    This hospital is a joke. Especially the emergency room. I arrived at 6pm. After 1h I was took by the first "doctor". I told him that I took a surgery here on Wednesday. During the consultation, he asked me 5 times when. He didn't seem to be aware about my medical file. (In my innocence, I chose to come here hoping they would know the protocol applied for my surgery. Now I think it was more stupidity than innocence. They don't know anything.) After, I was invited out to wait. Maybe for a real doctor. With big pains and impossible to find a position in the wheel chair, finally I entered in the real emergency room at 22.30. Another doctor came, with her hands in the pockets, and listened to my issue. She looked a little bit afraid to come closer, like I would be contagious. She decided to do some blood tests. They were supposed to be ready in 1.5h. After more than 2 hours, I am still waiting, without receiving at list a pain killer. At least I am writing a review. As long as I am still able.... From the pictures you can see another advantage of being patient here. It is very dirty. After another hour after the expected 1.5h, I went to the hall and I asked the doctor about the results. It seems that they thought I left already: )))l. After I expressed my upset, they gave me a pain killer and told me to take appointment to the surger.

Peu voire pas d'égard pour les patients, ils sont pas à l'écoute, et c'est pas agréable d'être en consultation chez eux puisqu'on ne se sent pas pris au sérieux. Déjà, ils te font attendre une heure (voire plus), te prennent en retard et s'excusent même pas. Ensuite, ils sont incapables de mener une vraie discussion et d'apporter des vraies réponses. Je pense même pas qu'on puisse parler de vrais médecins franchement, tant leurs connaissances ont l'air superficielles. On a le sentiment que la raison de notre consultation ne les intéresse pas, et qu'ils veulent expédier au plus vite. C’est à peine si ils te regardent et prêtent attention à ce que tu dis. Ils hésitent pas à t’interrompre aussi de manière irrespectueuse et répétée. Pour une consultation médicale, c’est quand même le comble. En six consultations, je n'ai eu qu'une seule information, et elle m'a été donnée de manière très sommaire. Si vous consultez pour un problème sensible ou qui vous tient à coeur, n'allez surtout pas dans cet hôpital. En plus de ça, les rendez-vous sont chers. En bref, des gens incompétents et pas de professionnalisme. Et je précise que les médecins de cet hôpital ont tous l'air déprimés. Seul point positif : la rapidité administrative, et la gentillesse des secrétaires. Sinon, c'est nul globalement.

    It is just overwhelming to explain in details all the terrible experience of giving birth and neonatal intensive care here.! Unprofessionals ,high level of insensitivity, poor and very very risky hygiene you don’t see even in a dirty cheap place…Rarely a friendly face from the staff (including doctors, nurses )and a list of negligences goes on and on… I had to trust the reviews here at first, people have a reason they write and are so unhappy. This place is full of incompetence and disumanità. The big beautiful building and the fancy entrance is just to fool you.

Ce jour j'ai reçus un mail du service facturation me signalant que je ne devais rien au chirec au niveau facturation que l'assurance avait tout payé mais cela est faux car il y a eu facturation de produits médicaux qui n'ont pas été consommé puisque l'intervention à été annulée le jour de l'admission et de plus les produits ne sont pas couvert par l'assurance et que de ce fait je ne devais pas recevoir copie de la facture hors que légalement l'hôpital est tenu de délivrer copie de la facture au patient.Ce que les autres intervenants dévoilent est la vérité et rejoint le fait que le Chirec n'est pas transparent avec les patients. J'ai demandé copie de la feuille de pharmacie puisque l'on me dit que tout a été annulé comme pas d'intervention et même cela est refusé car soit disant que l assurance hospitalisation à été remboursée et surtout pas droit à la copie facture rectifiée pour pouvoir vérifie ci-cela à bien été remboursé.

    very good conditions, there architecture and the way the hospital is organised takes you to believe that here are very good services that are offered to all the patients. there are some issues on the welcome area as they do the reservation for surgery early in the morning and when you go there they will say you are not on the list. a few things to improve but the overall image is good.

    I can not give any stars to this hospital. Doctor JOSIANE FOTSO MAKUNYE I paid 160 euros. This woman teared my mouth, after the anesthesia I had an hematoma, but all of this is not a terror. She inserted a screw into my bone that was not the correct size and it feel out. I have lost 160 euros and nobody can explain how I can return my money back. She is not a doctor she is a monster and thief.

