...they forgot to call him to cancel the appointment, and rescheduled it the week later! And of course, in the meantime he still needs to take strong medications while waiting for an exact diagnosis and therapy. Not happy !

The worst ER service I’ve ever been to. 9h wasted today for 3 blood works. The triage lady was completely useless and instead of calling the gynaecologist as I asked cause they told me to come she made me waste 3 hours for the GP who ended up sending me back to the Gyne. Go anywhere else

If you have an emergency, do not go to that place. Their ER is essentially treated like a dispensary where you will not be seen in a timely manner, if at all. I live 5 minutes away from the hospital so I really really wanted this to work, but every single time I’ve gone there with my children, I’ve had to wait minimum 2 hours for a potential doctor to show up. 6/10 times I’ve had to walk out because the pediatrician was out ay lunch or assisting a birth. If you have an emergency, save yourself some time (and frustration) by going directly to Delta, or anywhere else for that matter.

Went last night to pediatric emergency and all staff we saw were really friendly and helpful. The decoration/rooms/food are a bit 1980s but the care and staff are really high quality. It's the opposite of delta hospital in my opinion (where the aim seems to be to get money out of you). If you have a sick kid i would definitely recommend coming here. Thankyou to all staff who looked after us.

Néonatologie. They deserve 5 stars, nurses like Emmanuelle, Martina, etc. They were a blessing, simply wonderful. Maternité. In general very good and professional service, except one nurse who was very rude and not honest.

The maternity is an icon of humanity. I delivered my baby here and the experience was excellent. I wish all women in the world could have a delivery as we had. Thanks to all Sache-femme, Doctors, nurses, administratives, etc.

I had a very good experience here after I twisted my ankle badly - I was assessed, x-rayed, and given a plaster cast within a couple of hours. Staff were able to use English which was a great help. Thank you!

Horrible dry service and terrible communication, as if handled by an intern. New website missing a lot of information it had before. The only good thing about it is the qualified doctors.

Do not go here for your COVID test. They hospital if fine for other things, but are super inefficient for COVID testing(and we’re over year into this!). They accept both people with and without appointments but no signage to note where to go if you have an appointment. So I waited in the single huge line that extended about 30 meters back. A person comes out and calls your name once if you have an appointment, otherwise you wait. If you’re at the back of the line( like I was) and don’t hear your name (which I didn’t) they move to the next name on the list. Also, there is nothing marked on the ground to encourage social distancing so all these people coming for a a test are standing less than a meter from each other. When I finally decided to leave my well-earned(40 minutes) place in line to see if they called my name already(which they had), they couldn’t find my insurance information in their system even though I just accessed it yesterday. It’s a mess. Choose a Synlab place for COVID testing. They have a good system.

My partner was hospitalize with Covid-19 in the fall of 2021, he was there for 3 weeks, 1 week in intensive care and was finally released just before Christmas and has, since made a complete recovery. Every time I visited, I was very impressed with the patience, professionalism and even humor of the nursing staff looking after him. Those were difficult times and it was especially hard on the over stretched and over worked care takers. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This hospital should be destroyed, disrespectful nurses, bad behaving, yesterday i made a nose surgery, I couldn’t go toilet so they gave me a bottle to piss in it, anyway I did piss in it, then by mistake I spilled it on the bed, I told the nurses if it’s possible to change the blankets, but they refused and I slept on the piss for a whole night. Bravo Keep the good work!
