When in Belgium, what do you think of when it comes to food? For me it is Belgium Waffles and it was important that we went some place that had authentic, quality waffles. After doing some research, I decided to go to Pardon Brussels which is close to our hotel. When you walk in, it's very quiet, intimate and there is plenty of seating. When it's busy, they'll open up a second room but while we were there it was one room only but still plenty of seating. The waitstaff is wonderful, friendly and very helpful. She took our order, made suggestions and checked in on us several times to make sure we were happy. I ordered the Belgium Waffle and it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. I had a side of Hazelnut Chocolate and strawberries on the side and a coffee. It was so good that I ordered another to take back with me to the hotel. Pardon Brussels also offers free WiFi and the ability to seat peacefully and use your computer to relax or work on something. I will definitely be back in the future. Delicious, light Brussels waffles and great coffee. They have an incredible range of waffle flavours. I tried the waffle with cacao and it was absolutely delicious. Just be aware that they have very limited seating inside and outside and service is a little on the slow side. The waffles were really delicious and I'll definitely be back to try out different ones on the menu.

The best coffee I've had in Brussels, and by some distance! Aromatic, sweet and smooth. I was surprised at first but then I looked inside and saw a variety of coffee preparations: Chemex, V60, Aeropress, etc. This is when I realized it's a serious specialty coffee shop. The staff is extremely nice, and the interior is extremely cozy (although I've only been on the terrasse). I'll have to try the waffles too. If they have even half the care of the coffee preparation, I think I will be blown away.

I’ve been to Pardon a few times. Each time the food is impeccable. Whether it is a sweet waffle or a salty lunch veriosion, it os always great. Today I had a salty lunch version which was amazing. Aubergin pate, fennel, pickled carrots and a waffle … I mean just a delight! The service in typical Brussels, nothing to friendly but good and fast. Have in mind prices are on the expensive side. It is a must visit in Saint Gilles and Brussels in general!

This is a must-stop for Brussels! Gourmet food at great prices. 25€ for a full meal that includes a hot drink, a cold drink and a hearty meal. The food itself is gourmet. I had the fisherman’s brunch. The staff is SO friendly. While we tried our best at french, they kindly spoke English. They also sell sweet treats, chocolate, honey, and tea. I cannot recommend this place more.

Lovely place with good coffee and food.

The food was amazing - we tried a starter salad with chicoree, fennel, zucchini and blueberry together with a salty waffle and homemade strawberry juice, and a sweet waffle with cocoa nibs inside. Love this place, cozy interior, friendly service and great flavors with :)

So pleased to have found this stylish little café making tasty and interesting food and drink. Worth a visit and detour from the city centre. Modern, understated decor, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and staff. Savoury and sweet waffles all freshly made and lovely flavours. Coffee also very good.

They mainly have sweet waffle options. The only savoury one was as a part of large breakfast offering. The waffle with dark chocolate coulis was good - the Brussels waffle was very fluffy and slightly crunchy outside. One waffle was of course a very small portion for an adult. The cappuccino was okay - slightly watery to my taste. The staff was very friendly and welcoming (although for some reason asked to pay with cash), the atmosphere inside was nice, the prices were fair for what we got

Very happy to have found a brunch place with vegan option. The waffles were very good, and overall the whole vegan plate very tasty. Could be a bit more filling with a bigger waffle and more proteins.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Pardon Brussels Cafe for breakfast and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The cappuccino I had was the best I've ever tasted, and the Belgian waffles were absolutely amazing. The texture was perfect, and they were served with fresh fruit and whipped cream that complemented the waffles perfectly. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the waitstaff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, I highly recommend the this cafe for anyone looking for delicious breakfast options and top-notch service. I will definitely be returning!

I was pleased to find a place that serves a large variety of delicious vegan waffles! Being lactose intolerant it is not an easy task. Brunch was very good, just a bit disappointing in quantity. Nice choice of both cold and hot drinks. Great service!

This cafe served the most delicious tea! The waitress was super helpful and guided us on the best things to order. The waffles are fresh and very tasty. The place had lovely atmosphere and I would highly recommend!