    This hospital is nothing but else but a bank. The doctors I met are either bored or do not want to examine further. Bad experience. If you take an appointment, you will surely wait over half and hour. The doctor did not even examine me. He saw my medical reports, we had a conversation and after half an hour I had to pay 180E and leave. Another doctor - head of a department, told me "what do you want from us"? These are doctors that I suppose have taken an oath to help people. Never even go there. May be for a coffee as they have a nice area in the building for coffee.

    This hospital is unbelievable. At first I did not want to write anything but I think it’s better to let other people understand how bad the service as well as system works in this hospital. My partner has a jaw operation in order to have Invisalign. First the price was given 11 thousands euro. After he discussed with his insurance they changed to 8 thousands and 6 thousands euro because the insurance told him that the hospital tried to rip him off. So the hospital blamed the surgeon and vice versa for the mistake. <Incredible with 5 thousands euro difference>. The operation went fine - thank god. I know nurses are amazing but this I must mention. The IV drip was leaking over the bed. He told one of the nurses about that and she said she will come back but she never went back so the bed was fully wet without saying sorry. The next morning he was asked if he wants bread or coffee while he is supposed to have soup or smoothies. <they don’t really know what kind of operation he did have> I would never imagine with the fee of this operation will not include every time he comes back to check up. 3 first times he came back to check up his mouth he had to pay 75 euro for that. <what an opportunist> For this operation he needed a 2nd one after a year. However, it was very difficult to communicate with the surgeon. It took a very long time and it was passed the date he supposed to have his operation. For this surgery the hospital asked another ~ 6 thousands euro after keeping reducing. So my partner decided to change to UZ hospital which was only 5 thousands needed to pay and service in UZ can’t be better. <There was nothing that my partner could complain about UZ hospital> I would not recommend to have a service here in Delta Chirec. This is a joke and I would love to share this experience to anyone before ending up the same thing as my partner. Maybe before you give your health as well as your life to this hospital.

    I took my 1yo baby to the hospital on Monday and on Tuesday. 40 degrees of fever, difficulty to breath. Both occasions the doctor sent us home after 5 minutes consultation. Even on Tuesday I asked for the screening for pulmonary infection, the doctor refused and got mad that I came back just one day after the first appointment. On Thursday I returned and the emergency doctor asked why I waited so long to look for a hospital and told me that my baby condition was critical. 10 days of hospitalization, no powder milk (charged) and more 3 months of treatment because of a doctor lazy unresposable.     Worst experience ever!! You wait for 4 to 5 hours with a broken hand!! Staff are so mean, no one is helpful in the whole emergency area. If you ask about the doctor they will get even more mean to you! I guess you are not allowed to be in pain and ask questions... What a bad way to treat sick people! Big hospital with no doctors to help in th ER! What a shame

    I don't recommend this hospital for common consultation. Not only they're too expensive but also the service is poor. The doctors are always late and in a hurry because they schedule more people than they should. Some of them can't even fill out an attestation correctly and you have the headache to come back to the hospital just for requesting a document again. Very annoying.

    BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS HOSPITAL!! My wife went for a 1-day operation. Just before the operation the admin personnel made her sign a long document without giving time to review, and suggested her to opt for an individual room for a total cost of no more than 169 EUR (orally confirmed). Afterward, they passed a bill of 1000+ EUR extra, not reimbursable by the assurance, on the claim that when in an individual room, they can raise charges by 300%. At home, when we read the full document, this was indeed mentioned but among tons of other information impossible to process on the spot, and in contradiction to what we were told. We are very disappointed and totally disrecommend this hospital, or in case of need, be extremely careful with what you sign.

