Likely one of the largest Thai Buddhist temples in Belgium. The Thai community gathers every first and third Sunday of each month for a food market where you can eat on the spot or as takeaway. There are often side activities like "tam boon", meaning giving donations in return for blessings, and other types of ceremonies / celebrations according to the Buddhist calendar. The temple itself is nothing spectacular: it's a regular Belgian villa refurbished as a temple. It has no architectural value.

A very nice way to travel to Thailand, hidden in a corner in Waterloo. Behind the temple is a little food market. We were here in January and there was not so much choice in groceries. Fortunately there were several food stalls open so we could rediscover the Thai kitchen. There is a big tent in which you can sit to eat. When we were eating there there was no heating... luckily for me I ordered the spicy noodles :)

Every first and third Sunday of the mouth, there is Thai market hosted here. You can buy fresh ingredients for Thai dishes and local Thai products. And besides all of that you can enjoy really Thai street food, it feels like you are sitting in a corner in Thailand.