Pardon is a charming waffle café in the Parvis St Gilles in Brussels. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The staff is nice, attentive and friendly. They offer a variety of set menus for brunch but you can also build your waffle by choosing the base of the waffle (plain, chocolate chips, or cinnamon) and the toppings. I went for the cinnamon waffle with the fruit of the day - poached pear - and whipped cream simple but absolutely lovely. I would recommend Pardon to anyone looking for a delicious waffle in Brussels off the beaten path. The staff is incredibly nice, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the waffles are delicious! My only suggestion is perhaps to add more savoury toppings for those of us with more savoury teeth.

Had breakfast and lunch there while waiting for the time to go catch my train. The food was great and the staff very friendly even though I stayed a while. The drink was very good too.

Beautiful fluffy and crispy on the outside waffles, not to heavy on the stomach. I was surprised but loves how subtle the hazelnut flavour was, it was enough to hit the spot but not to sickening (too sweet). As my first time travelling Europe and only being able to speak English, the lovely lady that worked here was super accommodating and helped me choose my waffle with sides. A warm welcoming and cosy atmosphere, I would love to come back.

Great food, amazing eye for detail with a nice atmosphere, relaxing music and friendly staff who despite busy conditions do their best to accommodate everyone and give their best service. Definitely worth paying a visit if you come by Brussels. And their waffles are simply amazing!

Incredible Belgian waffle with so many fresh and homemade side options. The homemade whipped cream was mind blowing. They also have a wide range of exotic tea selections that go perfectly with the waffle. The atmosphere and service are so welcoming, homey, and full of personality. The coolest part is there’s a vintage store in the back of the cafe (how awesome is that??) with a curated selection of female wears. Cannot recommend this cafe more :)

This is a fantastic place that offers a creative and seasonal menu, carefully selected ingredients, vg/vegan options, and a great vibe & playlist. Their coffee is top standing, and their waffles are incredible. The lunch menu includes unusual and yummy combinations of side dishes.

I stopped by, since it was best rated in nearby distance for the search term "waffle", and I didn't got disappointed. Service was lovely, the waffle was great - crispy outside and super tender inside, fruits where fresh. 10 out of 10! It's located in the second row but was super busy and slightly overcrowded I would say. As I said the service was still great but not much room since you are basically sitting with the people from the next table.

The best waffles in Brussels! We loved our breakfast here. The staff was so lovely and their coffee is delicious, so many options! Everything is homemade. The place was also lovely decorated. We wished it opened earlier as when you’re a tourist and visiting, at 10:30 you’d hope to already be out and about. Not many places open before 10 in Brussels and that can be inconvenient

Recommended by my sister and I am really thankful for that. We visited this place on Saturday for brunch and we loved it from first sight. Cosy atmosphere, few tables in the sunshine and lovely music. We had cheese lover and vegan brunch options, you have choice of waffle , one hot and cold drink. Food was really tasty and fresh. Coffee smelled like heaven. Staff was friendly and they seemed to enjoy their work. You can also buy coffee, tea and sweet waffles as gift pack. If you are near Saint Gilles metro station then you must check out this place.

Come after 1130am for the lunch menu — the salty waffles were the best!!!!!! (But only available for lunch). We came at 11am and ordered sweet Brussels waffles from the breakfast menu (over the Liege waffles), which were more crunchy and less chewy, which we thought were okay. The salty waffles by lunchtime were hands down much better!! Be prepared to wait though ;) but the wait was worth it

First off the service is really great. Super friendly despite having to move us inside. Then food is really amazing and ingredients are fresh according to the season. Great place for brunch. Limited outside seating

I am glad my friend insisted we find somewhere nice for waffles away from the tourist spots. This is such a lovely cafe to spend your weekend mornings. The staffs that worked in the cafe was super patient with us and also gave us good recommendations on what to try! ☺️ highly recommended!

Amazing waffles! Really worth try. We took the house suggestion of marmelad and it was hit! The vegan homemade Nutella was also amazing.