    Several bad experiences. At the maternity, after a night of labour in the natural room, the midwife put pressure on me saying irritated that she thought I wouldn't want the epidural at all (although it was in my birth plan), and I would have to change rooms if I wanted the epidural, and that if I waited I would not have it.. this compelled me to take it too soon and then it was a nightmare from that moment onwards, they changed rooms into a small awful room with lights and sounds, leaving me lying there for hours saying I shouldn't move. They lied saying I could control the dosage, even though just after doing it they said I couldn't, then they injected oxytocin without explaining why, they put me in the worst gynecological position and didn't respect any of my birth plan. Then at maternity they kept giving us contradictory advice and didn't help properly with breastfeeding. And today We had an operation for our 1,5 month son's little finger, and they made us wait 3 hours before and after the operation, 50 minutes in the "wake room" where I couldn't feed him, even though he was hungry and distressed. So stressful. And now we received an astronomic bill for an “individual room” that we didn’t ask for and didn’t even use!!!! It's scandalous, the last time we ever set foot here!!!

Par mail, c'est tout aussi inefficace: des réponses envoyées avec des phrases toutes faites, reproduites systématiquement à tous, sans même prendre la peine de lire les questions.     I was told to come right on time for Covid but I had to wait one hour. I chose a Doctor who could speak my language, but she barely talked to me, while continuously talking in Dutch about me to her assistant. She/They didn't listen to my problem, they didn't tell me the cause, they didn't fix it. She was rude and cocky. Never found a doctor like that before. I hope to find someone better in another hospital.

    The most beautiful stay in Maternity ward. Giving birth to my daughter was such a pleasant experience, which i didn’t expect at all! Very nice people work there and I just want to say thank you all ❤️ Clean rooms, amazing food, attentive helpful staff, great delivery room, I’ve couldn’t of asked for better. One more thing to add to those who complain about prices. This is a private hospital, if you don’t have a good insurance just don't go there, many other options nearby. We haven’t had troubles on this matter since we’ve asked everything before hospitalisation. Ask your insurance and ask hospital directly, no issues in that case.

I was left without medical treatment, only referrals to see more other doctors instead of making internal transfers... I was so in bad shape that did not insist. When I left that room I read the notes he wrote about me and it seems he got totally wrong the length of my disability due to pain. No track of the issues that he himself found, no notes of the first visit... I think that rent their rooms to any person that thinks is a doctor. Receptionists... wow! equally unprofessionals... Especially if you do not speak English. THEY ONLY SPEAK FRENCH but from their english section it seems their services are provided also in english... but not. Even doctors do not speak english.     Run away. Our worst experience ever. My son was born there. No respect or empathy for the parents or babies who are treated like a piece of meat. Partying, screaming and shouting by the nurses in the neonatal ward between 11pm and 3am. A money pit.

    Brand new and beautiful looking infrastructure, but nursery care is very average, with a constant turnover implying you have to understand yourself and repeat to each nurse what is in your medical file - as they will not bother reading it before entering your room, even if you have just been operated and under morphine treatment. Also, there was an invasion of acari in my bed (individual room worthy 900 euro per night...), which led to the need to have blankets changed in the middle of the night (they had not been changed in the previous day and a half occupied by me, and I doubt they were really clean before I occupied the room). Grossly overpriced for what you get.

Malheureusement, suite à une fracture du fémur, mon fils Raheel Ur Rehman à été admis à votre hopital du 03/06/2020 au 15/03/2020. Suite aux divers remarques et sensation de culpabilité créér par les infirmières j'ai du arrêter toute mes affaires ai été " obligé " de rester 24/24 avec mon enfant. Pour ce, lorsque je n'étais pas présent je laissais quelqu'un à ma place pour 95% du temps.  Je me demande, si le rôle des infirmières n'est il pas d'apporter l'aide psychologique pour ne pas stresser patients et parents dans des moments difficile et de surtout représenter l'image, l'hopital ou groupe pour lequel elles travaillent? Je me suis vu assigner des ordres et moqueries comme si j'étais dans une prison   exemple: mon fils ne bois pas de jus de pomme et après le platre, et suite a sa demande, j'ai demandé si je peux lui donner a boire et on me dis " oui, et l'infirmière me tends un jus de pomme, je lui demande s'il aime pas cela je peux lui donner du jus de fraise? Elle me dis "non ! jus de pomme!" Je vais essayer de le faire boire ( tout en entendant l'infirmière rigoler de son exploit avec ses collegues) mais suite au refus de mon fils, je me redirige vers l'infirmiere pour lui signaler qui me répond "alors ok donner lui le jus de fraise" !? Mon fils a un seuil de douleur énorme, lorsque je l'ai ramener a l'hopital avec sa Jambe gonflée nous ne savions pas que C'est une fracture. Car il ne pleurais pas et ne montrais pas de douleur énorme, je pensais a une infection. Le médecin/ infirmier en urgence peuvent le confirmer!!! Mais les 2 élément n'ont pas cessé de remettre cette sensation culpabilité et de doute en me disant tout au long du séjour que "cela est pas normal" " faite votre enquete" "nous envoyons les services social" J'ai du me concerter moi meme avec mon Conseil, l'ONE, les services sociaux car j'avais peur et j'étais déja sous le shock et désorienté et commencait à moi même me sentir coupable! Heureusement, que les personnes exterieure de l'hopital avec lesquelles je me suis entretenu ont montre beaucoup de professionalisme et mon guidé et appaiser ainsi que que quelques infirmières,  étudiantes, femme de ménage qui sont des sucres. Il y a 2 infirmière qui ont par moment été très désagreable, c'est ce que j'ai ressenti. Je voudrais aussi attirer votre attention sur 2 autres point de négligence! Tout au long du séjour, et comme j'ai déja des bases et un peu d'experience dans le secteur medical (j'ai aussi travailler pour le groupe CHIREC à l'hopital St Anne St Remi et en constatant clairement que les collant sur les jambes sont entrain d'arracher la peau de mon enfant, je le signale plusieurs fois qu'il faut les changer mais les infirmières n'ont pas envies car selon elle de tt façon faudra les enlever Dans 3 jours me répond t on alors. Le jour suivant le mal est arrivé les collant on lacher en créant des grosses cloches de la taille de pieces de 2euros sur les petite jambes de mon fils de 3 ans! Ceci est intolérable!!! Mon fils a 3 ans est rentrer pour une fracture et ressortiras pour finir avec d'autres blessures! Cela est très douloureux!  Je trouve aussi des griffes sur sa jambe que " nous ne savons pas a d'ou ca vient " c'étais pendant u moment ou mon fils devrais être surveiller par les infirmières! Dernier jour, on me réveille a l'arrache pour m'envoyer en scintigraphie on m'envoie en Scinté et là Malheur tt le produit RADIOACTiF injecté ressorts sur la chemise corps et draps de mon enfant!!! Les infirmères n'ont pas vérifier si le catheter n'étais pas obstrué ou infecté sous le bandage!!!!!!!!  Comment se fait il qu'il n'y pas de personne disponible un lundi matin Dans l'hopital DELTA pour relations patients ,plaintes et médiations! Ni même de le medecin responsable Dr Cuvelier?

    Great, modern place.. Not really a hospital, but a 5-star hotel which has doctors inside... Doctors are GREAT - but If you have to be admitted - "hospital" insists that it has no responsibility for the doctors decisions (you have to sign it)... Also, you cant view any of your medical files (so they link you to their services only, quite opposite to modern hospitals which are part of Nexuzhealth)... Parking is more expensive than Brussels Shopping malls :) On the positive side - clean Emergency.

    I booked an appointment on 12-1-2022 as advised by my doctor for echography in this hospital. When I arrived at the hospital they told me I didn’t have an appointment for that day and that someone entered the system and cancelled it two days before without informing me. As a result of this I went all the way there, risked being infected with COVID-19 , payed for taxi for nothing. I will submit an official complaint for an investigation of the matter as it is unacceptable. I definitely want a refund of the expenses to reach the hospital.

    Staff and organization is very poor. Many patients wait for hours, service and care is really questionable. At least a dozen of people were tired of waiting for hours. When you need to go for surgery, you're anxious and stressed etc. Staff couldn't care less. Many patients were complaining today at the service were I was (eye surgery). A lady was in bad condition and waited for hours, she needed to go to urgency completely dehydrated. Hospital is very modern, but last time I step into this place.

Even pointing with fingers towards a patient and talking with an attitude.blaming patient and even somehow therating that she cannot take the behaviour where you try to see if you take an appointment.     I have been in Chirec several times. the doctors and service is good. but the team in charge of the invoice is the worse. - very few doctors/nurses speak dutch/english... - I received an invoice of 2 years ago...no clue even what is about :D - i received an invoice of something which was not right. I have sent several emails/phone calls and nobody has answered me...2 years later I am still waiting, but be careful if the bill is not paid on time. To conclude good doctors but very very bad client service...

    Incredible, more than 40 min waiting time to go to an admission office giving the fact there are multiple offices on registration with no people who can help, more than 10 minutes waiting time for a number that is clearly not in the waiting room. Thankfully the nurses on the floor were very nice which gave me more confidence in this hospital

    Was here in this hospital for the first time today 🏥 everything went great! 👍 at the info ℹ️ the staff was very friendly! The staff were very friendly at registration 👍 I didn't have to wait long in the radiology department and the radiology team was friendly and helpful 👍 the clinic itself has some advantages, the parking garage is very large 👍 there is an aparthotel right next to the hospital 👍 there are everything from the pharmacy to to the café and gifts 🎁 everything 👍 architecturally inviting 👍 for all of this there are 5 stars 🌟

    This hospital is not having good doctors. It is not recommended for consultation or surgery. I can only recommend this hospital for blood tests, images and any other tests which require new equipments or machines. It looks great and new but they should really choose good doctors to work in it! I can also say that the emergency department is the best department in this hospital. (They are fast and reliable) I don't know why the hospitals in Brussels (in general) are very bad.

    I had four experiences with this hospital: 1. Emergency Room: I had high blood pressure. I was hooked up to a machine to monitor the pressure. I was given some serum to lower the BP. The nurse forgot to turn on the BP monitor. Later she turned it on and my BP had gone down. 2. Emergency Room (during covid): I was bitten and scratched by my cat one Sunday night. Called my GP who told me to go to the ER. I was well received at reception. The ER was deserted. Waited 30 minutes for a nurse to show up. She said I needed to contact my GP before I could come the ER. I told her I had done that already. She did not seem to believe me, but decide to call a doctor. After another 30 minutes, the doctor gave me a prescription for a Tetanus shot and told the nurse to take care of the wounds and give the the Tetanus shot. After another 30 minutes, the procedures were implemented. 3. Operation (day hospitalisation) The lobby of the hospital looks like a train station or airport with coffee shops, boutiques, and a pharmacy. The signage is awful. It must have been done by an amateur. After a lot hesitation, I found the admissions counter. If you don’t have a Belgium ID card, then you are probably in trouble, because you need to plug it into a machine that will give you a number (if you only speak English tough luck, the machine seems only to handle French and Dutch). After getting my number, I waited for 1 hour before seeing a female admissions clerk. The office she works does not have a back wall (it is really an open plan cubicle) so it is very noisy. You can hear the other clerks shoot the breeze about what they will have for lunch. It is particularly disturbing for people what wear hearing aids. She was very professional and friendly. Finding where I had to go was easier, but once again the signage was not helpful. After checking in, things improved dramatically and the service was first rate. By the way, if you can help it, DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL BY CAR. The parking is very badly organised. It is expensive (2 Euros per hour) and it does not accept cash. Once inside, you will most likely get lost. The same amateur who designed the hospital’s signage also worked here. The place is badly lit and confusing. If you park below the minus third floor, be prepared to have a very hard time finding the exit. There is a trick, which I discovered after driving around for 15 minutes. You have to drive up to the minus third floor then drive down to the minus fourth floor execute a u-turn and go back to the minus third floor and eventually the exit. Good luck!

    I am not aware of any better hospital in Brussels, and I have had experience staying a few nights in it for the birth of my children and for 2 hospitalisations. They have state of the art equipment and the place looks modern and clean like a high-class hotel. It is understandably expensive, given the services and the state of the establishment this is not surprising. It is a place where (apart from emergencies) you choose yourself the doctors for consultations of operations, so those accusing the hospital for doctors' performance have probably not understood how it works.

    How is it called Emergency room if you have to wait for hours to be seen! I went there with a baby and I waited for two hours to see a doctor! I gave up and I run somewhere else! Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had 50 people waiting dying in the ER with no one attending to them (2 ladies fainted waiting) !!!!if you want to provide healthcare start hiring doctors or close the ER!     New renovation, facility looks great. Doctors are friendly and nice. My complaint is mostly for parking cost. Not sure why you have to pay for parking when you are the patient there. Lets see you park for overnight the parking cost would 24hour times 2 euro=48 euro a day.

    I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews here. Certainly I would give the food one star (zero, actually), but I have found this to me a great hospital , otherwise. Emergency triaged me quickly, thoroughly explained everything. They did the right tests and I was quickly admitted. They do speak less English on the floors, but there’s always someone around to help. All of the doctors speak English. They have taken good care of me at one of the sickest points of my life. They have managed some complications quickly and properly (validated by my mother, a nurse). The building is new and clean and comfortable. I haven’t seen the bill yet, but I’m from America. Last time my partner was in the Hospital for 6 days the bill was $36K. Even if my 6 day bill is $3K, I’m gonna be okay with that.

    Clean modern building. I have never had a faster admission in any hospital. Very well organised and quick admission. The personnel is very polite and friendly. When I was waiting for my surgery downstairs in a preoperational service , literally every nurse told be « hello » and asked me how I was feeling. The guess that was preparing me was very attentive and caring, we exchanged our life stories quickly. The surgery went well and I got the same level of attention after it. What I did not like was that I had to wait for 3 Hours to be taken for the surgery (in my room). I came in at 10h like advised and the surgery started only at 13h00. The nurse told me that she did know anything at schedule and that it depended on the availability of free operating rooms and aenestetical equipment. I was hungry and thirsty, I was forbidden to eat and drink. Last time I had food was 8pm the eve before and last drink was at 6am. Also the food they served me after the surgery was pretty disgusting.

    For months I'm not able to get an asnwer from them why did they invoiced me for? I contacted them multiple times, but simply ignoring my messages. The customer relations is trying to gelp sometimes, but facturation is ignorant and completely unresponsive. They had really weird things on the invoice I received. Of course they send their demands to debt collector, but telling me why am I paying for? Nope. Avoid this place as plague!

    I have been treated here many times, for scans, consultations, and one surgery. Everything from Reception to Treatment to Billing was faultless. The staff were caring and competent. Most spoke English. I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent facility.

    Though the doctors I saw there are fine, I often have serious problems with the secretary services at Delta. Today, when we went there for my wife’s appointment timely, the secretary told us that our appointment was moved to next month. She said she left a VOICE MESSAGE on our phone about this. Just came out of surgery today - a magician Dr Berthe and phenomenal anesthesiologist dr. Oulad. These names are at the level of international renown. Cleanliness impeccable. All equipment is there. I allowed for waiting time in completing admin procedures - was faster than last time. I assume - it is a big hospital, and everyone needs to work as a team, procedures to be followed. It did. Management can feel comfortable in performing their role as well! Not the first visit, likely will be not the last. For sure not cheap, but I care about my health so do you, right?

    I had a knee surgery at Delta (Dr Deltour). Planning and organisation was good. Everything went well. The results are exactly as expected. All the staff was professional, nice and responsive. Keep an eye on the prices however, because there are a lot of non conventioned doktors that can lead to unexpected additional charges (i took a shared room to avoid these additional charges).

    I don’t recommend the emergency services of this hospital. I had an ear infection and I called Beforehand to confirm that there was an ear specialist doctor on duty. The hospital confirmed there was a specialist available but in the end I was seen by a General Practitioner (GP) who didn’t even clean my blocked ear, made a wrong diagnosis and gave me obviously the wrong medication.     Very nice newly built hospital and good doctor But I’m truly disappointed with the orthopedi admin. First time coming here, they gave me the wrong specialist appointment when I already told them many many times during the phone call the specific problem I have so, they have to reschedule me and I have to come back again for the correct appointment. Second time being in this hospital, also had problem with the admin. I waited for the doctor but the doctor didn’t come so I double checked with the admin, then they informed me that the doctor isn’t there and asked for another reschedule and she was very rude towards me.

    Had an unremarkable out patient surgery (thankfully). Staff were excellent in the hospital. Clean and new. Easy admission process. Price was €3000 euros which was expensive. The signposting in the hospital was unclear and misleading, and like most I got lost. The hospital Invoice/Facture department was impossible to reach: They did not answer the telephone, and they never reply to emails even from me or in my case the surgeon when they incorrectly billed me. I tried to call them several times a week for two months in either Dutch or English but had no answer. It took months to sort out.
